Avengers' POV
Bruce walked into the living area and straight to the kitchen smiling away to himself. The rest of the avengers were half relaxing on the couches but also still in all there suits because who doesn't have trust issues at this point?
The had split up into couples or in some cases a group (Nat, Wanda and vision). A few of them were left to themselves, particularly Peter and Bucky, who managed to find themselves on the same couch right next to each other again.
What a coincidence.
Peter's cheeks were slightly red as his sat next to the long haired man. Bucky felt this weird sensation that he had felt once before in the 1940s, back when he saw little Steve stand up to 'bullies' as he called them, but now it was stronger as he sat next to the small child-like 18 year old.
They had first been introduced shortly after the little arachnid's 18th birthday. Well not exactly introduced per se, more of literally crashing into each other as Peter was playing on the newest phone tony had made for him and not paying attention.
Even though the room felt colder than it would normally would at any other time, the two men felt hotter than normal. Nothing is going on, they both thought to themselves as they glanced at each other for a brief second catching each other's eyes.
"Friday, please tell everyone to come to the living area, we have things to discuss," Tony was exhausted and just wanted cuddles from strange, ignorant to his son's current overthinking.
"Right away boss."
The rest of the avengers and fellow heroes piled into the room, last in were y/n, Clint and Loki. Tony looked over at Steve who understood that Tony wasn't going to do the talking. They had both been discussing it together while Loki was nowhere to be seen and Tony had to wait till later to talk to strange. Steve stood up as Tony sat down again.

Y/n's POV
"So firstly I'd like to thank everyone for helping us today, it was nice to all be fighting again after such a long time but I would've wished it were different circumstances. Umm, y/n," at the last part he slipped into a much more casual tone. It replaced the former serious tone as he sat down. The announcement turned into a discussion now. "We know that it's going to be difficult but you're going to have to testify against your relatives in court next month, we got the news about an hour ago. And a police officer (Garda, sorry it physically pained me to write pOlIcE OffIcEr) will be coming in tomorrow to ask you some questions. And you too Shuri," he nodded to Shuri.
"Co-"my voice cracked, I cleared my throat. "Court?"
"Yes sweetie," Nat reached up from the couch and patted my arm, I just so happen to be standing next to her. "But don't worry everyone will be there to support you and you don't need to say anything you don't want to, trust me, I've been there before."
This reassured me a small bit.
"And unfortunately there will be media trying to get the story from you," Steve wrapped up his half speech.
To be honest I forgot that media existed for a second and I slightly panicked. But I felt a warm hand grab mine. I looked behind me and saw Shuri, she smiled gently.
There was an awkward minute before Stark opened his mouth.
"So whose gonna adopt y/n? Any bets?" I made my way over to the couch with Shuri still holding my hand, as Tony was about start doing odds in his holographic tablet. He was going over all the possibilities so fast his eyes looked blurred.

Clint coughed and raised an eyebrow at Bruce, he looked at me and I nodded my head at him, the single nod reminding him of our conversation earlier.
"Erm Tony?" Bruce began before Clint could. "Clint and I were going to adopt her, no need to place unnecessary bets." He smirked at the last part.
Half the avengers chocked on air.
"Wait a minute Clint?" Nat looked at her best friend and shrugged.
"I didn't see that coming," Pietro said absentmindedly.
Thor who I just now noticed was looking out another window spinning his hammer in his hand didn't look slightly shocked. As a matter of fact neither did Loki. They knew?
"Yup," Clint chuckled in the awkward silence.
"So you two fucked? God Bruce it seems so unlike you," Tony said with no shame. Bruce and Clint blushed.
"No Tony, we just want a romantic relationship," everyone nodded their head in understanding. Who are they to judge.
"So Tony who did you bet on?" I spoke up for the first time in a while.
"Steve and his mysterious partner."
I laughed considering I thought the same a few days ago in a joking matter but nether the less still thought it.
Conversations began starting up in larger groups than before now that this announcement thing was kinda over.
I looked over at Steve and Loki who were whispering amongst each other. I remembered my super hearing for once and listened in. Why? Because I'm interested and don't have many boundaries.
"Steve I think we should come out, I'm getting tired of hiding."
"Are you sure darling? I know you were scared about this."
"I'm positive love."
"Okay now we need a plan."
I smiled watching them, they are so sweet.
I felt someone squeeze my hand, I turned to see Shuri mouthing 'I'm sorry for earlier'.
"It's okay," I whispered. "I liked it."
Her face flushed. And an idea popped into my head.
"Want to sneak off?" I whispered again. She smiled and nodded immediately.
We stood up to leave and I could've sworn a few people were watching us.

A/n: got the Covid vaccine yesterday, that new. What's not new is my growing jealousy of y/n like come on I need someone already. Any who. You guys are probably biased considering this is an avengers fic but I'm wondering if I should do a Harry Potter fic, I have a lot of ideas orrrrr a Bucky x steve x reader fic and it will have my first attempts at writing smut. Even though I still have no experience in that area. F.

The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!

8 131Dungeon's Ascension
When the Immortal Quin and his friends are put in a life and death situation where escape seems impossible, they decide to start again from the beginning. But this time they will be born as dungeons and try to ascend again into the Divine Realm with a whole army at their backs to get revenge. The story follows Quin as he develops himself and the intimate relationship he forms with the local sect. In this story I will try to mix classical fantasy elements together with typical Xianxia tropes, but in the end I always try to have a logic and reason behind why the world functions as it does. For more infos on the future of the story read the first announcement. First time writing a story and feedback is greatly appreciated.
