"Bae you hungry?" I asked Harmony. "I gotta go make some plays–they won't take me long at all, and on my way back home Ima pick up some food." I explained to her. She sat up in our bed and thought on it before shaking her head no.

I frowned up my lips and walked over to her. "You sure?" I questioned.

"Yes Kavon, I am." She kissed my lips. Ever since yesterday she had been in a good mood which made me happy.

"Aight bae, but if I come back with some food for me and yo ass get to jumping all inna nigga plate and shit, tryna eat my shit, we gone be fighting." I joked.

She fanned me off laughing. I leaned down and pecked her lips before leaving and making my way to my hellcat.

I loved Harmony, she made me smile when I was sad, helped me when I was down on my ass, she didn't judge me nor my past, and she understood me. I was just afraid to tell her I loved her because I didn't want that to change what we had.

Yea we had been going out for a minute, but what if I tell her I love her and she doesn't feel the same way? It would be awkward after that.

She was a genuine person, there was no way I couldn't love her. She had a different type of affect on me. I became soft as hell for her.

Pulling out of the driveway, I made my way to the trap because I had to meet up with Ke, Mali, Jb, and Blakk. Bam would have came too but he was not leaving Siyari's side.

He didn't want anything else to happen to her. He became more and more protective over her by the day.

And his trust issues were fucked up at the moment. I think his trust for us was fading–which was understandable because of what he's been through. So I wasn't mad or felt any type of way about how he was distancing himself from us a little.

After riding for maybe an hour or so, I arrived at the trap. This was our secret trap. It was outside of the city and not too far from where Yari and Bam new house was.

No one knew about it but us. Not even Glock or Mama Dee.

It upset me to see how hurt she was yesterday. She wasn't herself at all, she was just hurt to see that her son was becoming more and more like Dairia and his father.

We were all confused as to where it came from because at one point in time, Glock used to be one of the realest niggas we knew.

At first, it all didn't seem real but we got used to it and learned how to move without making shit suspicious. Even Mama Dee kept her distance from him.

She hated that things got this way and she wanted everything to go back to the way it used to be, but she knew shit happened for a reason. She was in denial but knew not to do anything to fuck up things even more.

I got out my car and watched my surroundings as I jogged to the entrance. I took out my key and unlocked the door before walking in.

Once I was in completely, I shut and locked the door behind me. I already knew everyone else was here.

"AYE!" I called out. I followed their voices to see that they were in the living room counting money and cleaning guns.

"So wassup?" I asked, sitting in between Ke and Mali. I could believe Ke was pregnant but Mali? Last person I would've ever expected to get pregnant, let alone keep the baby.

She hated kids. But maybe her own kids could change how she viewed a lot of shit. She was still fucked up from her dad leaving her and Darien but she had gotten better.

She was still iffy about a lot of shit though. "Glock shot Jb old house up." Blakk said.

I shook my head and huffed loudly. I was so confused and clueless as to why was he doing this. Jb told us bits and pieces of shit, but was still scared of some shit which was unusual.

He used to be laid back as fuck but was fearless, he wasn't scared of nobody. So I was kind of shocked that somebody ran him up outta the city.

"What the fuck is going on Jamari?" Ke questioned.

He huffed and shifted in his seat, we all noticed how uncomfortable he was but we needed to know what was going on.

"It's more to the story man.... him, Bobo, and Mazi was doing some snake shit together from way back. This was when Ke and Bobo was together. I caught em but told em I wasn't gone say shit but they ain't give a fuck. Like they was on some wipe every nigga out the game typeshi. So I got the fuck up outta Chicago. It's still shit ion know but them niggas was killing any and everybody that got in they way." He explained.

Everyone scrunched their faces up, and so did I because something wasn't adding up. "I thought Glock and Bobo ain't like each other." I said.

"They don't man–but Glock smart as fuck, he smarter than everybody in this hoe man. He know how to play both sides and shit. He gone end up offing Bobo after he get what he want, which is money and eventually, he gone off Mazi."

Out of no where, Mali broke down crying. It was the pregnancy hormones. I understand she felt a type of way because Glock was once her best friend and is her blood brother and shit has gotten real weird, but she would never break down in front of us like this.

"Come on mama," Blakk got up and helped her up out her seat. "We a catch up with y'all later, keep me posted tho." He said.

They left and we continued our conversation. "Did you know Bobo wasn't really Yari's brother?" Jb nodded his head in response.

"Yea.. I heard Bobo and Glock talking about it after that encounter at Joy house."

