Aleksios P.O.V:
"Lexie!" I hear my twin brother shout. Groaning I get up from Davina's bed.
"Sorry, love, I have to go." I say to her and she looks at me with pleading eyes.
Okay, so here's what happened after we kissed. We were smiling like idiots and then she yawned so I told her to lay down and that's when she asked me to lay down with her. So I did.
"What?" I ask as I sped into the study.
"It's taken one thousand years, but you've finally gone mad. Our own mother?" Bekah says rolling her eyes.
"Yes, our beloved mother, who Niklaus has affectionately placed in a coffin in his basement-- not daggered, but quite dead." Elijah says and this time I roll my eyes.
"Well, she did try to kill us all." My twin defends and I grin.
"Okay, wait, I'm lost. What are you on about?" I ask them confused, not sure exactly what their on about. Only that it has something to do with our mother.
"Elijah got the bonkers idea to concecrate our mother so that Sohpie has enough power to do the harvest." My sister explains to me shortly.
"That is a crazy plan. You do realise our mother will live in the ancestral plane if you concecrate her, right?" I ask them and they look a little alarmed at my revelation.
"Well, I say we put her to use and put her to rest once and for all. Now if we bury our mother on land owned by one of her descendants, she becomes a New Orleans witch, and we, as her family, share in that ancestral magic." Elijah says clearing his throat and I glare at him.
"We're vampires, Elijah. We can't practice magic. Or own property, for that matter." Bekah reminds him and I nod.
"Yes. With regard to practicing magic that's where Sophie comes in. After we bury our mother, we can channel all our mother's power to Sophie. Only problem is, as conduits of Esther's magic, we need to participate in the Harvest." Elijah says and my anger flares.
"And, as for owning property, not all of our mother's descendants are dead..." Elijah trails off and realisation dawns on me.
"The baby." Nik and I say in unison, surprised.
"The baby. The parish Tax Assessor's office is just steps outside of the Quarter. Hayley now holds the title to the plantation. So, if we bury our mother there, and we consecrate those grounds, we can finish the Harvest ritual." Elijah concludes his argument.
"You're a bit of a mad genius, Elijah. Count me in." Nik says and I glare, feeling my glare he quickly adds on: "If Lexie is okay with it."
"Am I the only one thinking? Our mother was the most powerful witch in history. If we bury her, we hand that power to our enemies to use against us." Rebekah says and I nod again.
"Bekah's right. Our mother's power is unrivaled as far as we know, it can be destructive in the wrong hands." I agree with my sister and they all look a little surprised.
"Given our circumstances, I hardly see that we have a choice, Rebekah. And Lexie, I know you don't want anything to happen to Davina but you have to be realistic here. If she doesn't die, everyone else will. It's a sacrifice for the greater good." Elijah says in a monotone voice.

"Elijah that's, enough!" Nik yells and walk over to Elijah and I slap him. Hard. I feel a tear roll down my cheek but I'm to mad to care. I walk over to my twin and he takes my hand and gives it a squeeze, letting me know he's there for me.
Bekah sighs in frustration. "I don't know why I bother. You will just do what you want anyway. And Nik will do what Lexie decides."
"No. Our decision must be unanimous." Elijah denies her claim.
"This is not a democracy." Nik says but I know if push comes to shove, he'll stand by my side, just like I'll stand by his.
"You're quite right. This is family." Elijah says and we stop talking when we hear the sound of a powerful rain storm that is pouring down on the house and I swore under my breath.
I speed upstairs and I see her lying on the bed, eyes fluttering I exhaustion.
"Love, it's all right." I say as I sit down besides her and I pull her to me but the rain doesn't stop and I grow worried. She grips me tightly as I stand up again.
"I'll be back, I promise." I promise in a worried tone and I speed back downstairs.
"Water. The next sign's begun. Rebekah? Lexie?" Elijah says as I enter the study again.
"Kill a demon today, face the devil tomorrow. Count me in." Bekah agrees.
