Asher hurriedly went back to the clearing to try and talk with Pier.

'No, that was not the thing that I was supposed to say!' When he reached the main clearing, he immediately went to the area where Pier's designated carriage was located.

On his way to the clearing, he met the knight that had sworn his loyalty to Pier.

"I greet your highness," Gideon said and bowed. The small smile he had while going back from the area of Pier's carriage instantly disappeared at the sight of the Crown Prince.

Gideon personally admired the prince for his spectacular swordsmanship skills but he was upset as well with what happened between Pier and the Crown Prince earlier. He did not know the full story but he knew Pier's point of view.

"Knight Gideon, where is the young master?" Asher asked and Gideon calmly replied.

"The young master has returned to his carriage to rest, your highness. What the young master did after waking up was immediately to catch a magic beast to prove my claims so he must have been tired, your highness." Gideon explained and Asher stopped for a moment.

"That was the first thing he did...?" Gideon nodded his head.

"Yes, your highness. I begged the young master to eat and rest more but he was determined to catch a magic beast just so people would stop talking about him." Asher's mind went blank after hearing the knight's explanation.

'No... It isn't supposed to be like this!' He panicked and immediately went to the Young Master's carriage, leaving the knight behind wondering what had gotten the prince so panicked.

When Asher reached Pier's carriage, he knocked on the door multiple times but no one answered.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Pier still did not answer.

"Pier!" Asher called to the young master but it was not effective at all. Silence responded to Asher's call.

He was about to knock one more time when the door suddenly opened.

"What's with all the knocking, a person is trying to rest!" Pier said with so much annoyance in his tone that Asher flinched.

"Y-Young master..."

"Yes?!" Pier was really annoyed because he was already sleeping soundly after doing so much after waking up and he haven't regained his energy fully.

"Are you okay?" Asher asked hesitantly.

Pier's eyebrows furrowed at the Crown Prince. He was slowly starting to permeate Pier's nerves and it won't be long before he'd start talking trash with him.

"I'm fine, your highness. Please do allow me to rest. I have done so much in just a short time." Pier said before he tried to close the door but before it fully did, Asher's hands stopped the doorframe and the door did not soon budge because of the difference in strength.

"Your highness-"

"I'm sorry."

"Huh?"

"I'm sorry, I was in the wrong earlier." Asher's reddish hair fluttered as he spoke that and Pier felt another level of irritancy arise in his body.

'I am starting to have anger issues because of this scumbag of a prince.' He thought and gave up trying to close the door. Asher was an expert swordsman and Pier was an untrained potato.

"Okay, now let go, your highness. I wish to rest." Pier stated but Asher did not move.

"Did you eat?" Pier calmed himself down from bursting with anger.

"Yes, now let me sleep, your highness!" Pier half-shouted and half spoke to the prince. With the tone, Asher surprisingly let go of the doorframe and it fully closed.

Pier's disrespectful actions in front of the prince would've been an issue if others saw that but he did not care. He was too tired to deal with Asher for the second round of this day.

Asher who was surprised by Pier's tone was staring at the now-closed door of the carriage.

'He shouted at me.' He thought as he heard the rustling noises behind the door come to a stop. Pier was now sleeping.

He had an unpleasant feeling as he heard Pier's tone. No, Pier never used such a tone on him.

Not even once before the sudden changes appeared on Pier.

It was the second time he was surprised by Pier's way of speaking after the study scenario.

What was that feeling? Was he annoyed? Frustrated?

Asher did not know what the precise emotion was but he knew it did not feel good to hear Pier shout at him.

He clenched his hands and formed them into fists. The unpleasant feeling did not go away as he trudged back to the main clearing area.

There, in the middle of the clearing still lays the corpse of the smaller magic beast Pier had caught along with Gideon and the latter was standing in front of it.

Asher approached the knight and stood beside him, both watching the corpse of the beast.

"Y-Your Highness!" Gideon was surprised by the sudden appearance of the prince beside him.

"You seem to have thoughts about the magic beast," Asher said and the knight scratched the back of his head.

"A-Ah, I'm thinking of making something for the young master from the corpse, your highness," Gideon said as he diverted his eyes back to the corpse.

"You can have it."

"P-Pardon?"

"Pier was the one who caught the magic beast. Thus, it is his right to own the corpse." Asher said and Gideon beamed at the statement.

