《HER LOVE • davina claire》56 | DIAGNOSIS: LOVE SICK
Advertisement
"Good morning." I greet my brothers in a cheery and happy voice as I enter the study with a cup of coffee in my hands, smiling so wide that my cheeks was hurting but I couldn't get the smile of my face.
"Are you sick?" My twin brother blurts out and I turn to him, my smile not wavering once.
"I am sick. Love sick, twinnie, love sick." I tell him with a happy sigh.
"Let me guess, Davina?" My oldest living brother suggests and my eyes lit up ever more as I nodded.
"Yes, Davina." I confirm and my eyes widen. "Speaking of, I have to go before she wakes up and she thinks I ran away from her." I add on, giving my twin my coffee and leaving the study as I did so, but I listened in on my brothers conversation as I did.
"I don't think I've ever seen her this happy." Elijah comments.
"Of course you haven't, she's never been in love before." Nik tells our brother, his tone happy. "Or had a girlfriend before." He added on as an after thought.
"And why are you so happy about it?" My dark haired brother asks my blonde brother.
"Because my twin is happy." He answers simply and my grin gets even bigger as I enter my room.
I see my Love is still laying in my bed and I get back in beside her. She immediately moves closer to me and snuggles into my warmth and I wrap and arm around her waist, placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"Morning, Aleksios." I hear her voice greet me after a while and I immediately smile at her.
"Good morning, love." I say, looking down at her. She leans up and puckers her lips and getting the message, I lean down to I kiss her. There was sparks, passion and love in the air around us as our lips moved in sync. After our kiss, she layed head back on my chest and we layed there, just content with each other as I trace her bare back with my fingertips.
"There's a war coming." I tell her and she sighs sadly.
"I know." She says, her tone matching her sigh. We fell into a silence one more, just basking in the presence of the other.
"I want you to promise me something." I said after a while of silence and she turns her head to me.
"Anything." She responds immediately.
"No matter how crazy it gets, we'll make our way back to each other. No matter how many lines are drawn between us, we'll continue to fight for each other." I say and a bright smile lights her face.

"I promise." She tells me and reaches up to kiss me. It was a good thing that I was laying down or my knees would have given in. I don't think I'll ever get used to kissing her or the feelings that comes with kissing her.
"Forever?" I hesitantly asked when we broke apart.
"Forever and a day." She replied, and I grinned to the point I thought that my face will split and for the third time that morning, I kissed the girl that I love with all I have inside of me.
"I have to get back to the Lycee." She tells me as she reluctantly pulled away from our kiss and I groaned loudly.
"Can't I convince you to stay?" I ask her, my voice having a low, suductive and sultry tone to it and I see her eyes darken with lust and want.
"Yeah, you can. But please don't." Davina tells me, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. I groan loudly as she wiggles herself out of my grip and takes the bed sheet with her.
"You know, love, you don't have to hide your body. I've already seen it. All of it. And it truly is a wonderful sight." I tell her honestly but there is an amused streak in my tone that sends a deep red blush to her cheeks. She doesn't answer me, instead she just enters my bathroom and locks the door behind her.
That still didn't wipe the cheeky smile of my face.

After she took a shower, I took Davina home and I went back to the compound. It is now a few hours later and I'm feeling the urge to paint something and I was about to start when my twin barged into my room.
"We have a problem." At his worried tone, I immediately became alarmed.
"What is it, Nik?" I asked him, my tone now worried as well.
"Where is your girlfriend?" He asked and I'm taken aback by the venom in his tone when he says 'girlfriend'.
"I took her back to the witches hours ago. Why?"
"Well it would see that she has taken it upon herself to help Marcel hide himself from me." My blonde brother tells me and my eyes widen in surprise and disbelief.
"No, she wouldn't do that." I told him, my tone firm and serious as I shook my head, 'no' but there is also desperation in my tone.
"Who else would aide Marcel in an attack against me by providing him with an cloaking spell?" He asked me softly, catching on to the desperation. I didn't want to believe it, not after what we promised each other this morning but my brother is right. No other witch in the city would help Marcel in an attack against my brother. Not unless they're suisidal.

"What are we going to do?" I asked him and he grinned. I love her, I really do but she went against my family and I won't pardon anyone for that. Not even her. But see as I can't kill her and I don't want to either, I am going to have help my twin brother with whatever plan he comes up with.
"Well she doesn't have much weaknesses except for you, and I'd never hurt you, but she does have a best friend that she'd do anything for." He tells me knowingly and I grin at him knowing exactly who he is talking about. Josh.

After our conversation, we left the compound and we are currently scaling the rooftops of various buildings in the French Quarter, looking for my Love's best friend, when Elijah calls us.
"Yes, brother, what is it?" Nik asked as he picked up his phone, his tone rather impatient and I listened in but continued looking around the roofs, hoping to spot Josh. I really didn't want to do this, and I know I promised I'd never do anything to hurt her but she hurt me by helping Marcel. It may sound stupid, but she knows how high I value my family but she went ahead and did it anyways.
"It appears our wolves have gone astray, brother." Elijah states the obvious and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, we know." I tell my eldest brother in a blunt tone.
"They should have been back hours ago." Hayley suddenly cuts in and my eyes widened slightly at the worry in her voice. This worry isn't good for her or the baby.
"We need to find them." Elijah interupts the werewolf and I grit my teeth in annoyance.
"No, we were planing on letting them figure it out by themselves, and if they die, to hell with it." I say in a sarcastic tone and my twin snorts in amusement while Elijah doesn't comment, knowing that if I'm this sarcastic, I'm either annoyed or pissed and neither is good options. Right now though, I'm mad but I'm not sure at who. My Love? Marcel? Or myself?
A thought suddenly hits me and I say, "Hello Hayley." I greet the pregnant werewolf, interupting the conversation and she greeted back as my two brothers continued to bicker back and forth.
"Well, that might be a bit tricky. You see, we've located their car on a back road in the middle of nowhere. I suspect they've been shanghai'd." My blonde brother tells my dark haired one.
"And you two didn't feel the need to share this information?" Elijah asks in a accusatory tone.
"I don't appreciate your tone very much, Elijah." I tell him. "And as to answer you question," I turn to my twin and I give him a nod.
"It was our intention to present you with a problem only after wet had found an appropriate solution." Nik's tone was irretated.
"Do enlighten us."
"I'm closing in on it as we speak. The only person who would be bold enough to snatch my wolf allies is the one who has the most to lose." Nik told Elijah and Hayley.
"And who knows that we can't kill him." I added, my tone bitter. I tend to get like that when people that I love betray me. Technically she betrayed my twin but in my eyes, it's the same. We're a package deal.
Elijah sighed, "Marcel."
"No, he'll kill them!" Hayley says, clearly scared by the new revelation.
"Call down, madam preggers, no need to let your blood presure rise." I scold her, making her quiet down.
"Genevieve assures me that Marcel has procured a cloaking spell. The only witch who will aid Marcel is Davina. I just need to get one last bit of leverage, seeing as Lexie will never forgive me if I hurt or kill her, before we pay her a visit." My twin says and I smile, even now he still puts me above his plans and plottings. From the rooftop we are currently on, Nik and I look down below and we watch as Josh carries a duffle bag to his car that is parked on the street. Josh pops the trunk to his car to put away his stuff. I look at my twin and I nod at him.
"And there it is." My twin says and hangs up on Elijah. We jump down behind Josh, which startles him and he turns around.
"Hello, Joshua." My twin and I say in unison. I grab Josh and bite him on the neck before Josh can react, taking my anger out on him.

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.
