《All At Once》My baby mama

Today was my first day as the official Cowboys photographer.
Though it is only spring training, Kayla thought it would be good to get some promotional shots to upload on their social media along with the players accounts as well.
This morning had started off a bit shaky when I had a small bit of morning sickness. Though it's slowly getting better due to the prenatal vitamins the doctor had prescribed me, and the expansion in my pregnancy.
But all in all the baby and I are doing absolutely amazing. Especially with Myles always at my side, taking care of us.
When I finally arrive at the stadium, I hop out of my car and grab my equipment out of the backseat. Since all we are taking today is action shots, the only thing I needed to bring was my camera, along with a few different size lenses.
When I step into the field I was hit with a strong stench of sweat and a mixture of many different colones.
As I walked in front of the team bleachers, along the sidelines, I heard a pair of cleats running straight towards me at a wildly fast pace.
When I looked to my side I saw an extremely large man covered in football pads and a helmet running straight towards me. Though I don't believe he knew I was here, since it looked as though he was looking for a pass.
I tried to move out of the way though it was no use with the heavy equipment and his fast speed. Just when I thought I was going to eat dirt, another player came out of nowhere and tackled him away from me. The player who tackled him was wearing a jersey with the number five on the back.
The man who potentially just saved myself and my unborn child from great impact stood up in a rush, quickly walking towards me and taking his helmet off in the process.

My eyes widened at the man in front of me. The same man who has been taking precious care of me and his son/daughter.
Myles.
He ran his hand through his messy, dark hair as he walked at a fast pace towards me, his eyes wide.
I thought he was gonna scold me about the danger I had put myself in by not paying attention. But he took me by surprise when he opened his arms and engulfed me in a warm -and stinky- bear hug, his hand on the back of my head pulling me deeper into his chest.
Without hesitation I wrapped my arms around his waist, clasping my hands together behind his back.
I could feel his heart beating erratically, even through his thick pads.
"We're fine," I said reassuringly.
I could feel him nod, his chin gently bumping against the top of my head, while also moving his hand that wasn't on my head, to my stomach. He pulled away slightly, only to lean his forehead against mine. His eyes were closed, a prominent crease in between his brows.
After a moment of wrapped in each others arms he removed his forehead from against mine, only to replace it with his lips.
The sense of safety I felt was a foreign feeling. I'm not sure what we are, but right now it didn't matter.
He pulled away, his face not as contorted as before.
"What are you doing here anyway?" he asked confused.
"Remember when I was here last week?"
He nodded.
"Well I was here for a job interview. Today's my first day," I said holding up my camera bag.
He smiled widely. "So that means you'll be here often, correct?"
I let out a small giggle at his almost childlike behavior. "Yes," I said, not breaking eye contact.
He nodded his head once more, looking away as a small grin took over his lips.

Suddenly I realized that there was a bunch of football players and coaches staring at us with confused faces in the middle of the field.
"Uh Myles."
He looked back at me once more.
"Yeah," he said, his grin still intact.
I nodded my head towards the group of players and coaches on the field.
"Oh," he said, as if realizing we were still at his practice. He then looked back at me with a indecisive look.
He nodded his head towards the field, "Come on." I looked at him with hesitancy. Without waiting for an answer he placed his large palm on the small of my back, giving me a gentle push towards his destination.
When we arrived near the players, they all looked at me with confusion.
"Guys, this is Harper. The new team photographer," he paused with a sigh, "and my baby mama," he finished with a prideful tone.
My head snapped to him and my eyes went wide.
He has a slight smile on his face, looking proud he finally told his team.
As if on cue their eyes moved from my face down to my stomach. My face heated from all their gazes, and my hand unconsciously made its way over my belly. Myles squeezed my waist in reassurance.
All At Once his team came and gave him a bro hug and a pat on the back.
Unexpectedly a pair of lips met the side of my cheek opposite of Myles. My head snapped in the direction, only to be met by a guy with slightly pale skin, and honey colored hair.
He laughed at my shocked expression, then turning his attention to Myles.
"Daddy Myles," the guy said thoughtfully. "Has a ring to it."
"Jake," Myles groaned, disgust written on his face. "Please don't."
Jake threw his head back and let out a loud laugh.
"I better let you guys practice, and take my pictures," I said looking back at Myles.
He nodded, a smile on still his face.
I walked off the field, my camera bag slung over my shoulder.

Taking pictures of the football players was actually a lot of fun. Though I will admit to taking a significantly larger amount of Myles.
The action shots I got were amazing. Sometimes, when things on the field weren't all that serious, different players would make funny faces towards the camera.
At one point I even got Myles to do a little dance for me, but once he started twerking I completely lost it.
Without him knowing it I had turned my camera from photo, to video mode.
I was slightly disappointed when practice ended. Though I had captured more than enough pictures.
I waited for Myles outside of the locker room in the tunnel, since he insisted on walking me to my car.
When he exited the locker room his eyes immediately met mine.
Wordlessly we walked out to the front gate where we were parked.
He turned to me, "I was thinking that since you have to be here during practice as well that I could just pick you up on my way to practice," he said sheepishly.
I tried to suppress the small smile that was making its way into my face. "That would be perfect," I said softly.
He sighed in relief, he shoulders sagging lightly.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow then," he said referring to the baby and I.
"Tomorrow."
"Tomorrow," he repeated.
Then we slowly walked away from eachother.
Tomorrow.
It sounded like a promise.
