well, i've been dating lucas for a little over a month, volleyball season is over. sadly, but guess what. we won regionals! we're 3rd in the whole state too.

me, max, jane, lucas, dustin, will, and mike have been hanging out a lot recently. there hasn't been any drama lately and we've all been getting along. i've actually gotten really close with mike too. i've been doing well in school as well. i have all a's.

also, jane has superpowers?? max was telling me a story on how they spied on mike, will, and lucas through jane's mind. it was really cool. i didn't believe them at first until she showed me. honestly it was so fucking cool. like i'm best friends with someone that has powers? it can't get any better than that.

me and lucas are going on a date today! he's taking me to a fancy restaurant. he's picking me up at 5, it's 3:48 so i'm going to start getting ready.

i take a quick shower and brush my hair. i leave it down again of course. i then start my makeup. i decided to go with a natural look. i begin applying my makeup, i add a small amount of foundation and concealer. then i add highlighter, i do my eyeshadow then i put on mascara. after that i go to change.

once i get changed i hear a honk outside and know that lucas is here. i quickly spray purfume on myself and head outside.

i get into his car and we drive to the restaurant, it's called katelyn's diner.

we go inside and sit at a table.

"hello, i'm sierra and i'm your server for today, what would you guys like to drink?" she asks.

"f/d" i say.

"a water will be fine." lucas says.

"okay i'll have those right up." she says.

i look at the menu.

"what are you getting?" lucas asks.

"i don't know, maybe the f/f."

"ooo that sounds good." he says.

"what are you getting?" i ask.

"i'll just get the steak combo. it has potatoes and green beans with it." he says.

"that sounds good." i reply.

our server sierra comes to the table with our drinks.

"here's your f/c, and here's your water! are you two ready to order?" she asks.

"yes, i'll get the f/f dinner." i say.

"okay, and what about you?" she asks, looking at lucas.

"um i'll have the steak combo." he says.

"alright. i'll have those out shortly!" she says.

"thank you." me and lucas both say, handing her our menus.

"this place is really nice lucas." i say.

"i know, that's why i wanted to take you here." he says.

i smile. "you really didn't have to."

"yes i did, you're my girlfriend. you deserve it." he says.

i put my hand out on the table and he grabs it.

once sierra comes with our food. me and lucas both begin eating.

"this is so good." i say.

"yeah my food is good too." lucas says.

we continue eating, we talk about anything and everything.

once we finish our food, me and lucas just drive around hawkins with the windows down and blasting music. it was pretty fun.

after that lucas took me home, it was now 9 o'clock.

lucas walks me to my door. before i go inside, i stand kiss him.

"i love you." i say.

lucas smiles. "i love you too y/n."

he kisses me again and i walk inside, i go to my room and play music on my tv. i then go to my bathroom and take a shower. once i do that, i change into my pajamas, i brush my teeth and put my hair in a ponytail. i then get a call from a groupchat with me, max, and jane in it.

"hey guys!!" jane says.

"hey!" i say, smiling really big.

"why are you so happy?" max asks.

"well i went on a date with lucas today!" i say.

"aww that's so cute! what did you guys do?"

"we went to dinner and then we drove around town blasting music." i say.

"so that's the music i heard!" max says.

"yeah we drove past your house." i say, giggling.

"what else happened?" jane asks.

"well. i told him i loved him..." i say.

"did he say it back?" max asks.

"yes!" i say.

"oh my gosh y/n i'm so happy for you guys!" max says.

"me too, you guys are so cute." jane says.

"thank you guys!!" i say.

for the rest of the call, we just talked about a bunch of different stuff, boys, school, basically everything.

after about three hours of being on the phone, i got off and texted lucas.

then i read a little bit of my book and laid in bed, thinking of everything. lucas, max, jane, volleyball, will, mike, dustin, ashley, my mom, school, stephanie.

i love all of these people so much, they've all impacted my life in so many ways and honestly i don't know what i'd do without them. lucas is my first boyfriend, first kiss, first date, and first love. even though i haven't known max and jane for long, they've grown to become my best friends. and even though mike was a jerk, we've gotten closer and now we're friends. will has been absolutely amazing. and dustin has been dustin. funny, caring, and smart.

i hope i spend the rest of my life with these people.
