I walked into the kitchen yawning, stretching my aching limbs as I see Alex sitting at the table.

I laugh when I notice he's sporting a black eye, his arms crossed over his chest.

"Who did you piss of?" I snorted, poking his soft flesh.

He flicked my hand away and rolled his eye, "Your boyfriend."

I narrowed my eyes, "What happened?"

"He found out about our kiss that happened literally ages ago! I don't know how. I didn't tell him." He seemed baffled.

I burst into laughter, starting to remember our conversation from Alex's birthday when I got a little too drunk.

"I- it's a mystery to me too." I giggled.

Just then, another set of footsteps came into the room.

"Morning." I smirked.

"Hi baby." He said, kissing my forehead, butterflies fluttering in my stomach at the nickname.

"I see you two... talked."

Paxton glared at Alex and then shrugged, "He deserved it!"

"I only kissed her man! It didn't mean anything!" Alex grumbled, earning a chuckle from Paxton.
