I hear a knock on the door

"Anyone home?!" It was Miles

what was i supposed to do? tell him i was doing a pregnancy test!!? no.

i hide the test in one of the drawers and run out of the bathroom

"miles, hey" i say puffed

"everything ok?" he asks

"what, no everything's fine" i say

"ok cool"

"come in" i say

"i would but i was coming by to drop something off real quick" he says handing me my grandmothers sketch book

"h- how did you find this?" i ask stunned that he would even know it was my grandmothers

"it was in miss groses room" he says

"m-miss grose?" i ask

"yeah, she was telling me about your grandmother and her being friends and gave it to me, i figured you'd find more interest in it than i would anyway" he says

"they were friends?" i ask confused

"apparently, and get this your grandmother used to come over all the time" he says

"wha- oh my god this is so weird" i say

"just a little, anyway i gotta scram i'll see you later" he says walking off

"oh ok- bye then" i sigh shutting the front door

the funny thing is, my grandmother went missing, and was presumed dead almost four years ago and was last sighted driving on the highway, the highway we normally go to get to the Fairchild Manor...

the phone starts ringing causing my thoughts to disappear.

"hello?" i say

"oh thank god" i hear a voice say

"wait, Alice?" i ask

"yup, i got some news for you." she says

"well go on...spill the tea!" i say

"alright so i was on my way home from the library right..." she begins

"who the hell goes to the library these days?" i ask cutting her off

"just wait I'm not done!" she says

"alright alright" i sigh

"i saw miles" she says

"miles?" i ask

"yes and..."

"what aren't you telling me Alice?" i ask

"he was with Rebecca" she says

"WHERE ARE YOU I'M ON MY WAY?" i shout

no way i was letting this happen, Miles and Rebecca, TOGETHER.
