Today Yari was coming home. Before she slipped into a coma, she was moving into a new home that only Mali and I knew about.
She didn't get to move into the home so I told Bam about the house. Her welcome home gift would be her stuff moved into the home.
We were going to have a little welcome home get together including all of us except Glock. Bam decided to distance his self from him because he didn't want anything happening to him, Yari, or Nooky.
It was still surprising to me that this was who Glock became.
I grew up with him, everything that's happening right now is so unexpected.
"KE." I heard Von loud ass. His ass always yelling. Him and Blakk were supposed to be helping me set up.
"I'm in here." I responded. He walked in with a nervous smile on his face so I scrunched my face up.
"Why is you looking like that?" I asked him.
I watched as he rubbed his sweaty palms down his pants. I've never seen him this nervous before. "Ok so I've been talking to somebody new." He said.
"Like you gotta girlfriend?" I asked with the biggest smile on my face.
He nodded in response. "Yea I just made her my girl."
"Then why you so anxious?"
"She's trans and I brought her here but I don't know if the niggas a act or feel a certain way. I don't care how they feel, I just don't want her to be put in an uncomfortable situation." He expressed.
I was shocked, extremely.
I see nothing wrong in him dating a trans, it just came as a surprise because he was the last person I expected to date a trans because he always seemed so immature.
To me, he used to seem so childish and ignorant along with Blakk but they both have grown up and changed.
"I'm so proud of you." I said. He smiled. "But in all honesty, I don't think no one who's coming would over react in any type of way to make her feel uncomfortable. What's her name?"
"Harmony. She 23." He answered.
I nodded. "Bring her in so I can meet her." I told him. He left the house and seconds later he came back.
The woman he came back in with was so pretty. "Hii, I'm Harmony." She introduced herself, extending her arm out for me to shake her hand but instead, I pulled her in for a hug.

"We do hugs round here girl," I told her. We both released from the hug as she laughed. "I'm Keriah though."
"Nice meeting you Keriah." She smiled.
Her and Von went and sat on the couch and began talking about random things. "That's his new girl?" Cordae came up and asked me.
I nodded my head. "And they serious too. Never seen him this serious with someone... ever." I told him, but I was more so saying it to myself because that's also a surprise.
Von hadn't been in a real relationship since high school. All he did was fuck people and hit the road, seeing him in something serious made me happy for him.
He deserved it.

"They on the way." Blakk said as we fixed up everything.
Mama Dee held Nooky on her hip and I shook my head. "Ma, he finna be two, put his ass down." I told her.
"Girl don't tell me what to do with my grand baby!" I playfully rolled my eyes and laughed.
Mali walked over to me, rubbing her almost 8 month pregnant stomach. I couldn't believe that her ass, out of all people, was pregnant.
She used to talk so much shit and say that she would never have children, now look, the first one pregnant out of the group.
She tried to keep it a secret from us but once she hit 5 and a half months, she began showing. "I can't believe yo ass is pregnant." I said in disbelief.
"I–"
"And then yo ass tried to keep it a secret." I mugged her.
"Becauseeeeeee," She dragged out. "It was supposed to be a surprise."
We should've known though. That day we found Bam, hints were thrown out.
Yari was so sad and happy when she found out Mali was pregnant. I felt bad too. Both of your friends are pregnant, and you found out that you couldn't have children right before you found out your other friend was pregnant.
I don't wanna make this about me, but if I was in her situation, I wouldn't have been able to handle any of this.
That just shows how much of a strong ass person she is.
At the moment, Yari wasn't ready for kids, but eventually she would've planned on having kids.
Yea, she has Jasiah but Yari ass wanted a couple of kids. She joked saying "fuck them kids" but she loved kids and couldn't wait to have and raise them.
"I just wish I was pregnant under different circumstances." Mali sighed.

