"Ion like this." Bam said pointing at Siyari's costume. "You're pissing me off." She told him as they waited outside the party for Ke, Mali, Blakk, Glock, Von, and Jb.

Siyari was not the person to fuck with when she was mad or not in the mood. If she was being extremely quiet, most times it was best yo ass left her alone.

Masiah licked his lips as his eyes roamed her body. "You dressed up as 12 so I can fuck you?" He asked.

Siyari laughed and rolled her eyes. Two cars pulled up besides them. She mugged the cars knowing it was the gang.

It was 9:52 and the party started at 8. "Black people always fucking late." She mumbled.

She backed into Bam causing him to look down there. "What you doing?" He asked her.

"I'm cold."

He wrapped his arms around her and rocked them side to side. This is the most protected she has ever felt.

They got out the car and walked towards them. "Ouuuu, what do we have here?" Blakk asked. Siyari rolled her eyes.

"I'm cold." She said. Blakk pressed his lips together not believing her. "If y'all wanted to fuck that's all y'all had to say, nasty asses." He said.

"Nigga shut up." Bam mumbled.

Siyari looked at their outfits and only Blakk, Ke, and Mali were dressed up. Ke was a devil, mali was a bunny, and Blakk was dressed as a black and mild.

"You look fucking stupid." Bam told Blakk. Blakk mugged him while lighting his black.

"Nigga named blakk dressed as a black smoking a black. It can't get no stupider than him." Mali said shaking her head.

"I dressed as a black so you can hit this." He said winking at Mali. Siyari chuckled.

"Blakk.. i'll beat the fuck outchu." Glock strait faced Blakk.

"Calm down dudeeee, I was just playing." He said, laughing which made him choke on the smoke.

"Y'all ready to go in?" Siyari asked. She didn't wanna be there anymore. Parties always gave her a bad feeling. She would feel sick to her stomach.

"Yea."

They walked to the entrance and Bam and Yari walked in before them. Siyari scrunched up her face at the smell.

One reason I don't fuck with parties.

"Stank as fuck up in this bitch.. gawd damn." Von said. They made their way to the couches.

The way the house was set up was their was the living room where everybody was dancing and talking, then the stairs. You went up 6 of them to get to the couches and then if you go up the rest you get to the second floor of the house.

Masiah pulled Siyari down on to his lap. "Y'all cute." Blakk winked. Siyari rolled her eyes.

Bam leaned forward and began to whisper in Siyari's ear, nothing serious though.

"You good? You a lil tensed up." Bam said.

"Im straight.. i'm just not feeing it." She responded.

"Lean back so I can wrap my arms around you." He said.

She leaned back and laid her head on his chest. He then wrapped his arms around her. They began talking about random stuff.

"BAM YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP!" Janae yelled coming over to where the were. "Oh god." Von sighed.

Siyari turned her head towards Janae and scrunched her face up. "Who dat?" She asked bam.

"A girl I fuck on from time to time, ion fuck with her like that no more." Masiah honestly answered. Siyari nodded not mad. She liked his honesty.

"Bitch.. get up off my nigga!" She yelled at Yari.

"Delusion at it's finest." Ke mumbled.

"Watch what you say, Janae." Masiah warned.

"Get up bitch.. I wanna fight." She told Siyari. Siyari hadn't been in a fight in some months and she was tryna keep it that way.

"I'm ready to go," Siyari said sitting up. "I'm not about to fight you." She added standing up. Janae sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes.

Bam stood up and pulled his pants up. "We finna head out." Bam said grabbing Siyari's hand. Janae stopped them by walking in front of Siyari.

"Can you move?" Siyari asked in the nicest way possible for her. She tried to avoid it but the girl wouldn't move.

"Siah.. get this bitch." Siyari warned. Masiah pulled Yari back and stepped in front of her. He felt the need to protect her at all cost.

"If Yari don't fight you, I will. Get the fuck on somewhere." Ke said standing up. Even though she just met Siyari, she was willing to knock a bitch head off behind her.

Same for Mali and vise versa between the three.

"I'm just waiting to shoot some shit up, y'all give me the word and i'm on it." Mali said.

Janae ignored them, reached over Masiah, and slapped Siyari. Siyari chuckled before using all her strength to push Masiah out of the way.

"Dayummmm Bam, she sent yo ass flying." Blakk laughed.

Siyari punched Janae in her face making Janae fall back onto the ground. Siyari stood over her punching her repeatedly taking some of her anger out on her.

She got up and stomped her out. By now there was a crowd formed around the fight. Ou's and Ah's were coming from every direction.

"Don't put yo hands on me." She mumbled as she continued punching her.

"Come on, Yari." Bam wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her away from Janae.

"I'll hit y'all up later, she a be straight." He said before carrying her out of the house.

"You good?" He asked as he put her down. They then walked to his car. "Yes." She mumbled.

She would go quiet when she had a lot on her mind or began to think about things she didn't want to think about.

"You sure?" Masiah asked, genuinely concerned. She nodded her head yes as he unlocked the door. They both got in the car and he pulled off.

She put a location in the GPS. "Go to that place." He said. He scrunched his face up before looking at her weirdly.

"What's there?" He asked.

"Just go there, please." She mumbled looking out the window.

Masiah followed after Siyari as she walked to the rocks she usually sat on to think and relieve stress. This place was well needed right now.

"What we doing here?" He asked looking around.

"You didn't have to follow me, I told you, you could go home." She answered.

"Ian wanna leave you." He said picking up his pace to catch up to her. She smiled.

