After I bit Josh, my twin and I sped of to the Lycee where knew we would find Davina. My heart pounded from nervousness but there was also the pain of betray inside of me, spreading through my body and getting worse as we got closer to my Love. My stomach churned and I felt like I was going to throw up but it never came. Nik was holding on to Josh while I just followed the two.

Arriving at our destination, Nik threw Josh on the floor.

"Josh?" The witch I love questioned in concern while my twin and I waited outside.

"I'm sorry." The young vampire said, gasping for breath.

"What happened?" She asked him, her tone worried and concerned. My twin turns to me and gives me a nod, signaling that he is going in and I nod in acceptance.

"Joshua went and got himself a werewolf bite! Well, a hybrid bite, technically, but it will kill him just the same." My brother told her, answering the question that was directed at Josh.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked him and I can tell from her tone that she is furious. I take a deep breath and when I exhale, it comes out shakily. I'm going to need strength if I'm going to face the one person in the world that can make me do anything. Not even Nik can make me do anything. I put on the most neutral expression I could find and I went inside.

"I bit him so, technically, I did this." I say, announcing my presence. I looked Davina in the eyes and guilt along with betrayal flashed through them. My heart gave a pain full tug at the betrayal but it's the guilt that sets of my anger into a white hot rage but I kept ahold of my control because not matter how mad or angry I am, I will never forgive myself if I physically harm her.

"Well, I blame you! After all my overtures of friendship, you've once again sided with Marcel, forcing me to do horrible things to someone you care about." My twin tells Davina and glares at him, and Nik kneels down to look her in the eye as tears of hurt brimmed my eyes at his words but I refused to let them fall. "I'm not without mercy, Davina. I can cure him. But, you have to cooperate, and tell me where to find Marcel."

"Why? So you can kill him, too?" She spat and my heart gave a painful tug once more.

"Marcel set his path. Seems unfair that Josh should have to suffer for it." Nik told my Love but turned to me and quickly blinked, I returned it. Davina remains silent, so my brother gets up to leave and I get ready to follow him.

"Davina. Please." The young and currently dying vampire pleaded with her.

"He's at a warehouse at the docks! Thierry's place." She told us, her tone desperate.

"You see? That wasn't so hard, was it?" My brother asked retorically, a wicked grin on his face. He turns around and walks toward the door, me following him.

"What about Josh?" She asked us.

We both stopped and turned back to her but only Nik talked to her, "He'll live another twenty-four hours or so. I may need you, and Joshua serves as wonderful leverage. The next time I ask a question, answer quicker." And with that, he sped off to the docks.

"Why?" She asked and I know it was ment for me. My anger lit up even more and I turned to her. Her eyes widened at the fire in my eyes. I had always look at her with kind and soft eyes, she didn't know my angry side.

"You know why." I spat, to angry to care about hurting her feelings right now, she hurt me first. I sped of after my brother, leaving Davina with Josh, my heart breaking a little bit as I did so.

We called Elijah on our way to the docks and he agreed to meet us there. My twin and I arrive at the docks and Elijah arrives a couple of seconds after us. We greet each other silently and enter the warehouse. We find Jackson, who is bound to a chair and who was left with a black hood over his head. However, Marcel and Diego are both gone and I groaned in frustration. Jackson flinches when he's found by my twin, until he realizes he's being rescued.

My twin brother grabs Jackson's face in his hand saying, "Accolades to Marcel, he did quite a dance across the bridge of your nose. Where is he now?"

"You say the most flattering things, twinnie." I commented and he sent me and amused look. I look around Jackson and my eyes widened when I saw an explosive rigged to the legs of his chair, which is connected to a crate that has an even larger bomb based on the high levels of explosives my werewolf smell is picking up.

"Nowhere to be found." Elijah says, answering my twin's question about Marcel and I see him opening another crate with more explosives inside them. "Although, he did leave us a delightful parting gift." Elijah said in an almost sarcastic tone. "Sister, if you please." He said, gesturing to the bombs and I nodded. Normally I would make a comment about being ordered but this doesn't seem like the time, nor the place.