Nik smirks. "Well, this is no family reunion without our mother. I'll fetch her. That is if Lexie agrees." Nik says and all eyes falls to me.
(Start listening to Jess Glynne, Take me home.)
They really expect me to agree to something that could kill Davina. My eyes fills with tears as I think about it. Davina will be dead. And She might not come back. And at that thought tears spill. Nik comes towards me and wraps me in a hugs which I return.
I pull out of his embrace after a while and I nod with words still falling from my eyes. I speed back upstair to see her asleep and the storm has died down.
I take off my shoes and jacket and I lay down. I wrap her in my arms and she cuddles into me. I breath in her calming scent of strawberries and cream that I've grown used to over these last few weeks.
There is a chance she might not come back to me. She might stay dead forever. Forever for an immortal hybrid is a long time. My heart pains and I struggle to breath. I shoot out of the bed and I place my hand on knees as I turn to breath, but I can't. Tears are flowing from my eyes and I feel like I suffocating.
"Nik." I try to yell but it comes out a whisper.
"Lexie!" I hear him yell not a second later as he sees my condition.
"Breath!" He commands pulling me up and rubs up and down my arms.
"I...can't." I choke out as I continue to struggle for breath and the tears continue to fall. He picks me up bridal style and hugs me to his chest and he speeds out of the room. Away from Davina.
"No...I...i...need...her." I choke out weakly as I struggle to break out of his embrace but he toghtens his grip and sits down on something.
"Elijah!" I hear him yell out in a panicked voice as he rubs up and down my back.

"Brother, is shouting really neces-" My eldest brother starts but cuts himself off as he see me.
"What is wrong with her?" He asks in a panicked voice as well, coming into vision as he couches down to us.
"I don't know. That's why I called you." My twin snaps at him as I slowly start to calm down.
"Well whatever your doing, continue doing it, it's working." Elijah says, referring to my breathing that's slowly going back to normal.
"What is her symptoms?" I hear Elijah asks Nik seriously.
"She was crying and struggling to breath and she was standing with her hands on her knees." Nik answers him rather than making a snappy comment.
"In all my years..." Elijah whispers and I feel my twin tense as my breathing slows even more.
"What? What is it Elijah? What is wrong with her?" Nik asks panicked and impatient.
"She's having a panic attack." Elijah tell him. What?
"Impossible, she's a vampire." Nik denies his claim.
"Yes, but she's also half werewolf meaning human. That makes here vulnerable to them." Elijah makes his case.
My breathing finally calms down and I try to sit up but I'm exhausted.
"Blood." I mutter weakly and I hear Elijah whooshing away. A couple of seconds later I smell blood and I feel my veins pop. Elijah hands me a blood bag and I down it and then another. After two bloodbags I feel my strength is returned. I get out of Nik's embrace and I stand up.
"Lexie, what happened?" My twin asks me worriedly.
"I don't want to talk about it." I reply softly.
"Okay." He says and I leave the room. Outside Davina's room I see Davina is crying as Marcel holds her in his arms. Marcel looks absolutely devastated, and Davina looks scared but determined.
My brave girl.
I decide to give them some alone time and I sit in my room listening in on their conversation.
"Marcel, it's okay." She tries to a sure him but I know it won't work.
"No. I failed you." He says in a broken tone.
"I'll die whether I do this or not. I mean, now the only option is-- is whether I take everyone with me. If you look at it that way, it's kind of selfish not to do it." She says and a tear rolls down my cheek. She is so unselfish and ready to sacrifice herself. I would swap places with her in a heartbeat if I could.
"There has to be another way. This is not how it ends." Marcel tells her and I can hear the emotion in his voice.
"And if it is... If this is all I have, I've had a lot. I had Monique, and I had Tim, and I had someone who fought for me from the moment you met me and I have Aleksios whose protected me all she can with everything she has." She says and I can just see the small smile on her face. And the tears pour out uncontrollably.
"Aw, Davina." Marcel says and I can hear he is near tears.
