(I dont really know how to draw so I made an avatar on how Kotoko, Sho, and Fujasaki looked when they were kids)
Kotoko POV
"Why wont this stupid thing work?"
I looked around the forest of death I was currently taking the chunin exams and my two team mates left me all alone and I cant find them. Luckily I brought a flare with me (getting separated from them was nothing new to me).
"Huh?"
I looked on the inside of the guns head and saw a rock preventing the flare from firing.
"Ugh really?!"
I turned the flare towards the ground and began tapping the side of it roughly trying to knock the rock from inside of it. After a while of tapping the rock didnt come out, I grabbed a kenai from my back pouch and put it on the side of the gun and tried to pull the rock out. By accident I broke the head of the gun.
"Ugh! You've got to be kidding me!" I threw the gun and slumped down on a nearby tree.
"Idiots why do I always get separated from them" Tears began to roll down my face.
I wiped them quickly from my face and slapping myself in the cheeks.
"No time for crying"
I looked at the broken flare gun and the flare bullet and thought for a while. After a while I had an idea, i could use my wind gun as a way to launch the flare into the air with enough force to break it open in the air.
I scrambled to my feet and grabbed the flare bullet and put it in my teeth. I made the signs of my jujitsu and quickly used my mouth to put the bullet between my fingers. I released the jutsu into the air launching it and just as I had anticipated it exploded. Soon enough I saw two other flares of blue and green go off.

"Yes!" I smiled happily and jumped into a near by tree and began going to where the blue flare went off.
I reached into my pocket making sure I had my scroll.
"One of those two had better gotten the Heaven scroll." I said to myself as I jumped through the trees.
I had finally made it to where the fog of the flare lingered and I was confused. Where was Sho?
Sho was my other team mate who had taken the chunin exams along with Fujisaki, I know Fujasaki saw it so where is he?"
I walked around the site for a minute searching for clues on where they could be and I found my answer all to quickly.
"Sho! Fujasaki!"
They were both tied up in a nearby cave. They both looked at me in horror before yelling.
"LOOK OUT"
I quickly looked around the site, upon looking up I saw a ninja with with a land of sound headband on with what look likes a piece of metal on his arm and bandage over the left side of his face.
I jumped back and grabbed a kunai from pouch.
"Who are you?!" I yelled at the man.
"I am Dozu from the land of sound and I am here to take your Heaven scroll"
He rolled up his sleeve and emitted a loud high pitched sound from his arm, making me fall to my knees covering my ears.
"W-Whats that noise?!"

Dragons were the apex predators of the magical world, feared for their strength and intelligence. They stood at the pinnacle of creation, until mankind fueled by fear and envy banded together and struck them down as the greatest threat to the continued existence of their kingdoms. Peace reigned for many years across the continent, until an accident in the Magocracy of Ken turned one of the most powerful mage lords into a power mad lich. Raising an undead army and creating a cult that worshipped him like a god, he cut a bloody swath across the continent in a bid to create his own domain. A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Of course, none of this has much bearing on the everyday life of a an ordinary young orphan in the care of a Temple run home. Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
