《Her House, My Rules》Chapter 23

The morning sun ate my lazy green eyes with a selfish light. The side of the bed was warm as summer, empty as the air. Hazel woke up early this morning and left. Last night was incredible. My pleasure was highly perfect. The last thing I remember was Hazel and me, cuddling with each other, naked. We fell asleep while we were talking about new things and challenges in life. The sex was amazing. She was my best victim. I never felt so connected with anyone and Hazel proved me wrong. Sex to me was always about pleasure.
.
It was more than that. Our connection was strong and different. She made me feel special and took care of my body as if it was her own. She was the best. The first girl who drove me crazy in my own bed. The first girl who translated my body in different languages. Hazel was definitely the girl of my dreams. She cursed me with her skills. I was under her spell.
I jumped in the warm shower as my toothbrush killed my bad germs with a refreshing flavor.
A few minutes flew by, I was already ready. My strong cologne contaminated the air with a satisfying smell. As I made my way to the kitchen, voices murmured from a distance. Unfamiliar tones were raping my ears with confusions. My presence was finally visible to their eyes. A happy family, eating breakfast together. The table was full of different choices.
The smell in their eyes was shady and cruel.
Hazel's grandfather, grandmother, cousins, aunts, uncles.
Mr. Dean and Mrs. Maria.
They were all sitting on the grand table. O' Boy! Did I feel weird? Hell yes. It was my temporary house but I felt like a stranger. Well, I was a stranger. I didn't know half of these people. The embarrassment under my veins was enough to explode my brain on fire. I welcomed them with a good morning in my respectful tone. I drove myself next to Hazel and sat next to her. Their eyes were like stickers, their eyes glued on me, selfishly.
Like, Grandma can you just stop staring at me with your big eyes? You're scaring me!
"You-must-be-Justin's son?" Hazel's Granpa approached me. His slow tone defined his old career on our young earth.
"Yes, Indeed." I agreed, nicely.
"Your father was a great man. He was an amazing kid, I raised him." His missing front teeth haunted my eyes with an unexpected view. "You have his green eyes. You remind me so much of him."

"Thank you, sir." My silent pain grew a little bit more. "He was the best father."
"Hawk? How was your night?" Mr. Dean tried to change the subject as he blew me away with his dangerous question.
Mr. Dean. I slept with your daughter last night. My night was great and thank you for asking. This is exactly how I wanted to answer him but I didn't want him to find out about anything. Hazel's family was right there and I didn't know how to behave like a real man. My intentions were selfish. I wanted to tell the whole world that Hazel Brown is the best girl I've ever tasted.
"My night was wonderful," I answered him, nervously. I kept thinking that he probably heard Hazel's deep moans last night in my bedroom. "How was yours?" I reversed the question to kill my suspicions.
"It was great, Hawk." He glanced at Hazel. "Sweetheart? How about you?" Hazel looked up and fixed his father straight in the eyes.
"Fine, Dad," Hazel answered, dryly.
Why was this man asking so many questions? Did he know that Hazel and I had sex last night? Why was he being so suspicious? Maybe it was my mind playing tricks. I was scared of the truth.
He proposed his attention to the rest of the family. He started to talk about old memories with his sisters and brothers.
Boring stories!
Hazel's hair was in a high ponytail. Her perfect makeup was on point. Her green dress was covered with colorful flowers. Her presence became an addiction. My feelings for her became stronger. At this point, It was hard to hide the truth in my eyes. I wanted Hazel. That was the dirty truth.
"You look amazing," I whispered in her ear as she faked a smile to prevent obvious clues. "Last night was perfect." I caressed her thighs under the table, gently.
"Have some respect, please." She said under her breath, firmly. "Can we have this conversation later?" She tried to chase me away with her words.
"Why did you leave?" I asked, annoyingly. "I'm the guy who made love to you last night. Your boyfriend." I paused. "In case you forgot."
"Can you keep your voice down? My parents are right in front of us." Her tone was fair and simple.
"So?" I disagreed. "Let's give them a show." My right hand traversed under her green dress to taste the flavor of her flower. She was breaking the rules.