"Most people don't get that even if they live to be a hundred. Marcel, I'm ready." She says and I speed to her room.
"I'm not ready." I admit in a whisper. Both their heads snaps to me and they both look at me in surprise.
"I'll give you two some time." Marcel says and leaves the room.
"Love..." I say in a voice thick with emotion, tears falling freely.
"Aleksios." She breaths out with just as much emotion in her voice.
I speed to her wrap her in a hug and I feel the tears drip on my shoulders and my starts falling more. I hold her tightly as does she, we hold one another as if we're each others lifeline.
"I need to says something." She starts and I cut her off.
"No." I says sternly. "It's going to work. It has to." I tell her confidently but we both knew different.
"If it doesn't. I need you to know how happy you've made me, Aleksios Mikaelson. We may not have known each other of a long time but it somehow feels like I've known you forever. When you smiled, you lit up my world. You believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. And I can never thank you enough for that but thank you anyway." She says and tears falls from both our cheeks like rivers.
"Well, you, Davina Claire, are welcome. But thank you as well. Thank you for the little bit of light you brought into my very dark existence. Thank you for making me smile like there's no tomorrow. Thank you for making life a little better. Thank you for being you." I say to her and she looks at me shyly.
"Can I kiss you?" She whispers in a voice matching her face. Looking her in the eyes, I don't answer. I do what she did, I nod.
She takes a step forward and lightly places her lips on mine. And just like before I loose the ability to think and my knees goes weak. She pulls away all to quickly for my liking and hugs me. I return the hug and we just stand there hugging one another.
"Not to interput but it's time." I hear Nik say in an apologetic tone and I nod. I pick her up bridal style and I hug her tightly and I speed of to the cemetery.
I enter the cemetary to see my siblings, Hayley and Marcel have joined Sophie at the cemetery, where they're waiting for me and Davina to arrive to complete the Harvest. Suddenly, flames start to erupt near the entrance where we are, startling everyone.
"Fire." I hear Sophie comment.
As I walks toward them, flames follow us in a trail that licks at my heals. Once we get to the altar, I sets her down reluctantly, and Sophie holds the ceremonial athame over the flames before she heads toward Davina.
"Do you believe in the harvest?" Sohpie asks and I almost scoff and say 'no'
.
She nods nervously and says: "I believe."
Once she says the words, Sophie raises the blade and slits Davina's throat with it and I have to uses all of my self control not to rip her apart piece by piece. But all the control in the world doesn't stop the deadly growl from escaping my lips and my hybrid face surfacing and tears rolling my cheeks. Davina gasps in shock and grabs at her throat before she falls back. I catches her and lay her down on the ground. Just then, the rain stops, and Davina's skin glows gold as the magic leaves her body and flows into the earth.
"After the Harvest comes the Reaping. Their sacrifices made and accepted. We call upon our Elders to resurrect the chosen ones." Nothing happens, and the rest of them look around at each other uneasily and fear starts to grow in me. Sophie begins again. "We call upon our Elders to resurrect the chosen ones..." Still, nothing happens. Sophie becomes flustered and is near tears and my tears are starting to fall more. "Resurrect your chosen ones... Please? I beg..." When it becomes clear that something has gone wrong, Sophie falls to her knees and sobs. "No!"
Sophie begins to sob even harder and I shake my head in disbelief.
"Sophie." I plead and when she looks to me I know. It didn't work.
Something inside of me shatters and I loose all sense. I loose all feeling inside of me and I fall to my knees and I collapse. The same feeling of last night takes me over but this time it's much worse.
"DAVINA!" I roar out I want to kill someone, Sophie, the witches, anyone but I can't find the energy to get up. I start sobbing uncontrollably and I feel arms wrap around my shaking body.
The arms pick me up and starts walking away and one sentence is going over and over in my head.
She's gone and she's not coming back.

Fire and Shadows. Legend of the breaker. (Hiatus until ??)

And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
