Aleksios P.O.V:
Staring at her, I could have sworn all the oxygen left my body because in this moment I couldn't think, I couldn't breath and I couldn't form any coherent words. My entire body went rigid and my vision started to blurr, but still I couldn't regain function over my body or brain. Pinned down by the fact that I'm staring at the girl that I'm so head over heels in love with. And she's alive. Heartbeating, eyes shining with tears - just like mine, looking pale and fearful but at the same time their is this wave of emotion on her face as we just stood there, staring at each other. Afraid that if we move or blink, the other will dissapear. I don't know how much time passed as we stared at each other but I do know I won't give it up for anything in the world. Not even my twin.
"Aleksios?" She asked in a questioning tone, her voice raspy and small. And as if that was all my brain needed to hear, I shot forward and wrapped her up in a hug, which she gladly returned. We clung to one another as if we needed the other to survive through this moment. But I also realised, I don't need her just for this moment or today or tomorrow. No, I need her forever.
"Love, oh God. Don't ever do that to me again." I state breathlessly, hugging her tighter but not to tight. I feel a tear drop hit my shoulder and my own starts to follow. But this time, it's not tears of sadness or heartbreak, it's tears of happiness. Happy that I've been reunited with my Love. When I hear her giggle, I couldn't help but giggle as well. I missed her giggles and laughs so much. I pull away - keeping ahold of her hands, not being able to break physical contact with her - needing to see that stunning smile of hers. She doesn't dissapoint as there is a grin on her face, happy tears rolling down her cheeks and I don't need to look in a mirror to know that I have the exact same expression on my face.
"I missed you too." She tells me and my grin gets wider.
"I missed you the most." I tell her. "Don't even argue, you'll lose." I add on when she opens her mouth to objects. She only pouts in response and before I could stop myself I reached forward and I kissed her. I pulled away like I was burned by fire and looked at her with an apologetic.

"I am so sorry, love. I shouldn't have done that." I tell her and before either of us can say anything else, a voice says something.
"Do you still want me to call Cami?" Marcel questions. I turn to him and let out a growl as I glare at him but I'm immediately calm down when a body steps infront of me, arms wrapping around my waist, hugging me closely, resting her head on my chest, above my breasts. I wrap my arms around her in return.
"Don't fight. Please." Davina pleads softly and my glare vanishes. Sighing, I nod in agreement as I tilt my head and I rest it on her head.
"Okay, for you." I tell her, still looking at Marcel and his eyes widen to a point where it would have been recommended that he sees a doctor if he was human. My phone rings and I unwrap my arms from her to retrieve the object from my back pocket. Davina goes to step away from me but I wrap an arm around her shoulders, shaking my head 'no'. She gives me a grin
and wraps her arms around my waist once again and I return the smile as I pick up the phone.
"We are holding a trail for Rebekah's life. Want to come? Oh and you're on speaker phone." I hear my twins voice ask on the other end and I have to bite my lip from laughing at Davina's expression when she hears his voice. She scrunched up her nose like the air has an unpleasant odour and I place a kiss on her temple, causing the expression to fade and be replaced with a much preferred smile.
Then I remembered my brother's words and my expression darken and my eyes flickered to Marcel who had a pleading look on his face. Torn between the girl I love, whom I just got back and the trail of my sisters life. Knowing Elijah won't let anything happen to my twin or my sister, I make my decision.
"No. I'm busy." I declare and apparently this was the wrong answer as the little witch lifted her one arm and hit me on the arm that is holding the phone. I look down and she shakes her head.
"But my vote is for her to live." I add on looking at my Love as I did and she nods in approval, giving me a smile. Glancing at Marcel I see that he tell out a breath of relief.
"Alright." Nik tells me.
"What could possibly be more important than your sister's life?" Elijah asks me, in an disapproving tone, and I look at Davina for permission to tell them and when she nods, I put the phone to her ear. Shaking her head with wide eyes and pushing my arms away, I let out a laugh.

