I open my eyes and see that I'm layed out on a couch
I look over beside me and see drugs laying all over the coffee table
I recognize this place from a can of paint this is King's old gangs trap house
I hear talking coming from the kitchen
"Mann I shot that nigga up it was insane bruh!" I hear King say
"Mane why the hell would you do something dumb like that you already on probation" I hear a voice say
"Bruhh we can cover this up I promise I jus want to make sure y'all in on it and will help a nigga out!." King says to him
"Mann you got me fucked up I ain't riskin my life for yo ass this bout the third time you shot someone." one of the voices say while laughing
"I fuckin helped y'all back in 2016 don't make me bring that shit up you remember when I helped you bury-" King gets interrupted mid sentence by one of the guys
"Ight Ight don't bring that shit back up jus tell us where he at" one of the voices says
As they continue talking in the kitchen
I look down at my leg and see dried up blood on my pants
I'm really devastated right now I've realized King is a fuckin psycho path . He didn't have to take it this far , but all that's on my mind right now is Choppa .
I really hope he is okay I have to find him the moment I seen Choppa fall down to the ground it just keeps playing over and over in my head. I'm really a fucked up person for letting that shit happen to him.
I slowly get up off couch and walk past the kitchen

I make sure I walk upstairs as quiet as possible so everyone in the kitchen won't hear my footsteps
As I get up the stairs I hear a phone ring coming from one of the rooms
I quickly tip toe into one of the rooms
I look around the room and see a half naked Brazilian woman with pink hair sleeping on the bed
I see the phone ringing and I grab the phone off the dresser quickly declining the incoming call.
I unlock the phone thank god it didn't have a password on it
I go to the dialpad on the phone and I call 911
"911 what's your emergency?" The operator says
"Can you come please help , my friend has been shot by a guy named King.
Can y'all go to the address 91 Redcourt Blvd in Los Angeles California and check on my friend first please he's in critical condition .
And can y'all please please come hurry he's gonna kill me too." I whisper to the operator
"I will be sending help towards your way hang on tight." The 911 operator says to me
I hang up on the 911 operator
and I dial Flo's phone number
I wait a couple rings and Flo finally picks up the phone
"Who da hell is dis?!" Flo says
"Flo this is Remi please please come pick me up right now please this is a emergency and I can only speak for so long" I whisper to her
"Oh my god Send me ur location right now! I'm on the way" Flo says
I quickly send Flo my location
Suddenly I hear footsteps coming up the stairs
I hang up the phone quickly putting the phone back where it was
I run to the only window in the room

I quickly open it and jump out the window
I shut the window behind me
as I shut the window
I can hear yelling coming from inside the room I was just in
"WHERE DA FUCK IS THIS NIGGA" I hear king yell out
I take off dashing to the front of the neighborhood
As I'm running I turn around and I see King and his friends hopping in a black jeep to come after me.
I start to pick up my speed running as fast as I can
The black Jeep's gets closer and closer to me
Suddenly I fall and I trip
I look up and I see King stepping out the front seat of the jeep
He looks down at me and smirks
"oh you really thought you was gonna escape huh?!"
He laughs while four of his friends grip me up off the ground and they hold me tight so I won't run away
"FUCK YOU KING FUCK YOU YOU CAN KILL ME I DONT CARE!" I yell at him
"Nahh baby I can't live without you" King says while smiling
I spit in his face "IF YOU CANT LIVE WITHOUT ME WHY ARENT YOU DEAD YET!" I shout at him
King walks up to me and grabs my face "I'm not gonna kill my precious baby why would I want to hurt the one I love!" He says while putting his fist up and punching me in the face
I feel the blood start to drip down my nose
"HANDS UP WHERE I CAN SEE THEM" I hear someone shout
I turn around and I see a bunch of police officers pointing their guns at us
King friends let me out their grip hold
As they put their hands up
In the distance I can see flo's hot pink Maserati following behind the police
I take off running to Flo's car opening the back door and quickly jumping inside the backseat
As I jump in the backseat Flo and Tinashe turn around and look at me
"What happened Remi who the fuck busted you up like this?!" Tinashe looks at me and asks with concern in her voice
As soon as she asks me that question
I start bawling out tears
I turn around and take a look out the window
I see King in handcuffs staring at me as the police puts him in the back of the cop car

A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way.