Both my mouth and Ke's mouth dropped. Boy this shit only get worst and worst.

"What were they saying?"

"All I heard was you know yari ain't my sister for real.. and I just zoned out because I was confused as fuck." He answered.

Glock probably knew that we were catching on so we would have to move smarter than him and act as if we know nothing.

"This is crazy as fuck." Keriah ran her hands down her face.

I couldn't wrap my head around some of this shit. "Aight man, I gotta get going." I got up.

Ke offered for Jb to stay with her and Cordae for the night and he took up on the opportunity and left with her.

I made my way to Cane's and got something for me and Harmony and made my way back home.

Once I arrived, I pulled into the driveway and got out my car with the food. I then locked my doors and made my way into the house.

"I'M HOME BAE," I yelled, shutting and locking the door behind me.

I followed her voice into our room and sat our food down on the dresser. She looked up from her phone and at me. "Baby you looked stressed." She pointed out.

I took my jacket off and threw it on one of the hooks on the back of the door. "Ian een gone lie to you, I am." I told her. She got up and grabbed the food off the dresser and sat back on the bed.

She placed the food in front of her and patted the space on the bed besides her. "Sit down bae, we can eat and you can tell me all about it...."

I laid in my bed and flipped through movies on Hulu. It honestly felt like I was still in the hospital. I couldn't do anything but eat, sleep, and watch TV.

I wanted to get up and interact with the world. I missed doing hair.

As minutes passed, Masiah walked into the room with Nooky following behind him. He had this frown on his face which made me sit up.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Glock..." He huffed, coming to sit next to me. Jasiah climbed onto the bed and crawled into my lap.

I screwed up my face. "What you mean?"

"Jb told Von nem everything and this shit not good. He knew bout Bobo not being yo brother because Bobo told him. He planned on wiping every nigga in Chicago that was big in the drug industry out so he could be the only one that was making money." He explained.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Bam, Blakk, and Von were big in the drug industry.... it was hard not to think like that but what if?

It's crazy as fuck to see how money change a nigga.

And him knowing about Bobo? Unbelievable. Glock and I actually had a bond. I talked to him about Bam and everything.

To know that he knew some shit like that and kept it from me hurts. He was supposed to he my brother.

"Are you serious?" I asked him. He nodded his head.

I sighed and shook my head in response. People and things were finally starting to show their true colors.

As me and Bam stared at each other, my phone began ringing. I picked it up from off the bed and looked at it, I didn't recognize the number.

"I don't know this number.." I told Bam.

"Answer it and put it on speaker." I did as told and waited for the person to say something.

"Hey.... is this Siyari?" The voice was very familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Yes, this is she."

"Hi, it's Shatavia. Your father's sister. You called my mother, Gloria a couple of months ago." She responded.

My eyes widened. I remembered who this was. "Oh, hey. Wassup?" I said. I was now confused because after all this time now you wanna call me?

"Hey, I heard about what happened to you and I wanted to check up on you." She exclaimed. I scrunched up my eyebrows and looked over at Masiah only to see him shrug his shoulders.

"How did you find out? Who told you?" I questioned.

"I've been trying to reach out ever since you called but I got no answers, I even tried telling you happy birthday–I remembered it was your birthday because we shared the same birthday." She started to explain. I felt my heart smile.

I thought they ain't give a fuck about me. "And his name, uh he told me something like Blue– no, he said his name was Black and Mild and not to ask nomo fucking questions." She added.

I couldn't help but to laugh. "Thank you, honestly. I really do appreciate you reaching out to make sure I'm okay. Just a little sore." I said.

She sighed in relief. "That's good to hear, but listen to me closely when I say this. Gloria, Tamika, and Rochelle doesn't have any good intentions in meeting you. They helped Joy kidnap you and do all them other things to your parents. I've been wanting to let you know this for the longest. If they reach out to you, do not respond at all. Please! I will catch up with you later, if you don't save my number, please memorize it and don't answer any unknown calls. Shit is about to get real hectic, I feel it. I wish you and your family the best, please be safe." And with that, she hung up.

Honestly, too much shit was going on for me. I didn't even know them–but all this shit might add up and connect.

"Mane what the fuck." Masiah huffed. I looked over at him and just stared, not knowing what to do.

A whole lotta whole lotta was going on at the moment. "So what we doing bae?" I asked him.

"Laying low for right now. Before we feed into any of this shit, you need to heal." He answered.

I nodded in agreement.