I furrowed my eyebrow "Why?" I asked her earning a shrug from her. "Because she woke up and found out she couldn't have children and looked at us and seen we were pregnant. I know I shouldn't but I feel guilty as hell Ke." She exclaimed.
"I feel where you coming from because I feel the same way but this is something we can't control and couldn't have known about." I expressed to her.
She sighed and sat down. As she placed her her fist under her chin, Blakk let us know that Yari and Bam were here.
We cut the lights off and hid. The door opened and Bam walked in with his hands covering Yari's eyes.
"Masiah if I fall yo ass gone end up in the hospital just like I did." Yari told him.
I covered my mouth to keep from laughing. "Siyari don't even joke like that." His voice deepened.
"But I'm finna cut the lights on in 3..2..1.."
"WELCOME HOME." We all jumped up as he cut the lights on.
She placed her hand over her heart. "Guyssss..." She started to cry causing me to laugh. I missed her so much man.
"I feel like I just came home from jail." She said making us all laugh.
"Wait.... this is the house I was moving into before.." She began jumping up and down and started screaming.
She then jumped up on Bam and whispered something in his ear. "Chill." He laughed.
She so nasty.
"Y'all did this for meeee?" She questioned wiping her tears.
We all nodded and said yes. She raised her hands to her face and continued to cry. "I cantttttt." She sobbed.
"That ugly crying shit ain't it, Yari." Blakk scratched his neck. She wiped her tears and flicked him off.
"First of all.. fuck you." We laughed.
Afted she greeted us, she began to walk around the house. Her and Harmony even held a full blown conversation and hit it off.
Harmony was cool as fuck. She knew how to keep a conversation going and how to end one. She was different and way better than any other girl Von had ever messed with. She was good for him.

Mali, Blakk, Bam, and I sat down to the table in the dining room and sighed in relief. Today was a success.
"Y'all think she fuckin wit it?" Bam asked.
I nodded my head. "Her ass in love with it. And you know she'on even want much for real." I responded.
We caught up and talked, trying to keep things positive but everything went downhill when Mama Dee walked into the kitchen.
Every time we were all together she would bring up Glock. I understand she misses us all together and that that's her son but shit changed.
"Hey y'all." She sat at the table besides Bam. She was sitting across from Mali.
"Hey." We all responded except Mali.
She already knew what type time Ma was on and I'm already knowin she wasn't in the mood for the shit. This was hitting her and Bam the hardest.
Glock was her best friend and at times was the only person she could run to when things got hard for her.
"You not speaking, Maliyah?" Ma scrunched her face up.
Mali huffed before responding. "You gone start today with that shit?" She asked.
"Start with what shit Maliyah? The shit about Darien?" Ma questioned in response. Mali nodded her head.
"Yes Mali because y'all are doing him so wrong." She answered causing me to scrunch my face up.
"Y'all?" Blakk pursed her lips together.
Mali got up from her seat while rubbing her stomach. "I'm not doing this shit today." She pushed her chair in and left.
"Ma, not today. She don't need this type of stress at the moment." Blakk stood up as well and left the dining room.
I shook my head and sighed. "And what do you have to say?" I heard. I looked up and over into Mama Dee's direction.
"Me?" I pointed at myself. "Yes Keriah."
"Nothing... nothing at all." As I mumbled that, Cordae walked in and sat next to me.
"You gotta have something to say being that that's yo baby daddy."
Here she go with this petty shit. I'm not dealing with it at all. "We not finna do this today, Demera."
I pointed back and forth between us.
Every time I'm with Cordae, she wanna be petty and bring up how I'm carrying Glock's child and how it biologically isn't Cordae's as if that's going to change something.
"No, we gone do this today. Why you got thi–"
"Ma, chill. Today is supposed to be positive and about Yari coming home and you tryna make it about Glock. We can deal with this another day." Bam cut her off.
She got up out of her seat. "Fuck this." She slammed the chair into the table and left. Seconds later we heard the front door slam shut.
"I need a nap..."

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
