Alexsios P.O.V:
She turns to me and when she sets her eyes on me, her jaw drops. Just like the other day, the air leaves my lungs and all I can do is stare. She looks so beautiful, like a goddess. I compose myself quicker than last time and I look too see if Elijah noticed my staring. He hasn't, luckily.
"Aleksios, you're here." She breathes out with a happy smile and I get that fluttering feeling in my stomach. Thinking back on it, Bekah told me about butterflies that you get but I used to laugh it off. Could it be that for the first time in a thousand years I, Aleksios Mikaelson, got butterflies these past few days?
"I did tell you I'd see you again, love." I tell her sincerly and a blush stains her cheeks as I call her love again. I love her blush.
"Yeah. But didn't think you'd actually come." She says shyly looking down at the floor.
"My promises are like Elijah's word. I don't break it. Not unless forced, in which case the oppisite side will most likely end up without their head." I tell her truthfully. I look to her, to see if she's scared but instead she's studies me with a thoughtful expression before nodding with a smile. One that leaves me breathless.
"Pardon the interuption, but down to the reason we came here." Elijah says suddenly.
"Right. Now, you gonna invite me in, love, or am I standing out here the whole time?" I ask her with a grin.
"I'm sorry." She apologizes. "Come in." She says quickly and I step into her attic and I'm hit with a strong smell of the most heavenly scent. Strawberries and cream. Her.
"Thank you." I say with a smile as I recover and she nods.
Elijah gives her the spells and she smiles.
"I'd like you to begin with this one." He says handing her, what I'm assuming is the unlinking spell.
Davina spreads one of the pages of Mother's grimoire on her table and reads it. Elijah take out an elaborately woven knot of rope out of his pocket a holds it up.
"It's a spell of unknotting?" Davina asks some what confused.
Elijah holds up the knot and explains: "This is a sanguinum knot. The witches use it as representational magic. If you can unknot this using that spell, you will have taken a step towards learning control. This is one of my mother's later spells. It requires much more power than you realize. Now, if you can perform this, then I shall return with another page." He walks toward the door, then turns back to her. "A spell of your choosing, next time."

Elijah and I smile at Davina warmly before he leaves. Davina looks at the spell and the knot on her table and I go after Elijah.
"Aleksios." She calls out before I exit the attic and Elijah turns to me.
"Wait for me downstairs." I tell him. He nods and leaves.
"Yes, love." I say her as I turn to her.
"I-i uh, I was wondering..." She starts and trails off as a blush stains her cheeks.
"Yes?" I ask with an encouraging smile.
"It's nothing. Nevermind. It's stupid." She mumbles and turns to her desk. I walk towards her until we're only about three feet apart, her back turned to me.
"Please. Tell me." I say in a gentle voice and she turns to me with a look of shock on her face.
As if she expected me to just leave. In all honest, normally I would have but by now I've realised that this girl is different from any other girl I've ever met.
I see her close her eyes and take a deep breath.
"Wouldyouliketosayherewithme?" She says so quickly that if I didn't have supernatural hearing I wouldn't have caught it.
Would you like to stay here with me?
I get a warm feeling in my chest, another new feeling, when she asks me this questions. I'd have to ask Beks about these feelings.
"I told you it was stupid." She mutters sadly. She took my silence as a bad sign, not as stunned.
Crap.
As turns away from me I grab her wrist and spin her to me, sparks shooting when we touch. I wrap my arms around her and I look her straight in the eyes as I see her cheeks tint. My heart is hammering like crazy at our close proxcimity.
"Yes, I'll stay." I tell her softly and I let her go, reluctantly. She gives me an award winning smile and I return it.
"Lex." I hear Elijah call from downstairs and my eyes widen. I forgot about my brothers. The things she does to me.
"Is everything okay?" She asks me as my expression changes.
"Yeah, I'm quickly going downstairs to talk to my brothers and then I'll be back." I tell her and a sad expression takes over her face as she nods. I turn around to leave when her voice stops me again:
"Promise?" She asks.
"I promise." I tell her as I turn to her, beaming at her.

I speed downstairs before I don't leave at all. My brothers look up towards me as I near them.
"What is it?" I ask them as I stop infront of them.
"Sophie's been abducted." Elijah says and my eyes widen.
"I'm sorry but I can't leave. I promised her" I tell them with an apologetic expression.
"We heard. We just wanted to let you know." Elijah says and I nod.
"Okay. If it gets bad, call me and I'll come." I tell them and this time they nod. They each give me a hug and Nik gives me a look that translates to: 'we'll talk later' and I nod.
They leave I speed back upstairs and I see Davina looking at the spell with a small frown.
"Everything okay, love?" I question her. As I walk in the attic I'm hit with her scent again.
"Yeah. I just don't know if I can do this." She says unsurely as she sits down on her bed. I kick off my combat boots, take of my leather jacket and join her.
"Wait. Let me just see if I get this straight: You, the all powerful harvest girl who put Niklaus Mikaelson on his ass is getting her ass handed to her by a knotted piece of rope?" I ask her with raised eyebrows and she laughs. Clichè as this sounds, it's the most beautiful sound ever.
"Well, when you put it like that..." She says and stands up and goes over to her table.
"There you go." I tell her smiling.
***
She has been practicing a while and was growing frustrated because she couldn't do it. To make matters worse Nik sent me a text to inform me that Agnes hex Sophie to kill the baby.
"Agghhh." She yells frustrated and I chuckle at how cute she looks.
"Why you laughing at me?" She asks me with a pout and I fight the urge to kiss her rosey colored lips.
"Because you're cute." I answer her honestly and she blushes.
"I DON'T. HAVE. TIME." I hear my twin say downstairs and my eyes widen. I slip on my combat boots and I get up.
"Love, excuse me a second. Be right back." I tell her. She looks at me quizzically but nods. I speed downstairs.
"You may have all the vampires in this town cowering in fear, but right now, you are dealing with the humans. And unless you plan on killing all of us, I politely suggest you do as I say, and give us time to discuss it." I hear Father Kiernan say.
"You know what I like about you, Father? Is you're aware of our reputation, and yet still, you stand tall against me... Admirable! You have one hour." My twin says and I smile.
"What in the bloody hell is going on here?" I ask loudly and I look to my twin.
"He's threatening us with our lives, unless we get him the adress of the witch Agnes." A man sitting down says pointing to my brother.
"Okay. Well then you better get to it." I say and I turn to go back upstairs.
"We don't answer to vampires." I hear the same guy say and Nik chuckle as he knows what's coming.
I turn around and speed to him. I grab him by his neck and hold him above the ground. I hear gasps around me but I ignore it.
"Then I guess it's a good thing I'm a hybrid." I say flashing my eyes and tightening my grip as he struggles. "And that witch is threatening my family and when people threaten my family, what little morals I have tends to fly out the window." I say and when I'm done I drop him to the ground and leave to go back to the attic.
"Like Nik said: you have one hour." I say while walking away.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.
