Lilly's P.O.V

So I haven't gotten much sleep lately I'm kinda just living off of coffee but can you blame me? If you figured out someone had been watching your every move wouldn't you be paranoid? I mean has he just been watching me at school or has he been following me?

The only person I can think of is Blake but I don't think he is smart enough to pull this off. How long has this even been going on?

I may regret it but I'm solving this case and in order to do that I need Maria's school file. Time to take a trip to Anderson Creek High School.

I get out of the taxi and walk into the school in my annoying high heel shoes. I read online that they have a new principle who they haven't met yet due to her being sick so guess who's faking to be a principle? This girl!

I walk into the office.

" Hi I'm Mrs. James the new principle I'm so very sorry that I haven't been here lately I've been sick with the flu. "

The lady at the front desk eyes me skeptically.

" You don't look like a forty year old? "

" Ah yes deary that's called plastic surgery you wouldn't believe how much of this is fake! "

" Ok well follow me I will show you to your office. "

I follow her and when I'm in I shut the door and start going through the school files after about an hour I find Maria's.

" That's strange. "

I say to myself.

It shows she was a straight A student for Freshman and sophomore year but there's no record of Junior or senior year and if it was because she switched schools the file would be at another school. If she had perfect grades why would she drop out?

I read the comments her teachers left her and all of them say similar things about how committed she is to school and how she would even stay after school for hours just to get ahead of the class. I take a picture with my phone of all the pages and then I put the file back and walk out.

" Where are you going? "

The lady at the front desk ask.

" Turns out I'm still sick I threw up in my office so sorry... Oh no I think I'm gonna hurl again. "

I run outside and run two streets down then I call a taxi. It seems the more I find out the more questions I have.
