Elle McBriar
September 6th 6 months and 56 days since the first zombie report
I physically cringed at Sophias shrill voice.
I turned around to face her, she had red marks on her neck from where I held her.
I reached for the gun, wincing as I turned my elbow to grab it.
"And when the home blew up, piece of it shot inside her. And she should've died, but it didn't kill her, obviously."
I cocked the gun, feeling no mercy come to mind as I aimed it between her eyes.
"Dick move." Penny scoffed. Sophia shrugged, "Radiations over. We're free to live again."
'Can't I just shoot her?' I mumbled under my breath.
My hands were shaking as Sophia got closer, very slowly inching forwards towards us. I could see another syringe in her hand. She was twirling it between her index and middle finger behind her back.
I looked between me and the exit. The door is too heavy too move and run through, it'll take a couple minutes to open it, especially with my bum arm.
So I either need to kill her, or she needs to open the door. So it'll probably be option A.
"Sophia, if you come any closer, I will shoot you. And I don't want to kill you."
Sophia laughed, brown eyes looking around all crazy, "Sure you do."
"Go on, kill me. What's stopping you? There's no rules anymore. No one can arrest you, right?"
I kept a determined look on my face. Penny looked frightened from beside me, "You do this often?" She mumbled, I shrugged, "Only when necessary."
"You want to kill me. If you do, then I'll be out of your life for good. I won't be able to kill you."

I shook away her words, "Shut up!" I screamed, "Do it!" She spat.
"SHUT UP!" I howled, firing one bullet into the wall beside her, "You're good with a gun." Penny said.
"Unless you're scared." I scoffed. "You're scared that you'll feel guilty and your little boyfriend will hate you."
"That's where you're wrong." I hissed, "My boyfriend has killed more than I have."
I didn't think I had the balls. But I'm filled with too much rage and hatred to even think, all I see is red.
I point the gun down, pulling the trigger as a buller enters her thigh.
Sophia screams in agony, falling to the floor as blood squirts from her. She's screaming and crying.
"I'm not scared, bitch. But you are."
My badass moment is over as I look over at Penny, who's wide-mouthed and terrified.
"You work on getting the door open, I'll distract her okay?"
She nodded shakily.
"Y-you bitch!" Sophia called, "Aw, is that all you got?" She cursed and swore, a pale look on her face, "Hurts doesn't it?"
I was about kneel down and make myself look more threatening when I heard a violent scream.
I turned around. Penny was crying, a grief-stricken look on her face.
"What's wrong? Why are you screaming?"
She pointed to her arm, silent tears streaming down her face. A line of crystal-red blood trickled down her arm.
I tore at her shirt, a knife?
"What are you? A fucking ninja bitch?" I hissed, pulling the knife that was impales in her skin.
I know, don't pull out the weapon you've been impaled with. But in this case, it's too big to wrap around it.
The knife clattered to the ground. "I know it hurts, but you need to get this door open so we can go, okay?"

Sophia was standing up now, her jean leg clad with dark red liquid.
"You're brave, wasting time on someone who won't make it." Sophia laughed.
"And you're brave for insulting someone with a gun who wants to kill you."
"ELLE NO!"
A gunshot rang in my ears. It was like a slow-motion video.
My finger left the trigger as the second bullet lodged itself into her chest.
My eyebrows were furrowed and girl as I watched Sophias lifeless body fall to the ground.
Her eyes were open, white and dead. A pool of blood was circling underneath her. Her breathing stopped as did bed heart.
I dropped the gun, hands shaking furiously. I just killed someone.
The thought rang in my head like the gunshot. It's self defence, she was trying to kill me. It's not my fault.
I felt someone grab my arm but I went numb, "Elle snap out of it, we have to go, now!"
Penny was looking pale. The cloth I tore from my shirt was now dripping onto the floor, "O-okay yeah. I know." I said quietly. "Let's go."

The door was a struggle.
But as soon as we got it open I breathed in the fresh air. It was raining, so it was even fresher.
I felt my lungs fill up with air before they constricted and I felt like I was dying.
The anxiety I just felt I- I took someone's life. And I know they had no family I just can't believe it.
I killed someone. This is worse than the hundreds of zombies I've killed.
They were already dead.
But Sophia-
Oh my God. Will Elaine forgive me? Does she know about everything that was happening?
"Elle, are you okay?" Penny asked me.
"Yes I'm fine. This way."
I was leading her to the camp. I vaguely remember where it is due to the fact that I was hiding someone near here when the explosion went off.
At least Sophia didn't take us far.
My whole body shook with fear as Lenny clung to me, her weight shifting as she slipped in and out of consciousness.
"A little bit longer Penny, come on." I said to her, earning a reassuring smile from her.
My back ached, my head hurt and my body felt like it was run over by a bus. I don't know how much blood I've lost but it feels like a lot.
"I-is that them? A-are we s-saved?" Penny stuttered. "Yeah, that's them."
Penny laughed in glee, "Careful not to move too much, you'll- disrupt your wound."
She stopped clapping as we approached the tents.
I could hear loud talking and clanging of metal things. We're getting closer and closer, holding onto each other like our lives depended on it.
The rain is pelting down harder and harder, soaking my clothes and washing away any reminisce of blood on me.
"Hey- they're here! Someone get Elaine."
I heard faint shouts, people calling my name. But the only thing on my mind was the sight of Sophias rotting dead body.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

The second you turn 16 your heat starts. Then for the rest of your life you get a heat cycle once a month, as if having a period isn't bad enough. The heat happens right after your period, leaving you 2 weeks of peace as a woman if you find your mate your 16 years of life! If you did not find your mate at 16, when you turn 17 it will be every 2 weeks! Your period is still once a month, thankfully, but the heat cycle directly after your period is the strongest! Leaving you ONE week of peace...unless of course you don't find your mate by the time you turn 17. If you are unlucky enough to not have found your mate by the time you are 18, then yes it will be EVERY week! Leaving you NO peace!!Basically the longer you go without finding your mate, the more heat you will go through. If you're 20+ then it could be EVERY hour!
