I sit on the couch playing mortal kombat.

I finish my combo and the other opponent is playing as Millennia while I'm scorpion.

Milenna grabs me by my neck and slams me finishing me in a fatality.

"DAMNN MOTHERFUCKERR" I yell into my gaming mic while throwing the controller at the TV.

"Haha that's why yo ass lost" my opponent says to me.

"Man fuck yo-" before I get to finish my sentence I get interrupted by my phone ringing

I pull my phone out my back pocket and see it's Flo calling me

"Man what now" I say while answering the phone

"COME RIGHT NOW CHOPPA , ITS REMI , COME PLEASE!" Flo says to me in a frightened voice

I can barely understand what flo is saying

"Yo calm down , what happened ?!" I say to her

"REMI GOT IN A ACCIDENT PLEASE COME RIGHT NOW CHOPPA" Flo says in a panicked voice

Suddenly a wave of terror rushes over me "Send me your location immediately please!" I say to Flo

Flo hangs up and within 3 seconds I get a text with the address of her location.

I quickly go on the uber app and find a Uber Driver to come take me to the location.

The Uber arrives and I rush out the house quickly getting inside of the Uber.

"Where are you headed to young brotha" The Uber Driver turns around in his seat and says to me

"Take me to State Route 99" I say to the Driver

The drivers pulls off and starts driving to my destination

I sit back in my seat and I look out the window.

I really hope Remi is fine , I already know he's good. I shouldn't even be worrying it's probably a small accident anyways. But the way Flo sounded on the phone I don't think it was a small accident. But I shouldn't even be thinking these thoughts Remi is strong I know he gon pull through.

The Uber driver looks at me through the mirror

"Young man what's wrong with you somethings wrong I can see it in your eyes"

As soon as he says that he stops at my destination.

I look out the window onto the highway and I see a eighteen wheeler flipped to the side and a couple of feet away from it I see Remi's Yellow Jeep Flipped upside down

I see ambulances and police rushing to the cars

I quickly open the car door and rush over to the scene

"AYO REMI" I yell out in distraught

I see a body covered in a white sheet layed out on a stretcher

I hope that's not Remi it can't be.

All of a sudden I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around and I see it's Tinashe and Flo

" Where is Remi at?" I question them

"Choppa all of this is my fault! Remi is really gone. I shouldn't have even asked him to come!" Flo exclaims while crying

"No, no he's not gone what are you talking about"

I say back to her

Tinashe grabs a hold of my face and looks me straight in the eye "Choppa he is gone."

Tinashe says to me with a devastated look in her eye.

As Tinashe says those words my heart sinks

Tinashe starts to cry "The truck hit him and Remi flew out the windshield." Tinashe says while bawling out her eyes

"So that means Remi was the one in the white sheet." I say in a quiet tone

Tinashe nods her head up and down

Tears start rolling down my face as all this starts to sink in.

Flo grabs me and Tinashe and we all hug eachother very tightly as we all bawl our eyes out.

A officer walks over to us

"Are y'all the family of Remi Jones" the officer says to us

"No, we're his friends his mom died last year and his dad is nowhere to be found and we never heard from the rest of his family or seen them " Tinashe says

I open my mouth in shock as I never knew Remi had a rough past like that

"Wow he has no family what type of loser has no family" the officer says while smirking

"Yo , What the fuck did you just say?! I will knock your fucking head off " I say to the officer

"I said what type of loser has no family" The officer says to me while smiling

I put my hands in a fist as I'm bout to punch the officer but Tinashe and Flo pulls me back

I look over to the side and see the paramedics carrying Remi's covered up Body in a white sheet onto the ambulance.

Flo drops down to the floor and starts sobbing

"We made a pinky promise to eachother that he will come back to me" I say to myself while shedding tears
