.

Worst poison of love.

Hazel's pale face murdered my temper all the way. I was begging her mind not to think about Max. I was jealous of her thoughts, I wanted to be the only one on her mind. When I heard Max's name, I was pissed. I wanted her mouth to start moving and tell me details about what happened between them last night.

My eyes were judging her reaction dangerously. I wanted answers.

Jealous? Beyond that.

I was dying inside with jealousy. Hazel was driving me insane and I didn't know how to control myself anymore. I didn't know what to do with Hazel anymore. I didn't know if her answer did matter anymore. I was happy that she said yes to me but I was angry at the fact that she told me about Max.

Her ex-boyfriend.

Dirty and negative thoughts were ravaging my mind with a felony of anger. What happened between them? Did they have sex? Did they kiss each other? Who made the first step? Was that imbecile touching and caressing Hazel's skin?

Do you know that feeling when you're so jealous and you feel like kidnapping the person even if you know it's wrong? At that moment, I wanted Hazel to be under my control but my feelings for her were too strong. I just didn't have the courage to hurt the girl of my dreams.

I wouldn't like anyone to lay a finger on my baby, Hazel.

"Can you calm down, please?" Hazel begged as tears greeted her eyes, urgently. "I did see Max last night but..."

"Please, !" I broke down my words, angrily. "Hazel." I finished as her name was more like poison in my tongue.

"I can guarantee you that nothing happened last night. I was with him, yes but I didn't do anything with him." She caressed my face gently. "I promise."

"Did he try to kiss you?" I asked, impatiently. Begging my bad thoughts to stop torturing my head. "Did he or did he not?" My tone was firm and aggravated.

She sighed.

"Yes," She finally replied. "Yes, he did try." Her sentence missed a negative clue.

"What did you do?" I yelled. "Did you kiss him? Did he kiss you?" My questions burned my energy all of a sudden. "Answer my questions, Hazel."

"We didn't do anything, Hawk." Her face played a melody of honesty. "I swear, nothing happened." Her voice caressed my ears gently as she kissed me on the lips, unexpectedly.

.

"You're mine, Hazel," I whispered in her ears as I crashed her in with a desperate hug. "I believe you, Waffle. I believe you, Love." I assured her. "I just don't want you near that imbecile. It drives me crazy. Promise me that you won't try to see him again."

"I promise." I caressed her hair. "I'm all yours and I'm not going back to him." She promised, with no regrets in her eyes.

"Now." A smile played on my face. "Where were we?" My question flashed her mind with a decent desire. "I'm glad you enjoyed my breakfast, first of all." I dragged her on the bed as I continued with my flirtations. "Second of all, why do you look so gorgeous when you're sleeping?"

We both laughed.

"Thank you." Her blush sacrificed her cheeks with good terms. "Hawk?"

"Yes, Waffle." I teased her. "What is it, my love?" My affection towards her was powerful and exemplary.

"Why me? Her question was made with insecurities all over. "Why did you choose me as your girlfriend?"

Hazel, look at you.

Who wouldn't date you? You're so perfect in your own skin. You can drive any man crazy with that sexy body of yours. Can't you see that you have so much power over me? Can't you see that I care and like you? Do you think it's easy to just talk to you without getting nervous? Do you think it's fair that every time I'm kissing you, butterflies are crossing my veins dangerously? Why do you think I get so jealous whenever you're speaking about someone else? I can't stand the fact that you have someone else in your mind. I like you a lot, Hazel.

Sometimes I blame you. I can't get you out of my head, Waffle.

You must be blind, Hazel. You must be blind.

"There are so many reasons but there's only one thing I want to change about you." I showered her with a wet french hungry kiss.

"What's that?" She whispered between kisses as I choked her gently with so much desire in my eyes.

"That's your last name." She smiled as she flew her fingers through my hair, lovingly. "Did it hurt?"

"When I fell from heaven?" She examined my sentence as she responded with a common response and a contagious smile.

"No." I disagreed. "When you found out that I can cook better than your mother and you?"

"Funny." She laughed. "It didn't hurt at all." A lie tasted her tongue, negatively. "I've tasted better."

"Of course, you did." I pointed at myself. ""

"You're quite confident, Mr. Hawk." She stated, amusingly. "Can I borrow some of that confidence?"

"Anytime." I smiled. "But first, I need to teach you how to behave in front of a professional chef." My sentence blew her own cover with a positive impact. "On a scale of one to ten, how was my breakfast?"

"To be honest, it was great." She answered, nervously. "The waffles were my favorite."

"No, I'm not talking about your breakfast." I placed my right hand under her blue dress as I drove my cold fingers inside her underwear. " breakfast." I reminded her of my previous attack as she jumped by the movement of my two fingers inside her.

"uh..." She sighed with enjoyment. "You were perfect." She encouraged me as her voice satisfied with my skills, silently.

