Alexsios P.O.V:
I down my next shot in Roussouw's as my phone rings.
"Lex Mikaelson. How may I help you?" I ask the person on the other end, having not checked the caller I.D.
"Lex, it's me. I need you help. Marcel was at the plantation earlier and now Hayley's gone." I hear the voice of my twin says anxsiously.
"Where are you?" I question him.
"Elijah and I are going to the compound right now." He answers and I nod before realiseing he can't see me.
"I'll meet you there." I tell him and I hang up. I exit the bar an I speed towards the compound.
I see my brother's waiting outside when I arive. We nod at each other and enter.
"Damn, girl! Not bad!" I hear Marcel say and I see a bunch of vampires in the middle of the room.
Nik, Elijah and I enter the courtyard. Nik walks behind a female vampire and snaps her neck. The whole room goes silent.
"Good evening! I'd like a word." Nik annouces loudly.
"What do you think you're doing?" Marcel asks us, clearly irritated.
"It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs! We've come here for the girl. Give it to us, or we kill everyone here... starting with you." Elijah says and I growl in approval and flash my eyes and a few vampires take a step back.
"You three got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands." Marcel says and I growl again.
"Two members of my family is in danger. I could care less about your home. You should give her back, you know how I get when it comes to my family's safety." I sneer at him.
"Your home, is it?" Nik says.
"Not now." I tell him and he nods.
"The girl! I will not ask again." Elijah says and I almost smile because if he's angry, he cares about her more than her being pregnant. He deserves to be happy.

"I assume you're talking about Hayley? Yea high, dark hair, bitchy attitude? Who is she, anyway?" Marcel asks curiously.
"She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends." Nik says and if I weren't so mad, I would have snorted.
"Well, I ain't got her. And before you start whining, I did pay her a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic, so I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave. And, imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence. Your girl, Hayley, answered the door, we exchanged hellos, that was it. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her. But the question that I'd ask is: if Hayley isn't here, then where is she?" He says and I can tell he's being honest.
"Fine. I believe you. But you're helping us." I say and he nods and speeds of to God knows where.
Elijah, Nik and I are sitting in the courtyard waiting for Marcel. Some of the vampire fighters are milling around the compound.
"Not the most attractive community, are they?" Elijah asks unimpressed.
"You do realize they can hear you?" Nik and I ask in unison and then grin at each other.
"You do realize I don't care?" Elijah retorts and I grin.
"It's taken a thousand years but I'm finally rubbing of on you." I say proudly and he smirks while Nik chuckles.
Marcel appears, followed by some vampires, and a witch I haven't met. So that's where he went then.
"You know, Elijah, I liked you better in that box." He turns to Nik. "But Klaus, my sire, you I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders. If your special lady friend is missing, you could benefit from the help of a witch. And, since I control all the witches in this town, I'll grant you one little locator spell. Sabine's the best guide in the Quarter. Need to find someone? I guarantee, she's your girl." He says confidently and her eyes widen as they set on me.

Marcel turns to leave us to our business
"Where are you going?" Nik asks confused.
"I hate to cut this short, but the sun's coming up soon. My nightwalkers need to get inside, and I have got a city to run. I leave you to track down your lost sheep." Marcel says and leaves.
"Can you find her?" Elijah asks Sabine but she doesn't answers him, instead she looks at me. Frozen in what appears to be shock.
"You're Aleksios Mikaelson." She says and my name sounds wrong coming from her mouth. Only she and my family are allowed to called me that.
"It's Lex." I snap at her and she nods with wide eyes.
"I'm sorry. Please don't kill me." She pleads and I roll my eyes.
"I'm not gonna kill me unless you give me a reason to. Honestly. Sometimes I think you mistake me for my twin." I say getting of topic and Elijah clears his throat.
"Right. Back to the matter at hand. Can you find Hayley or not?" I repeat Elijah's question.
"I can try." She answers me.
Sabine sets up her stuff on a small table. She waves her hands over a map. As she casts the locator spell, a puddle of Nik' blood traces across the map from their current location to where Hayley is being held in the Bayou.
"She's in the back country. Way up past Houma, deep in the Bayou." She says after a while.
"I don't suppose you could be more precise?" Elijah asks and I roll my eyes.
"It's a bayou Elijah." I deadpan.
"What's the matter, Elijah? You're worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?" Nik teases and I snicker.
"As a matter of fact, after my recent confinement, I could use a decent stroll through the countryside." Elijah retorts.
"There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Hayley went out that far, chances are she went to find them." Sabine chimes up.
"Clearly, she hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her." Nik says and I look at the two originals in front of me that I call brothers.
"Hey dumbass one and two." I call out and they turn to me while some vanpires tries to stiffle their chuckles. "Hayley might be curious about where she comes from but she's far from stupid. She wouldn't go out there with out telling one of us." I say and realisation along with worry takes over their faces.
We leave the compound and drive to the bayou. Ariving there we start searching for Hayley.
"This place is enourmous. It will take hours to search." I tell my brothers.
"You can leave if you'd like." Elijah says and I glare at him.
"What I meant was that something can happen to Hayley and we might be to late." I snap at him.
"I apologize Lex. I'm just worried." He apologizes.
"So are Nik and I but we aren't snapping at you for nothing." I say and he looks guilty. I ignore it and fall into step next to my twin.
"You alright twin?" I ask softly. "Don't even think of lying, I'll know." I add on. He sighs and shakes his head.
"We'll find her. I promise." I tell him and he nods.
"I know we will. Question is: Will we be to late or not?" He asks me in a soft tone.
I didn't answer him becaue I honestly didn't know the answer.

Absolute Power
A story about a teenager named Aarav trying to find his place in the world, while trying to make it a better place to live. NOTE: Please remember the word 'TRYING'. Guys I have edited the prologue and uploaded it after I uploaded the fourth chapter. Although the story hasn't changed much, I have tried to make it flow smoother. Added a few more details to the life of Aarav and stuff like that. Might wanna take a look at it. P.S. - Guys this is my first story. I am trying to learn English better but since I don't have enough money for books, courses or tutors, so your criticism and support will have to do. This is my first time, so please be gentle. P.P.S. - I selected harem in tags because generally people who like it tend to be more chill. Right now I have a rough sketch till the second volume and there are only two female leads.