"You're about to get me in big trouble." She tried to push my hand, slowly but I didn't want her to get away with her strong attitude.
"You broke my first rule," I whispered in her left ear as I pulled down her underwear slowly under the table with my hungry fingers. "Why are you wearing underwear around me?"
"Behave, Please." Her voice quivered by the pleasure between her legs, begging her throat not to let out deep moans in front of her parents. "You're tempting me." She pushed my fingers a little deep inside her vagina walls. She obviously didn't want me to stop but she had no choice. "Stop," Her slow breath was out of energy. "I beg of you."
"I'll punish you later." My tone was harsh and vengeful. I had to stop my bad intentions and focus on reality.
"Hazel?" One of her aunts interrupted our conversation, suddenly. "Why didn't you invite your boyfriend over?" I swallowed my saliva as I tried to keep it calm. "His name is Max. Right?"
"We... We..." She sighed, nervously. "We broke up."
"Oh, my darling! I'm so sorry." Her aunt tried to be on her side. "Why? He was such a gentleman. He was handsome, very handsome. You need to give yourself a last chance to think it through. I'm sure you and Max will be together again."
"I don't think so." She replied, silently.
"Aren't you single?"
"No, she's not." I interrupted as I tried to tell everyone about our relationship. "She's actually dating m-"
"Yes, I am single, Aunty." Hazel cut me off completely. "I'm waiting for the right guy. It's not easy to find someone who cares about you and loves you indefinitely. I'm sure my time will come."
Are you serious, Hazel? Are you serious?
Your time will come? You're waiting for the right guy? What am I to you, Hazel? A silly game?
I didn't know what to do anymore. Her words were sharp as a knife. Her tone was cold as Winter. Her mind was selfish as the rain on a special day. Her heart was in darkness. She was acting strange and was driving me insane.
"I'm sorry but I think I lost my appetite." I slowly pushed my chair away from the table as I headed straight to my bedroom. Hazel's presence was contagiously evil.
I just couldn't listen to Hazel anymore. She ruined my day. She broke my heart. It's like she didn't care about my feelings. She was thinking about her. I knew she had the right to do what she did because she didn't want to get in trouble with her parents but I never thought that it was going to cause that much pain on the inside. I wanted her to tell them that I was hers. I was the man who loved and cared about her. I wanted her to be proud to introduce me to her family but it was too late.
It was hurting like hell.
****
A sudden knock disturbed my peace from a distance. "Hazel, if you're here to apologize. I don't want to listen to your excuses anymore." I said, without turning back.
"Who's Hazel?" A familiar voice answered me instead. "Your girlfriend?"
. .
"Jessica?" I jumped from my bed as soon as my eyes laid on her. "What are you doing here? How do you know where I live? Why are you here?"
Questions after questions! My presence hated her with a passion.
"Aren't you happy to see me? My sweet little pie." Her devil laugh disturbed my positive vibe. "You're a strong handsome man now. Look at you." She chuckled, devilishly.
"Listen to me, Jessica!" I said under my breath, angrily. "!" I grabbed her by the arm as I tried to throw her outside my bedroom. "Leave this house! Right! Now!"
"Or what?" She faked a scary face. "You're going to call the cops on me again?"
"I don't want to see your face again. I hate you and I mean it." My voice trembled with anger as I tried to stay calm. I didn't want to lay a finger on her. After all, as a man, I have my limits.
"Your sweet little girlfriend." She rolled her eyes. "What's her name again?" Her petty tone refreshed the air with viruses. "Hazel, Isn't it?" Her voice warned my mind with bad intentions. "I hate her. I hate her because she has the man that I loved. You." Her sentence brought bad vibes into my head. "I'm just here to give you a little warning. You see how easy it was for me to get inside the house, your bedroom. This is how easy It's going to be when I destroy Hazel piece by piece." She shared an evil laugh. "When she knows the truth. She'll hate you forever. You and I both know what I'm talking about."
She drove herself out.
