"Wake up, ma." Masiah said lightly shaking Siyari. She slowly opened her eyes with a mug on her face. She hated getting woken up out her sleep.
"Im fuck you up if yeen got a good ass reason for waking me up out my sleep." She muttered but it was loud enough for him to hear her.
"I do." He said.
"What is it?" She asked sitting up while rubbing her eyes.
"You finna ride wimme. Ima take you out for breakfast and then you gone meet some people." He said.
"What people?" She asked him.
"My people, now hurry the fuck up." He said leaving the room. She huffed before getting up. They were still at the house they all shared.
YO PEOPLEEE??
"I DONT HAVE NO CLOTHES!" She yelled walking into the bathroom.
"THEY ON THE SINK, LOOK." He said making sure to mock her from when she told him to look in the closet whenever he asked for a wash rag and a towel.
She rolled her eyes and seen that he put some of his clothes on the sink with a brand new pair of underwear.
She got naked and cut on the shower. She waited for it to heat up before getting in.
She had taken out her hair last night and was now just rocking it natural until she went home.
Her hair was in a messy bun. "HURRY UP 𝐊𝐀𝐘𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐄!" Masiah yelled.
Nigga done learned my fucking middle name and don't know how to stop fucking saying it.
She ignored him and began to wash her body while humming the lyrics to Another lifetime by Nao. That was another one of her favorite songs.
15 minutes later she finished and got out still humming the same song. She dried her self off and got dressed. She then did her morning routine before leaving the bathroom.
Once she walked out she seen Masiah laying on bed with his hand over his forehead. "You good?" Siyari asked him.
He slowly nodded his head sitting up. "You look so good in my clothes." He smiled.
Siyari turned around to hide her red cheeks.
"I got you blushing and shit." He smiled standing up.

A bitch ain't blushed in a hot ass minute.
"Shut up." She said rolling her eyes before turning back around. She walked to the bed and sat down so that she could put her socks on.
She was wearing black and read along with Bam. He purposely picked out those clothes for her because he wanted her to match him a bit while wearing his clothes.
"You not slick either, Masiah." Yari chuckled.
"What you talm bout?" He asked playing dumb.
She looked up and turned and started pointing at the both of their outfits. "Swear somebody wanna match you." He said looking off.
She chuckled. "Come on, im hungry." She said leaving the room. Bam cut off all the lights in the room before leaving and following after her.
"Where y'all going?" Von asked stuffing eggs in his mouth.
"Out." Masiah said as they walked out the door making their way to the car.
Von got up from the couch and ran to the front door. "MAN YOU STUPID BITCH!" Von yelled before slamming the door shut.
Siyari and Masiah got in the car and left.
"So where we going?" Siyari asked resting her arm on the car console.
"We gone go to waffle house, got to my mama nem house, and then we just gone ride around. I got otha lil shit to do too." He answered.
Its only been about 8 days and this nigga got me meeting his fucking mama... jees laweese.
"Oh, alright." She said.
Bam stopped at the red light and looked down at her seeing the cuts on the inside of her arm. They were all the way up her arm.
He frowned a bit before lifting his right arm and placing it on her arm.
He began gently and softly rubbing over the cuts, pulling off seeing that the light had turned green.
Siyari looked down and smiled. He made her feel good inside.

They got out the car and walked to the front door of mama dee house, and for some reason Siyari felt weird, she felt away she had never felt.
Fuck.. my stomach hurt. Hopefully ion gotta shit.
Bam unlocked the door with his key and walked right on in with Yari following behind him. "WHERE YOU AT MA?" Bam yelled.

"Masiah, don't be yelling in my house and shit." Demera slightly yelled from the kitchen. She put the macaroni and cheese in the oven and put the spoon in the sink.
That voice sound familiar as fuck.
As she turned around towards the entrance of the kitchen she seen Siyari and Masiah standing there. Her mouth dropped.
"Ms. Smith?" Siyari asked. Ms. smith was one of Siyari old teachers in 9th grade until she got fired along with another teacher for fighting students mothers.
She was Siyari's favorite teacher.
"Yariii." She excitedly dragged while walking towards her. They hugged for a bit and began talking.
Masiah cleared his throat. "Boy, what?" Mama dee asked.
"How y'all know each other?" He asked.
"I taught at her school when she was in 9th grade." Mama Dee answered.
He hummed in response.
"Y'all came to get something to eat? The food ain't done yet."
"Nah, we just came for her to meet u and shit. We a be back tonight though." Bam answered. Mama dee raised her eyebrows before smirking.
"What y'all got going on?" She asked.
"Nun for real." Siyari answered.
"Yet." Masiah mumbled low enough for no one to hear him.
"Tell Maliyah and Darien to bring they ass home tonight so that they can eat this food I made."
"Okay, but we finna head out, love you ma." Bam said kissing Demera on her forehead.
"Love you too, bye Siyari." She said winking at her. Siyari playfully rolled her eyes before hugging her goodbye.
They left the kitchen and on the way out, Dairia was coming in.
"Hey d-"
"Who dat?" She asked pointing at Yari. Yari scrunched up her face deciding not to say anything.
"Why you ask like that?" Bam asked.
"I just was wondering, damn." She said.
"Siyari.. that's who she is." Masiah answered.
"What happened to my friend Taymari?" She asked. Siyari looked down and chuckled.
Fuck you and taymari.
That was one of the reasons Maliyah didn't like Dairia. She'd be friends with people Maliyah was beefing with.
Masiah scrunched up his face at her wondering why she was being petty but he knew Yari wouldn't trip or be mad at him so he didn't think too hard on it.
"I'm not fuckin with ha." Bam blankly answered.
"Mhm... well y'all cute." She said looking between them.
"W-"
"Preciate it, come on Yari." Bam said taking Siyari by her hand and pulling her out the house. They walked to the car, got in, and pulled off.
"What's wrong?" Siyari asked him.
"Nun.. she just pissed me off with that." He said.
"Ian mad atcha." Siyari said.
"That ain't the point.. she was weird as hell for that." He said.
Siyari turned the radio and just leaned the seat back feeling herself about to go to sleep.
"You finna go to sleep on me? We still got other shit to do?" Masiah said mugging her.
"What the fuck else we gotta do, Masiah? You woke me up out my sleep before 12."
He laughed. "We going to the mall." He said.
She sat up and looked at him before looking down at her clothes. "Im going to the mall like this?" She asked pointing down at her clothes.
"Yeen goin there to impress nobody, shut up and go to sleep. I a wake you up when we get there."
-
"I'm hungry." Siyari said rubbing her stomach.
"You just ate." Bam said.
"That was a whole ass four hours ago." Siyari said leaving the store while bam followed after her.
"What you want?" Bam asked her.
"Ion even know.. prolly them big ass pizzas or some chic-fil-a." She answered.
They made it to the food court and decided they were going to get both- well yari got both. Bam only got chic-fil-a.
Once they got their food, they sat down and began eating and talking.
Masiah looked up and seen the third girl he fucked on a regular. He didn't mess with her like that anymore though.
"That's the third girl I told you about." He told Siyari. She looked up and looked in the direction of the girl.
"Oh, she's pretty. Way prettier than Taymari and Janae." Siyari said stuffing a fry in her mouth.
He chuckled. "This food so fucking good." She said.
"What's ha name again?"
"Keri."

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
