Chapter 35: “Move”

᯽Mason's pov᯽

I arrived at the carnival that Annie and William went to for their "date”, surprisingly I found them immediately, holding hands and smiling.

Annie was holding a big bear and smiled as William put ice cream on her nose.

'He is pissing me off'

As I was about to go there, they got up and started heading towards the exit.

'That's it?'

I walked to them, held Annie’s hand and turned her so she's facing me.

"What do you think you are doing?" she asked me.

"I should be the one to asking you that, what are you with him? is this your jealousy plan?"

"I'm just on a date with him I really don't care about you and what you think"

"Then why did you go with him if you don't care about what I think"

"Because I like him so I went with him" she rolled her eyes at me and took her hand out of my grip.

'She likes him?'

'But-'

'Well you lost the girl you love since like what grade 8?'

"Just like you said 'find someone to make you happy' and I did" She said and went to William.

'I meant me'

'She's stupid'

"You're so stupid, like actually stupid" I said to her making her turn one last time.

"You came here to tell me I'm stupid? fuck off" she said with a frown and hurt in her voice.

She went with William, together.

'Maybe I should just let her be with him'

'Are you stupid?'

'I just want her to be happy'

'Yeah with you'

I walked to my car irritated knowing Annie will only be happy with a guy like William, smart, kind and a gentleman. and I'm just "cocky, possessive and mean" as she said.

As I drove back home I got a call from a friend of mine I picked up the phone and answered.

"You two really should stop" he said once I accepted the call.

"No hi? hello? how are you?"

"No. you and Ben should really just confess already" he yelled.

'What's up with him'

"What?"

"Your girl is here dancing with William from biology class"

'Annie?'

"Where?"

"In a club. I'll send you the location" he ended the call and I immediately received the location.

I remember the girls plan to make us jealous, getting angry.

'She's playing a game with me'

I drove to the Annie's location, angry at her thinking she can just go like that.

I entered the club and searched for her, when I finally saw her dancing with William I started to walk to her but a girl came in my view and smiled at me.

"Want to dance?" she asked me.

'No'

'Hold on'

'Two can play this game'

"Sure" I took her hand as she walked me to the dance floor getting closer to Annie and William.

'Okay act as if you didn't notice her here'

I danced with a girl, Lexi as she told me, trying to not look at Annie with the asshole William.

We turned and now Annie was directly in front of me, I saw her putting her hands on William's neck as careless whisper by George Michael played.

'I may not be William'

'I'm sure as hell I'm possessive over her'

I left Lexi, who didn't really seem to be bothered by it and kept dancing alone, and walked towards William and Annie.

I put my hand on Williams shoulder, getting his attention, he looked at me in confusion then smirked.

"What are you doing here?" he asked

"Move" I glared at him.

"Why should I? I'm happy with her just as much as she is happy with me" I looked at Annie who had her face laid on his chest not facing me.

"Let of her before I punch your face" I clenched my jaw.

'I just want him away from her'

"Fine" he dropped his hands from Annie's waist and backed up making Annie look up.

"What happened? what do you want? to tell me I'm stupid again" Annie glared at me.

"I told you not to go with him and you did twice" I told her glaring at her.

"I didn't ask for your opinion" she glared back.

"You are stupid, because I am the one that should make you happy. only me" I grabbed her wrist gently.

"I don't if you like me or not, but I will do my best to make you like me"

"I liked you from last year, but I won't accept this “she rolled her eyes at me.

'She likes me'

"What? why not?” I asked her.

"You just danced with a gorgeous girl"

"And?" I asked confused.

"Obviously you don't like me if you just danced with a random girl" she huffed.

"Are you jealous?" I asked her smirking.

"Pft no why would I be jealous of you. you can dance with anyone you want I don't care about you"

"Oh okay let me go back to her"

"No" she said immediately.

"What? did you say something?" I turned and asked her.

"No you must have heard wrong" I nodded as an answer and got back to Lexi as she smiled and continued to dance.

The song "hips don't lie" started playing. me and Lexi danced close to each other and me stealing a few glancing at Annie who is fuming and glaring at Lexi she stood up and walked to our direction.

"Can I steal him for a min?" she asked her.

"Sure" she smiled at Annie and went, my full attention is Annie now.

"How dare you dance with her"

"Are you questioning me?" I asked her.

"Yes I am just like you did"

"But I left you with the person that truly makes you happy. didn't you want that?" I said to Annie who responded with a glare.

"Fine I'm jealous. I admit it" that made me smirk.

'She's jealous'

'Ugh how can he dance with her'

'Shut up you are dancing with William'

I looked at William and smiled at him.

"He is dancing with her" I whispered to William.

"But you said I make you happy maybe he is just trying to find another girl to make him happy" William whispered back.

"No he can't"

"I'm pretty sure he can you yourself said it 'fuck off'." he added.

'I did say that'

'But I didn't mean it'

'And now he is dancing with another girl'

He came and threatened William to let go and back away from me telling me that I shouldn't go with him.

"You are stupid, because I am the one that should make you happy. only me" he said as he grabbed my wrist gently.

'He said I'm stupid again'

'Wait'

'Only him'

"I don't if you like me or not, but I will do my best to make you like me"

'I already love you'

"I liked you from last year, but I won't accept this"

'How dare he act all possessive over me'

'Shut up you have butterflies'

"What? why not?"

"You just danced with a gorgeous girl"

"And?" he asked confused

'He is the stupid one'

"Obviously you don't like me if you just danced with a random girl"

"Are you jealous?" he smirked.

'Shit'

"Pft no why would I be jealous of you. you can dance with anyone you want I don't care about you"

"Oh okay let me go back to her"

'What no'

"No" I accidentally said.

"What? did you say something?"

'Yes'

"No you must have heard wrong" he nodded and went to that girl.

He danced with her until I couldn't take it anymore, I go to them angry.

"Can I steal him for a min?" I asked the girl.

"Sure" she smiled at me and left.

'I like her she's nice'

"How dare you dance with her" I glared at Mason

"Are you questioning me?"

'Yes I am'

"Yes I am just like you did"

"But I left you with the person that truly makes you happy. didn't you want that?" that made me mad.

'I didn't mean that'

'I was just trying to make him jealous not the other way around'

"Fine I'm jealous. I admit it" he smirked at me.

I opened my mouth to say something but he beats me to it and kissed me grabbing my face with both of his hands.

"Just like you said I'm possessive and I’m possessive over you Annie"

'AAAHHHHHH'

I fainted.