Once she made it to the river side, she sat down on the rocks, took out her phone, and begin playing her favorite song on replay. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁 by 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆.

Masiah sat next to her not knowing what to do. "What you do out here?" He asked her.

"Think and be happy. This one of my happy places." She answered.

"What's yo other happy places?" He asked.

"My bathroom and my dreams."

He frowned a bit noticing she wasn't a happy person in general. "How long you usually be here?"

"Sometimes I be here for 15 minutes and sometimes I be here for hours. It all just depends on why I come here."

"Like?"

"Like if I wanna talk to my parents or get shit off my chest, i'll be here for hours just talking and smoking. But if its just to clear my mind and get a break from the world then only 15 to 30 minutes." She shrugged.

Masiah found an interest in her. "Yo parents died?"

"I don't know. I don't know them- but I guess is on how they look and I always feel like they're always with me."

"My parents dead, dead as fuck." He laughed. He laughed about the situation to keep from getting sad, angry, and breaking down.

"What happened to em?" She asked turning her head towards him.

"I killed em." Her mouth slightly fell open.

"Why?"

"They hurt me." He simply said, not wanting to go into detail. He felt like he could open up to her but he didn't want her to judge him.

"How?"

"They just did."

"Lay on my lap." She told him. He laid on her lap and she began rubbing his hair making sure not to mess up his waves.

"I was raped when I was 14. I never told anybody that but my aunty and she made jokes out of it. That broke me but I continued to try and try to make her love me the way she loved my brother. I was diagnosed with bipolar depression. They called me mentally ill and fucked up in the head. I got in a whole bunch of fights in high school.. I got cheated on by a nigga with a nigga and ain't been in a relationship since. That was my first and last relationship. I was so scared to be around men after I got raped but he showed me that I didn't have to be scared. I thought he was different, but he was far from that."

"I knew what he was doing but I stayed and let him do him because I felt like I needed somebody. I was scared of being alone.. I got attached easily, but my soul and heart had been left that relationship so it was easy for me to let him go. This was like in 10th grade and it lasted all the way to 11th grade."

"Its like once I hit middle school my whole life fell apart. That's when I started getting treated differently by my aunty and brother. They caused me to feel the way I feel today. I started cutting myself and smoking and I began to feel better. The physical pain I put myself through took away the emotional and mental pain they caused. Then I found this place... it brought me so much happiness and peace. I found myself here. I found this in 9th grade, after I got raped, but it took me a while to find myself. At the end of 11th grade I found my worth and just let what ever came, come, and whatever happened, happen." She finished.

Masiah sat up and looked at her with his eyes widened a bit. He wanted to cry knowing that she went through so much.

He was speechless. "You know who raped you?" He asked now growing angry.

"Yea.. like I remember how he look- i'll always remember how he look, but I don't know his name or anything like that. I never met him before that and I haven't seen him after that." She answered.

He nodded his head. "What's the nigga that cheated on you name?" He asked. Siyari chuckled.

"He gay now, I don't worry about him anymore."

"You really went through hell huh?" He asked.

"Yea."

"You need therapy Yari." He said. She shook her head.

"I don't feel comfortable opening up to strangers about my problems and what i've been though .. there's no point. Hell, im surprised I opened up to you." She responded.

"And if I need therapy than yo ass do too. You killed your parents and i'm sure there's a reason behind why you did that."

"They abused me... not whoop my ass type shit but like beat the fuck out of me with any and every object they could find. It started when I was 9 and it was just my "pops". Shit was an everyday thing.. ian never did shit for em to do me the way they did me. A nigga breathe and I was getting my ass beat.. my mama aint beat me then but she watched with joy and happiness in her eyes. 5 years later I got fed up with that shit and killed that man. Shit felt good as fuck but it ain't stop there."

"After I killed my pops, my moms started torturing my ass. Im talking burning me with her blacks and cigs, beating me with pots and shit, locking me in the room making me go days without eating, and shit like that. I found a gun and shot her 5 times and ran away." He laughed while tears fell. Siyari frowned wrapping her arm around him.

"I was homeless for 6 months before I met glock and he introduced me to the streets and shit and then a while after I met his fam and Ke and they took me in. When I got deeper into that shit I met the niggas, and them, Ke, Mali, and Dairia been my dawgs since." He added.

"Wow." Siyari said.

"You should express to yo mother and father and tell em how you feel." She said.

"How? They dead." He said wiping the rest of his tears.

"Go to their graves and just talk, make peace with it so you won't feel how you feel anymore." She said.

"They don't have a grave."

"Well go to your old house.. open up. Youn have to say shit about em or it after." She said.

"I'll think about it." He said.

"But damn .. we two broken motherfuckas." He laughed.

"Maybe we can fix each other." Siyari suggested.

Masiah smiled. "This yo favorite song?" He asked referring to the song that was playing.

"Yes." Siyari answered.

"You still sell drugs?" She asked.

"From time to time."

"That how you gone make yo money the rest of your time living?"

"Nah.. I wanted to be an engineer but only because they made a lot of money. I dropped out so ian gone be able to get a real job but over time I found out what I like to do. Cutting hair and shit. I wanna open up my own shop and give the lil niggas in the streets somewhere to hang and shit whenever shit going down." He said. Siyari smiled at the last part.

"You can get your GED. I wanna open up a shop too though. I like doing hair and cutting hair." Siyari said.

"Maybe we can open up a shop together." Bam thought. He didn't say it out loud because he thought it was too soon.

"Follow yo dreams then, believe in that shit. You a make it." He said.

They spent the rest of the night getting to know each other and enjoying each other's company.
