Today is the day, I am back at boarding school and I get to see Miles. it's been two weeks since we last saw each other but we have been writing letters continuously to each other for the last 14 days, and spoken on the phone to each other every night for hours. I miss Miles and I can't wait to see him. The only thing I'm worried about is Rebecca Smith, daughter of the mayor of our town, a spoilt little rich kid who gets whatever she wants, and I'm worried she will want Miles. If she wants Miles she isn't going to get him. I won't let her. Once I am ready for school I say goodbye to Kate and Rose, then walk out the door and leave my annoying big sister and lovely friends behind.

"Y/n!!! You're back!!" I hear a voice shout behind me

I turn around to see my best friend Alice running towards me with a beaming smile on her face.

"Alice!!!" I shout running towards her

"Oh I missed you" she says hugging me tight

"Me too" I say pulling away

We continue walking and blabber about random things.

"So what did you think of the teaching thing" she asks

"It was really fun and a bonus the eldest son came home early so I got to teach him" I smirk

"Tell me everything, is he our age?, does he like pizza?, Is he smart?" She asks

"Woah calm down there Alice" I laugh

"Come on you have to tell me something" she says

"Ok his name is Miles Fairchild and he is our age and he is going to be attending our school" I say

"Oh me, oh my. Is he cute?" She asks

"He's Taken!!" I shout

"Woah, actually?" Alice says disappointed

"Yes, by me" I smile

"You!!, No way, I don't believe you" she says

"Well will this picture do?" I ask pulling out a picture of Miles and I by the pool in our bathers and I am on his back kissing his cheek.

"Wow, he's cute" Alice laughs

"Hey, he's mine" I smile putting the photo away

"I can't wait to meet him" Alice says

"I can't wait to see him" I sigh

"How long has it been since you two have seen each other?" Alice asks

"2 weeks" I say

"Wow that's a fair while" Alice says

"Yep" I sigh

"What about Rebecca what if she finds out?" Alice asks

"We will be in big trouble" I sigh

"Very" Alice says as we walk into the bustling gates of school.

~TIME SKIP~

~FIRST CLASS~

The annoying thing about homeroom Is that I don't have it with Alice. Apart from their first periods pretty good. another thing I forgot to mention is that Rebecca and her four little friends are in my homeroom. Yeah yeah I know.

"she is the chick who could possibly steal your man, no harm done there" I thought to myself

"Anyway classed as I was saying homeroom is going to be a bit shorter this term." Mrs Howard was blabbering away

I don't really listen to what the teacher has to say until I hear something that picks up my ears

"We have a new student joining us today" she says

I sit up with a massive grin on my face.

"Everyone, this is Miles Fairchild" she says

"Hey everyone" Miles says Awkwardly. Then he spots me and smiles. I wave at him and he waves back.

"Ah, Miles it seems that you know Miss y/n, go take a seat with her" she says

Miles comes in a sits next to me and he has a big smile on his face.

"Hey" he says

"Hey" I smile and he grabs my hand

"Good to see you" he smiles

"You too" I say

"Who are they?" Miles asks pointing to Rebecca and her friends

"That's Rebecca Smith she's the daughter of the mayor, she thinks she owns the joint but she doesn't, don't go making friends with the wrong sort ok" I say

"Don't worry she doesn't look very friendly or nice anyway" Miles says and we laugh

The rest of the day went pretty smoothly. Rebecca and her friends didn't bother us.