"On it." I said and sped to the nearest bomb, which happened to be the one tied to the werewolf's feet, kneeled down and began to inspect the explosives while listening to my siblings and Jackson's conversation.

"What about the stones?" Nik asked Jackson and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him.

"I don't know. Untie me, I'll help you find them!" The werewolf says frantically.

"Sit still! You'll be freed as soon as Aleksios deems it safe for you to move." My dark haired brother tells him sternly as the werewolf wriggles in the chair. I hear my brothers opens some more crates and I smell more explosives.

"Look, wolf boy," I said as I momentarily stopped looking at the explosives, making his head snap to me. "I promise you, I will get you out. You will make it home." I told him. "Okay?" I asked, raising an eyebrow and he nodded but I could see the doubt in his eyes.

"Jackson, you are going to be fine." Elijah told him, refering to my promise I just made but I don't think that the Alpha got the idea.

"Our focus should be the stones. Considering Jackson's competition for Hayley's affection, I think you'd agree." Nik commented, causing me to snicker as I started working to disarm the bomb.

"Disregard my brother. Over the course of the last millennium, his capacity for tact has somewhat diminished." Elijah tells the werewolf.

"Well, tact or not, Nik's right." I gave my own imput and I could feel Jackson's glare on my head. I look up to give him a smirk and he adverted his gaze.

"Well, that's typical, isn't it? Marcel fills a room with dynamite, and yet, I'm the tactless one." My twin says sourly and I shook my head with an amused expression on my face.

"I recognize these explosives from the attack on the Bayou. Could you remind me, again, why you believed that Marcel was innocent?" Elijah asked my brother and I shrugged to myself.

"Remind me to ask him before I pull out his innards." Nik answers Elijah and I snort.

"You wouldn't dare." I tell him, fiddling with the wires of the bomb.

"I wouldn't." He admits and I smile. I hear the openning of another crate and I smell more explosives and I groan.

"Perfect." I muttered as I looked for the right wire to pull, if I ripped of the wrong one, I could blow this whole place up and kill Jackson.

"Okay, exercise extreme caution in this general area. Bit of a mess." Nik tells us and I rolled my eyes. We should exercise extreme caution in every area. One wrong move, and this whole place blows.

"I'm really starting to regret that promise that I made Davina." I inform the three males around me.

"You're Lex Mikaelson, break it." Jackson suggests simply with a shrug and I look up at him.

"I may be ruthless and cold, but if there is one thing I will never do -unless my hand is forced- it's break a promise. No matter who the person may be." I tell him and he looks at me in surprise and I see that it finally clicks why Elijah said what he did earlier as I went back to looking at the bomb around his chair.

Elijah's phone rings and he answers it, "Impeccable timing."

I looked over at my twin an say, "Ten bucks says it's Hayley." He chuckles but nods anyways.

"What's going on?" Hayley's voice asked from the other end of the phone and my twin and I snickered in unison.

"Jackson is fine. He's...a little tied up right now. Can we call you back?" Elijah answered her and once again Nik and I chuckle but this time at Elijah's joke and I hear him flip open another crate.

"Just how much explosive are there in this place?" I asked to no one in particular as I smelled more bombs. I heard a clicking noise, I stood up and walked over to my twin. My eyes widen as I saw that the bombs have been triggered.

"Oh, that doesn't bode well." My blonde brother comments and I shot him a glare.

"Are you trying to kill us?" Jackson questions angrily.

"No, but if we don't get out of here now, those bombs will kill you." I tell the angry werewolf and his eyes widen.

"Elijah, tell me what's going on, now!" I hear Hayley's worried voice demand and Nik picks up the folded paper, as I watch him.

"This is for Thierry." He reads aloud in a whisper and my eyes widened. Realising we've been set up, Elijah quickly grabs Jackson as he and Nik vamp-speed away as quickly as they can, me staying behind them and making sure that they all get out. I'm almost outside when the bombs explode and I feel a burning white hot pain hit my back, something imbed itself in my heart before my vision went black and I fell to the wearhouse floor.
