Chapter 39: “Want To Race?”

"LET'S OPEN THE PRESENTS" my mom yelled and clapped to get our attention.

we all sat on the ground or the couch like a circle as my mom and aunt Olivia with both uncle Blake and dad helping them.

"this is for you" aunt Olivia handed me my gift.

I checked the card to see who is it from and it said, "now you can shift to hogwards and be with your true ;) love aka Draco Lucius Malfoy"

I knew exactly who got this, Annie. she knew that I always used to shift there and even sometimes in sleepover we both shift.

I opened the box to see a Sauvage by Dior. It was incredible. I'm keeping this. What if Elijah tries it? I should buy him one, this is mine.

I got up to Annie and hugged her "you are the best thank you so much" Annie winked at me and smiled.

I looked at Cara who received her gift, opened it and screamed like screamed and stood up holding a Klaus Mikaelson blanket.

she read the card as she looked at ace and went to hug him, but Noah grabbed the back of her sweater and pulled her back next to him.

"thank you, ace," Cara smiled.

"you're welcome. Sleep well," ace winked.

"time for Emma" mom handed Emma her gift as she rapidly opened it.

"oh my God" she repeatedly said as she held a colorful cardigan. Harry styles cardigan.

she looked at the tag and came to hug me, but I stopped her by pointing at the box.

"there's more" I said, making her look into the box, widening her eyes and gasp.

"Harry styles concert tickets" she screamed and jumped at me, hugging me tightly.

"thank you so much" she kept hugging me while I laugh at her reaction.

"you're welcome" she came back to her seat next to Ben.

"here you go Annie" uncle Blake gave Annie her gift as she smiled at him, thanking him.

she opened up the gift and held a Dylan O'Brian blanket as she was too in shock to speak.

she jumped at Cara, hugging her tightly and repeatedly saying "thank you" and Cara laughed and hugged her back.

"another one for Mia" mom gave me a box.

I opened it to find two Disneyland tickets with a smaller box.

I opened the small box that had a cute ring in it.

I opened the card and read it 'I don't do clichés but I knew you like your parents' necklace and considering you don't like to wear necklace and prefer rings that is our promise ring, yours e'

'I want to scream,'

I looked at Elijah, who winked at me and hugged me tighter than before. I raised my head and kissed him.

"what is this" I heard my dad yell.

'oh'

"Sebastian calm down it's okay" mom said as she grabbed his arm.

"no I won't they kissed in front me get up you three are going to that island."my dad glared at Elijah who smirked at him and kissed my head.

"Sebastian black if you do this you are sleeping on the floor wait no in the living room,"

"but they kissed" he tried to defend himself but my mom glared at him.

"we did the same now shut up before I tell them about that little race we had and before I get my slippers," my dad's eyes widen and glared at my mom.

"fine they can kiss just not in front of me" he hugged mom who smiled at me and winked.

"one more kiss?" Elijah said, making dad glare at him.

Elijah grabbed my neck and turned my face to him and kissed me.

"that son of a b-" my mom kissed my dad, cutting him off.

"ew stop we don't want another kid" uncle Noah said as he looked away from mom and dad.

"alright here you go Elijah" aunt Olivia handed Elijah his gift.

'that's mine'

he opened it and grabbed a key and read the card inside it.

"you wanted the key to my heart but you already have it so I gave you another key go outside, yours m," he looked at me confused.

"go outside" I got up and grabbed his arm as he stood up and walked outside.

"you did not" he said as he looked at the motorcycle.

'I did'

"now I regret just buying you a ring,"

"and two Disneyland tickets and I am more than happy now go on a ride," he smiled at me and sat on it.

"want to race?" he asked me, smirking.

'he is too confident'

"heck yeah,"

"she's going to win" my mom said as my dad laughed.

'I got my mom's skills in riding, '

I got on my bike and we raced.

I won, but let's not brag about it.

"you cheated" he said as he took his helmet off.

"she got my skills" my mom smirked as she went inside with dad behind her.

we went back inside and received the rest of the and that went on and on till all the gifts were given.

after that we had lunch and went out as a big family to a carnival than got back home, ate dinner and went to sleep.

(ps. they all slept in Angelina's and Sebastian's house)

FAST FORWARD TO NEW YEAR.

me and Elijah got back from our vacation to Disneyland a week ago.

and we are celebrating new Year's eve at Landon's and Stephen's house.

we all were sitting at a big table eating dinner each couple next to each other.

we were talking, laughing, eating and facing so much fun that we didn't notice the hour.

"hey guys, it's 11:00" aunt Isabelle said as she looked at her phone.

"let's finish our dinner and clean the table," uncle Stephan Said.

after a few minutes we finished eating and we were cleaning up the table and kitchen, then we headed out to the backyard and sat down.

we were looking at the sky as the countdown started.

"can I kiss your daughter" I heard Elijah whisper in my dad's ear.

"you can" my dad said, making Elijah smile.

"it's cute, I like it" Mason said as he held her in a bridal way and went inside.

"I wonder what did she rant about now," Noah said.

we smiled and enjoyed the rest of the night together and yes, Annie did wake up.