"There's a problem." I pulled her body close to mine as I navigated my fingers a little deeper into her ocean. "I'm still hungry..." I whispered in her ear as she begged her voice not to betray her.

"Hawk..."She let out a soft moan. "Why are you so good?" My fingers were really good. They were the descendants of God before Heaven. That's how magical and powerful they were.

A sudden knock captured our attention.

Why can't I please the woman I like in peace? Why is there always someone to soak my boat every time I'm in the middle of the ocean? Now that Hazel Brown was my girl. I was willing to sacrifice my life to make her the happiest girl alive. I wanted to pleasure her and actually learn how to trust her with my body. I wanted to make love to her so badly.

It was always something or someone disturbing my vibe.

Our vibe. Always.

"Darling." A voice clapped from outside. "Are you awake?"

Yes! She's awake Mr.Dean. She's with her man now.

Mr. Dean was the most annoying creature on earth. He was worse than a nosy bird. I just didn't know how to tell him to leave Hazel alone. I knew she was his daughter but I felt like he was just too protective. I wanted him to know that I was taking care of her and he didn't have to worry about her anymore but it wasn't my place, first of all.

As a young man, I understood my limits. I knew that he had to protect his daughter from bad guys like me but I just didn't want him to torture Hazel's mind by filling her head with lies.

Or maybe honest truths.

Careful Hazel, you might get hurt. Careful Hazel, bad boys ain't no good.

I didn't want to lose Hazel. I worked so hard to catch her attention and make her mine. Okay, maybe not that hard but I tried. I didn't want to lose her again and I didn't want to go home or prepare myself to live as the billionaire's son in another life.

A few weeks ago, this home was just a stranger's house. Now, I feel like If I leave, I might lose my home. My dear sweet home.

Hazel Brown.

"Hawk?"Hazel interrupted my thoughts with a sudden call. "Why are you so lost? I was talking to you." She exclaimed as I ignored her comment. "You don't have to be scared of my dad."

"I didn't hear you, Love." I rushed my words as I tried to hide my pain under my skin. "You have my full attention now."

"Were you floating in the clouds?" She joked around as she continued. "Basically my father is preparing a trip to Alaska. He wanted..."

"Hazel, no." I declined. "You can't leave."

"Hawk." Her voice calmed me down. "He wanted you to tag along. Were you even listening when he was just talking to me from outside?" Her tone refreshed my memory.

I didn't remember or hear anything.

"I'm sorry. I was just thinking about some things. I wasn't really paying attention." I told the truth. "Go on, babe."

Babe? Babe?

I wasn't perfect but I was trying to be the best. Girls love attention. Girls love when you call them princess, babe, sweetheart, love, baby girl, gorgeous and finally wife. So, I chose one of them. I wasn't expecting to be the best boyfriend but I was trying to make Hazel feel special, to make her feel like I was there for her in good and bad terms. Hazel was my happiness and I really didn't want her to get hurt or feel unhappy because of my actions or behavior.

I wanted to be better than Max.

Comparing.

Guys hate that. I hate that.

Sometimes, you just can't change the truth. Sometimes, a girl can make you feel like you're better than an ex but in reality, deep down, you know that you'll never be better. You can be better but it's just hard when you see that there are some things you can't really change about yourself. Whether it's your past, your pain, your trust issues, your life and also, your problems.

Everyone moves differently.

"What do you think, Babe?" Hazel's question woke me up from my thoughts again as I blamed myself now for not listening.

"I think it's a great idea." I started, confused. I had no idea what Hazel was asking me in the first place.

Girls talk so much. They never get tired.

"A great idea? You think so?" She replied, confused. "Do you really think I should shave my hair all the way?"

Oh. That was her question.

"God, no," I refused, amusingly. "I didn't mean to say that. It's a bad idea. It would look great on you but you have nice hair and I love it. You don't have to change yourself, Waffle. You're perfect." I tried to console the situation by putting positive energy into my words.

"So you think that If I cut my hair, I would be ugly to you." She argued. "You were not even listening to me. Are you that bored already?"

God! Oh, my holy heaven!

Why do girls always take the negative part of everything? I just told you that your hair is perfect, Hazel, my love. What else did you want me to tell you? That you should cut it. Well, it's your choice.

As a man, it's hard to ignore your girlfriend. It's like you don't want to listen, you have to pretend that you're a listener and you're also ready to share your opinion.

Dating is so stressful!

"So now, you're not going to say anything?" She asked, bothered. "You really don't care about me. You don't even want to listen to me anymore. What did I ever do to you?"

Should I apply my rules again? Should I?

Hazel! You just can't respect your own man!

"From now on, I know you're my girlfriend but my rules are stained in this relationship. I hope you remember all of them because I won't repeat them twice." I pushed her on the bed slowly as I pulled down her red underwear roughly and threw it in the air.