"I'm truly grateful, your highness!" Gideon smiled as he dragged the corpse back to his personal spot. There was an hour left until the sun will fully rise in the sky and they will soon depart towards the boundary.

Gideon was excited to give Pier the present he had on his mind.

---

"What's this?" Pier asked as Gideon handed him a pile of clothes.

"Uh... the boundary will be pretty cold, young master... so... um..." Gideon scratched his cheeks as he was riding on top of his horse and was beside Pier's carriage.

Pier had his windows opened to talk with the knight because Gideon was relentlessly knocking on it.

"I... I created that coat for the young master to wear in the boundary!" Gideon said as his face flushed with embarrassment. He wanted to give Pier the fur coat he had made from the magic beast's corpse.

Pier unfolded the cloth and in his hands was a fur coat that had a dark and white color. The material was very soft in Pier's hands as he felt the furs brush against his palm.

"This..."

"A-Ah, I made that from the corpse of the magical beasts you have hunted, young master!" Gideon said and his horse neighed at how its owner was stuttering in front of Pier.

Pier laughed at the human-like characteristics the horse had and he suddenly remembered the small fat bird that acted the same.

'I wonder if that fat bird did some exercises. It eats too much.' Pier thought.

"You do not have to give me this, Gideon."

"N-No, it's alright, young master! I wanted to give the coat to you so you will be comfortable in the boundary. It is pretty close to the northern area so it is also cold." Gideon said and Pier smiled at him.

"You personally made this?"

"Y-Yes, young master! Though I did receive lots of help from my friends when we made it at the clearing area." Pier was amazed at how good the coat looked. Who knew a bunch of knights could create a good coat like this?

"If you insist then thank you." Pier smiled as the calming scent that emanated from the coat was caught by his nose.

"A-Ah, since it is fur from a magical beast-" Gideon started to explain when he saw Pier smell the coat he had given.

"I know, Gideon. The magic worked as a scent giver and it removed any dirt when combined with replenishing magic" Some of the clerks that accompanied them had replenishing magic and when combined with the magic from the fur of the beast, it acted as an instant cleaner for unpleasant things in the coat.

"I-I see..."

"Thank you once more." Gideon beamed brightly at Pier and Pier had to stop himself from getting blind at his knight's bright smile.

---

"The Crown Prince from the Taron Kingdom has arrived!" Citizens and people who were at the boundary spoke gasps of admiration at the grandiose carriage that had entered the town's gates.

People lined up on every corner of the street to greet the arrival of the esteemed Crown Prince from the capital.

Men, women, children, and elders were excited with anticipation. Even though it was really cold at the boundary, the arrival of the drought was already anticipated and in a span of a single evening, the coldness would be gone and was instead replaced with scorching heat.

The Crown Prince's arrival had calmed their worries and frustration with the drought.

When all of the carriages arrived in the middle of the town square, the knights, priests, and clerks all got off their respective horses and carriages.

They also all bowed down as they made a path for the Crown Prince's carriage.

"Your highness!"

"We have been waiting for your arrival, your highness!"

"Your highness, our savior!"

Everyone could not calm down as they watched the carriage that the prince had taken.

The knights slowly opened the door of the carriage and soon after, the Crown Prince of the Taron Kingdom revealed himself.

His reddish hair stood out from everyone else's and it was a symbol for the people of the kingdom for hope.

They all cheered. Shouts from left to right reverberated throughout the town square as they saw the astounding figure of the prince from the carriage.

Asher smiled at them and the ladies regardless of age and marital status squealed after seeing the handsome grin Asher gave them. Their hearts melted with joy at Asher's god-like appearance before them.

"It is my greatest pleasure to have visited the boundary once more. Thank you for the warm welcome." Asher said and everyone shouted cheers of joy again.

How could they fear when the Crown Prince was already here?

No drought could shake their trust in the Crown Prince.

After the cheers had died down, the servant who was tasked to announce the significant individuals who accompanied the Crown Prince started to speak again.

"Daughter of Marquis Scotch has also arrived, Lady Elena Scotch!" The door of the carriage that was beside the Crown Prince's carriage also opened.

People were anticipating the arrival of the famous Marquis Scotch's daughter.

When Elena got down, gasps of admiration resonated in the entire town square. Elena's copper brown hair was well complemented by her dress which was made of thick and expensive materials as a means of protection against the cold.

