Chapter 27:“Fine Then”
᪥Ace's pov᪥
"Leave my fries alone" Cara slapped Noah's hand.
"Let me have one" Noah tried again to grab one but Cara slapped his hand again.
"Ouch" he glared at Cara as she rolled her eyes and ate her fries.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned to see a boy.
'Is that Oliver's friend'
"Um hey, can I talk to you on private?" he asked me.
"Yeah sure" I looked at my friend who nodded at me to go with him.
I got up and went out of the cafeteria with him, I looked at him and saw him playing with his fingers and looking guilty.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"Um, so you know how Oliver kissed you?" he said and looked at the ground.
"Um yeah what about him?" I asked him.
"Stay away from him, he is not worth your attention"
'why is he saying this all of a sudden'
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Look, I know you like him and I don't want to hurt you but if I kept my mouth shut you would get hurt even more. Here see this" he handed me his phone and showed me a video of his friends including Oliver sitting.
Oliver was making fun of me, how I was easy, and how he knew that I liked him. I saw a boy defending me. it was the boy who is talking to me right now.
"I'm so sorry for what Oliver did, I saw that he forced you and you tried to push him away. Stay away from him, I don't want a precious soul like you to get hurt" he said and turned around to go away.

"Wait what--what is your name?" I asked him.
"I'm Mitch, it was nice to meet you" he smiled a small smile and went away.
I went into the cafeteria, still in shock from that fucking bitch called Oliver.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Cara who is sitting next to me asked me and patted my back.
"I was an easy bet" I looked down at my food.
"What do you mean?" Emma asked bringing my friends attention to me.
"I was an easy bet for Oliver, he used me and made fun of me" I said again with higher voice.
"How did you know this?" Annie asked me and side hugged me.
"The boy who came to talk to me showed me a video of Oliver and his friend, he knew that I liked him" tears were begging to leave my eyes, but I won't let them he doesn't deserve my tears or smile.
"Where does he live?" Elijah asked me.
"No don't answer that question" Mia said and looked at Elijah "don't do something you will regret"
"He hurt a friend of mine there's nothing I would do and regret" Elijah said.
'Mia is lucky to have such a good man'
"Now where does he live?" Ben asked me.
"No stop it" Emma said to Ben.
"Fine then" Elijah said and threw a glance at the boys who nodded.
"Hey, are you okay now?" Noah came and asked me as he patted my back.
"Yeah, kind of" I said
"You will get over him, he is an asshole and doesn't deserve a piece of diamond like you" Cara said and hugged me.
"Hey, little guy. Are you doing okay?" Elijah asked me when he came.
"Kind of. thank you for caring" I said to all of them as they smiled at me.

RING BITCHES RINGGGG
God, I have my first class with Oliver, I don't want to see him.
"Class sit down" the teacher came and shut the whole class soon Oliver came late with a bruised face and a black eye as he walked he was flinching with every step.
'What happened to him'
I was sitting next to mason and turned to look at him to ask if he knew anything about Oliver only to see him smirk as he saw Oliver.
"What happened to him?" I asked him as he looked at me, winked and patted my back.
"You know we got your back, right? If anyone is bothering you just tell us" his attention went back to the teacher.
'Did they do this?'
LUNCH
"What happened to Oliver? I saw him all bruised up and flinching with every step" Emma asked.
"Yeah I saw him in class too" I said and Mia immediately looked at a smirking Elijah.
"What did you do?" I heard Mia whisper to Elijah, and he just shrugged.
"Let's change the topic" Noah said.
"So how is Adam doing?" Cara asked me.
"I don't really know it's been a while since I've talked to him" I said and ate my fries.
"You should hang out with him, maybe you will be distracted from all this drama here" Mia said.
'Maybe I should, I mean I do miss him'
"I'll go and talk to him maybe we will hang out" I got up and went to the library where he always sits during lunch.
I searched the library and found him in a corner glaring at the book on the table.
I tapped his shoulder to get his attention, he looked at me glared and looked back at his book.
'What did I do?'
I tapped his shoulder and when he looked at me, I signed "I'm sorry" even though I don't really know what I did.
He rolled his eyes and got up and sat on another table.
'Why is he acting like this'
What did I do?

adam:

Transposition
Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