"Is she laughing?" I hear Rebekah's voice ask, disbelief coating her tone.
"No, that can't be right." Elijah says and I smile.
"Unless..." I hear Nik voice say, trailing off.
"Davina's back." We say in unison and I grin as I look down at said person.
"I'll talk to you later, twin. Make the right choice. Not the one you think is right." I tell him and i hang up before he can postpone any further. I put the phone back in my pocket.
"Yes, I want you to call Cami. I want to see her." The small witch mumbles, my one arm still wrapped around her.
"Want to go and wait in the attic?" I ask her as we pull apart. She grabs my one hand and looks at me.
"Yeah." Davina answers with a nod and a smile. She looks at me with a shy expression before asking: "Will you speed me up there?" There is excitement in her eyes and she is almost bouncing on the heels.
"Sure." I tell her and her smile widens as Marcel huffs.
"Problem?" I ask sharply, raising an eyebrow. Davina tightens her grips on my hand but I just gave her an reassuring smile.
"I just wonder how you do it? I have tried everything to make her smile and here you say one sentance and she smiles and giggles." He says confused.
"I'm special." I inform him, feeling smug.
"Lets go upstairs and Marcel can call Cami." Davina says and tugs me by the hand and Marcel speeds off. I scoop her up bridal style and speed to the attic. She giggles as I set her down. She looks around the attic and the back to me. The newly ressurected witch glanced at my lips and I pulled my hand away from hers and I took a step back.
"We can't." I tell her, knowing what she wants. I want it to but is to soon.
"Why?" The beauty asks me but it comes out more of a whine than a question. I surpress an smile at her tone and instead I settle on a sigh.
"Believe me, love, I really want to but you just came back from the dead." I tell her, stating the obvious and she rolls her eyes and takes a step towards me. I try to take a step back from her but she narrows her eyes at me and grabs me by the wrist gently.
"Don't walk away from me." She says softly, a look of hurt in her eyes. "I don't like it." She adds on and I give her an understanding smile as I step closer and I take her hand.
"I don't care about the fact that I just came back from the dead, what I care about is you. And the fact that all I wanted to do on the other side is come back and kiss you again. I promised myself that I would kiss you when I came back." Davina tells me and before I could object, she stands on her tipytoes, grabs my arms, and crashes her lips to mine and any sort of control I once had, flew out the window. This kiss is different than out first one. I kiss her back with the same amount of passion and fire. The skin where her hands are is burning from the sparks that is erupting and as my head starts to spin, I place my hands on her waist and she wraps her hands around my neck. I forget about everything as I lose myself in the girl that is Davina Claire: Her fast beating heart, her hands that is tangling themselves in my hair, her heavenly scent of strawberries and cream. Just me and her, the two of us - reunited. Not just by physical means but by soul. Two halves of one soul, coming together and forming one once again.
The pain that I've been carrying with me, dissapearing as we continued to kiss.
"Oh my god." The high pitched exclamation is what breaks our kiss. Jumping apart like two kids who got caught doing something they shouldn't. I don't immediately look at them, first I look at the girl who just kissed me senseless and when I saw her, I'm sure I returned the favor. Swollen lips, cheeks flushed and eyes cast down to the floor, or anywhere but the person at the door. I wrap and arm around her shoulders and Davina gives me a small smile. I look at the cluprit and I see a familiar blonde and Marcel.
"I can come back." She tells us, eyes wide.
"N-no, we're done." Davina stops her, stuttering lightly and I huff and say:
"For now."

He runs the underground. She’s made it her playground. Their time together--the stuff of pulp fiction. When a corrupt corporate conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, they blast back with their offbeat brand of crime and chaos. This story is just one from the pulps. Film critic Roger Ebert once described them as ‘cheap, disposable entertainment that you could take to work with you, and roll up and stick in your back pocket.’ So do just that--and read it on the weekend. Bon Week-end is a novel written in the tradition of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s neo-polar, existing now as what shall be known as the neo-serial. This is Nippoten’s second serial following the superhero epic Entirely Presenting You. This novel will have a rather unique release schedule compared to others.
