There was a firm knock on the door.
"McCree?*knock*knock I think we need to talk.*knock*knock"
No answer. Nathan stood in fear. He cursed under his breath and spoke to himself a bit.
"I swear to god if you did this Jesse." He raised his voice again. "Please Jesse! Open the door!"
Nathan's shaky hand took a gun from his holster. He aimed it down and kicked the door open. He walked inside and cleared the rooms. Nathan entered the bedroom and when he was sure it was safe he put his gun away. The room definetly looked like someone was running away. Nathan gritted his teeth and fell to the floor.
"Jesse McCree! Godamn you coward. You fucking murdered him!"
Nathan leaned against the wall and sobbed hard. He grabbed whatever he could reach for and threw it across the room. Several things shattered to the ground. Nathan stood and wiped his face. He peered itno the closet and saw that the wall had been kicked in. He leaned in curiously.
"Obvioisly whatever was in here was gone. Probably money." Nathan looked away. "How the hell could you do this Jesse?!"
He held his head in one hand and looked around the room.
"This place is a wreck."
Nathan stepped out of the bedroom and saw a figure standing in the doorway of the front door. It was a tall looking woman with short hair. She slowly looked aroumd the room and put a hand to one hip.
"This is quite the mess ya have here, sheriff."
"Ma'am, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. This is a possible crime scene." Nathan said walking towards the door. The woman stepped into the light.
"Oh I think you'll find my abilities useful, Sheriff Abner."

He narrowed his eyes.
"Who are you?"
A small chuckle came from her.
"I'm someone who knows Jesse McCree. Heard you could use some help findin him."
"And how do you know that?"
Her bright red eyes were almost to alarming to look at.
"Let's face it Sheriff. We all knew McCree was responsible for this. He always leaves a trail behind him. I just happen to be the one who can follow that trail."
"What are you sayin?"
"I wanna help ya find McCree. He means much more to me than justice. I help ya find him if I get a decent pay off of it."
Nathan sighed.
"So it's money you want?"
"Not just money. McCree is a killer who needs to be stopped."
"Bullshit."
She crossed her arms.
"Fine just money, but trust me. Y'all don't know McCree like I do. This ain't the first time he killed somebody."
Nathan's eyes went wide.
"Really."
"Look do ya want my help or not?"
Nathan put his hands to his hips and sighed.
"How much do you want?"
"50,000."
Nathan laughed loudly.
"You're dreamin!"
"Then forget about my help. Good luck finding him. He's probably half way across the world by now."
She started walking away and gave a small wave with her fingers. Nathan stepped forward.
"Wait!"
She stopped.
"Yes?"
"I accept. I got a lot of questions I want to ask McCree. I'll take it any way I can get it."
"Then we have a deal sheriff. We get McCree and I'll walk away with my money."
"Alive."
"Huh?"
"I want him alive." Nathan said.
"Of course darlin. Let's go."
"What do I call you?"
She turned and smiled.
"Call me Ashe."
💀"Whoa whoa whoa Maddy! Back the fuk up! You can't just end the book like that! Are McCree and Hanzo safe?! Where are they staying?! Is Nathan going to catch them?! Why is Ashe now just coming into the picture?! I have so many questions damn it!!!"

8 120Life is Feudal
No OP stuff, status bars, levels or skills. This story is in favour of more realistic setting in a world of humans and various monsters. "Behind the mask of the assertive, resolute facade that employs ruthless routes at any given moment, lies the frail, anxious heart that were once but a puny human. Reviled and revered by many, none would ever know my true allegiance lies within myself, merely trying to survive this mess." Just the life of a grumpy man child living in a terrible piece of shit or a desolate state in which I call an alternate historical take on medieval Europe. Living as a peasant who is forced to take up arms to defend his own kin. This story grants an insightful take on the life of people living under constant danger, from vying nobles who commit atrocities in the name of justice, eager nations and barbarians aiming to take a piece of the bountiful land and mythical divine monsters who resembles a walking catastrophe in any possible way. [If you're easily offended by alternate-history religion and cultural practices, then you shouldn't read this.]
8 141A God's Champion
James was an Operator who had the misfortune to die in battle. Instead of his soul moving on to his just reward, it is intercepted, and James finds himself on a new mission. Asked to be the Champion for Ignatius, God of Embers, he finds himself in a different world, fighting impossible creatures and trying to survive. Their lives now depend on his completing the Challenge and ranking in the top 500. But the odds are stacked against him, and he was a better operator than a swordsman. Chapters released Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:30 Warning: After Chapter 11, the MC undergoes a significant change of class and race. This is due to a couple of factors. The first is that when the MC was created, James didn't know what he was doing, so he picked what he thought would work. The second reason is that he had access to more information to game the system a little. The premise is like when you buy a new video game and decide to play it without RTFM. After creating a great character and making it to the end of the first act, you realize that, although your character may be kewl, it is gimped and will not survive until the end of the game. Going back to the start, you create a new character with the knowledge you gained from playing the game and perhaps, peeking at the manual.
