《In Review》The Hero From Vulture Gulch

Victorian dramas in America were cowboy shows set in the 1800's.

The movies had Victorian settings and furnishings.

The noble cowboy hero faces his problem head on and shoots it.

In short, that's all of it.

First he hears about the person of interest.

Then confronts this evil man, face to face.

The outcome...good over evil, always!

Noble cowboy is praised by the townsfolk.

And the sheriff wants him to be a deputy.

But, "no thanks", I'll just marry the wife of the guy I shot in the street.

I now have his wife, his horse and guns, his ranch, and have been offered the honor of being Grand Marshall of the Vulture Gulch County Parade and Rodeo on the 4th of July.

Then I received a letter from a journalist in San Francisco who wants to write my life story.

Victorians rely on confrontations to settle things quickly.

Wow! What results for shootin someone dead.

I sure wish they would bring back all this wonderful olden day wholesome programming, just like the one about "Killer Bill Diller From Vulture Gulch" (a lesson in justice?)

A 6-gun answer to problems, no question.

Epilog: This era, set American gun culture in stone. It prefaced what we see in our time. Guns are now like cigarettes, even if you are too young, you will get um easy enough. And, I don't think the genie wants to go back in the bottle.