She waved her hands and shouts from the citizens also started to go off in every place. Elena smiled as she was pleased with the attention she had gotten from the townspeople.

Her innocent yet charming smile made it in everyone's mind. She was very beautiful to look at in her winter clothes.

"Lady Scotch!"

"Whoo, Lady Scotch you are the most beautiful lady I have seen!"

"I will offer you my entire life!"

Elena felt her pride and ego get pleased at the words she heard.

"Thank you, citizens, of the Yuko Boundary. I am here to accompany our most beloved Crown Prince to help with everyone in the upcoming drought," she softly spoke and people awed at the lady.

Meanwhile, on the third carriage from the Crown Prince's, Pier was still sleeping.

"Young master!" Gideon continued to knock at the window of the backside of the carriage to awaken the sleeping Pier.

"Mmmm?" Pier mumbled and rolled over. He was very comfortable with the fur coat that Gideon had given him and the knight who saw the satisfaction in Pier's sleep smiled.

However, now was not the time to watch Pier get comfortable with the coat because everyone was anticipating his appearance too.

He continued to knock on the window until Pier's eyes slowly started to open up.

"What is it, Gideon?" Pier asked as he snuggled warmly at the coat.

"We have arrived, young master! Everyone is waiting for you outside!" Gideon said in a hurry and the drowsiness immediately left Pier's body.

"What?!"

He panicked as he peeked through the window where he could see the view of the town square.

He watched outside as people cheered for Elena and Asher.

'Fuck, I overslept!' He cursed as he immediately went to fix his slightly wrinkled clothes.

"The young master from the House of Masters, Pier Belmiunde has arrived!" Pier flinched for a moment after his name was called.

He sighed as he gave up on fixing his slightly unruly hair.

'Ah, whatever. I will just sleep after this,' He thought as a knight started to open his doors. Pier wore the fur coat Gideon had given him.

'I think I look decent enough, right?' He asked himself and proceeded to stare at his reflection for a second at the window.

People were silent as they stared at the carriage that was supposed to contain the young master.

---

They were silent because it was a person from the House of Masters.

"The young master from the house of masters?"

"I have heard of them but I do not know too much information from the household"

"Oh, I have heard once when my father went to the capital that the young master was someone who likes to wear very very bright colored clothes to impress his highness!"

"Huh-"

"What? Pfft!"

People started to laugh at the mention of the extremely bright clothes Pier usually wore. Elena also secretly smiled at the townspeople's words.

"Hahaha! Imagine what he would look like wearing bright-colored clothes in a place like the boundary!" Small sets of laughter erupted as they made fun of the original Pier.

"That knight who's waiting for the young master to come out is very handsome though!"

"Definitely. He's tall and look at his face!"

People were also talking about Gideon who hurriedly went in front of Pier's carriage to assist his young master.

"The young master from the House of Masters, Pier Belmiunde has arrived!" the servant announced and people stopped chattering.

Once the door was starting to open, they were already at the point where they would instantly laugh when they see the young master wearing bright-colored clothes.

However, what they expected as a silly noble who likes to show off his wealth did not come out.

Instead, a pale hand from inside the carriage extended out and held the hand of the knight people were talking about. Followed by the luscious dark hair and tall frame, Pier revealed himself. His clear and prominent blue eyes scanned the surroundings.

The fur coat he wore matched the black suit he was wearing and his pale skin was further enhanced under the set of clothes he wore. His blue eyes were so captivating to look at that people almost forgot to breathe.

As light drops of snow fell from the cloudy sky, Pier stepped onto the bricked ground of the town square and when Pier fully got down the carriage, he sighed one last time.

"Greetings, everyone. I am Pier Belmiunde from the House of Masters. It is my pleasure to meet you for the first time." He said in a monotonous yet charming voice.

Unlike Asher and Elena who received warm welcomes, a deafening silence was the response to the young master's appearance. No one dared to speak as they observed the appearance of the young noble. He was warmly snuggled up in his coat. His otherworldly looks made everyone's eyes and lips tremble.

"A god..." a voice said.

'Hmmm?' Pier looked around them and everybody was just staring at him.

"Gideon, do I have something on my face?" Pier asked the knight who was also staring at him.

"Beauty..." Gideon said as if he was tranced by Pier's appearance too.

"Huh?"
