6-7 years later...
-
Namjoon slowly dragged his feet as he walked into the house with a sigh.
He wanted nothing more but to get into bed and sleep next to at least one of his partners.
"Gosh," he groaned, rolling his shoulders as he made his way to the living room.
"Kim Namjoon. What fucking time is it?" You asked, getting up from the couch with your arms crossed.
"y/n," Yoongi muttered, trying to calm you down. "He just got home."
"It's half past midnight," he sighed. "Why are you two still up? You have to go to work tomorrow..."
"Because you weren't answering your phone!" You exclaimed. "Do you know how worried I was?"
"Why? I've come home late before... maybe not this late, but-"
"You forgot to pick up the kids... Joon," you breathed. "The school called telling me Binna and Hyeon haven't been picked up. Then they told me you weren't answering any of their calls."
Namjoon's eyes widened. He completely forgot.
"I was so worried because my husband, who never forgets to pick up his kids when it's his turn, forgot. And to make matters worse, he wasn't answering his phone."
"Look, guys-"
"No need to explain yourself," Yoongi told his husband, taking his bags. "For you to come on this late and not answer your phone the entire day means something happened at work... Are you okay?"
Namjoon felt something inside break, and he couldn't help but tear up.
"Oh, Joon," you sighed when you noticed a tear rolling down his cheek.
Yoongi immediately dropped the bags and pulled him into his embrace.
"Guys..." he whispered, burying his head into the crook of Yoongi's neck. "I'm so tired. So fucking tired."
"What happened?" You asked with a worried look on your face.
Yoongi gently tapped on his husband, causing him to look up.
"Namjoon," he sighed, placing his hands on his cheeks and wiping his tears. "Let's sit down, and then you can cry and tell us all about it."
Namjoon nodded before pecking Yoongi's lips.
.
"Here," you said, placing the cup of tea on the counter. "Drink up."
"Thanks," Namjoon softly smiled. "You can go to bed, y/n. You have an early day tomorrow, don't you?"
"I don't care," you huffed. "One of my husbands just had the shittest day at work, and you expect me to go to bed. No way."
"I'm sorry about today, baby. I can pick up the kids tomorrow and take them out for ice cream or something," He sighed.
"And why are you apologising?" Yoongi frowned. "The director was being a bitch and kept you busy for no reason. It's not your fault. And you better take those out. They were worried when you didn't show up. Hyeon kept asking Jungkook if you were okay," Yoongi said.

"Those kid-"
"Daddy!" A little girl exclaimed, running into the kitchen with a little boy following her.
"Binna! Hyeon!" You frowned. "Why aren't you two upstairs sleeping?" You asked, picking up the little boy.
"Sorry, Mommy," The three-year-old girl smiled as Namjoon picked her up and placed her on the counter.
"Did you two miss that much?" Namjoon asked, looking at the five-year-old boy in your arms. "I heard you kept asking if I was okay, Hyeon."
"See, Daddy is okay," Jungkook sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose... "Now say your goodnights so I can tuck you two back into bed."
"You okay?" Yoongi jokingly asked Jungkook, who looked exhausted. "These two are a handful, aren't they?"
"Tell me about it," he sighed, walking towards his husband. "I woke up because they kept giggling and whispering. According to Hyeon, he woke Binna up because he felt like Joon was home. So he wanted Binna to come and check if he was okay with him."
"Bless their sweet souls," Yoongi smiled, taking Binna. "How do you have so much energy, hm?" Yoongi asked, pecking her cheeks. "You and your brother woke your daddy up."
"Apologise to daddy," you said, gently pinching his nose. "Both of you."
"Sorry, daddy!" The children apologised, causing Jungkook to smile.
"You can make up for it by going back to bed. You have school tomorrow," Jungkook told them. "Which one of us should tuck you in?"
"Mommy!" Hyeon smiled, kissing your cheek. "I like it when mommy tucks me in."
"Me too! I want to go to mommy," Binna whined, wiggling in Yoongi's arms, wanting to go to you.
"Oop looks like the kids want their mother," Yoongi laughed before placing the little girl in your arms.
You were now standing with both kids in your arms.
"Okay, you two," you sighed, walking out of the kitchen. "Let's go tuck you in."
"Who's going to help her? We all know she won't be able to carry both of them up the stairs," Namjoon said. "And Hyeon and Binna want to be carried."
The three of them looked at each other.
"Why don't you do it?" Jungkook asked Yoongi. "I already tucked them in earlier... And they're your kids."
"What do you mean they're my kids? They're your kids too!" Yoongi gasped. "And you're the one who basically let them come downstairs."
"I only let them come downstairs because they wouldn't stop talking about wanting to see Namjoon! In fact, Joonie should be the one to help. Our kids wanted to see their father the whole day-"
"Uh! Can one of you help me!?" You exclaimed, causing your husbands to look at each other.

"Go ahead, Joon. This one's yours," Yoongi laughed.
"Aw, man," Namjoon sighed. "Coming, baby!"
.
"Daddy!"
"Yes?" Seven voices replied, causing you to laugh.
It was a Saturday. Haru, Seungmin and their kids decided to come over for lunch.
"Damn, does this always happen?" Haru asked, and you hummed in response.
"The kids just call all of them daddy. So when they scream, 'daddy!' They don't specify who they're looking for or want in particular, and all the guys answer. It's things like this that make me happy I'm their only mother," you chuckled.
"I can't believe we're talking about kids. It felt like yesterday when I was in the cafeteria, telling you about those guys and there being a possibility of them being your soulmates. Now, look. You've graduated, got married to them and have two beautiful children."
"I know, right?" You sighed. "Even though it's been four years since we adopted Hyeon and two since we adopted Binna... it still surprises me that we have kids."
"Having kids was always a difficult conversation for you, right?" Haru asked, and you nodded.
"I mean... there was no way I was going to give birth to seven kids... and what if one of the guys and I produced twins?" You laughed. "And... the idea of only two or three of the guys having biological children..."
"Adoption was the best option you had," Haru sighed, finishing your sentence.
"Exactly. And I'm glad we decided on that," you smiled as you watched Hyeon chase one of Haru's kids. "Or else we wouldn't have been able to meet the two beautiful children we call ours."
"By the way, do you still talk to anyone from school?"
"Occasionally," you told him. "Chaewon and Wendy are getting married. I received their wedding invitation on Wednesday."
"No way!" Haru gasped. "I didn't think they would last... only because of Chaewon's previous mindset."
"I know," you chuckled. "And you remember Mingyu? Lia's ex-soulmate? And Sora?"
"Of course, I remember them," Haru said, rolling his eyes. "I'm not in my fifties, you bitch."
"Okay, okay. Anyway, those two are dating! Sora's soulmate didn't believe in the soulmate system and left her... And I don't know the full story, but somehow, she and Mingyu fell in love. I'm supposed to be meeting those two next weekend."
"I'm so happy for Mingyu. I thought he'd be single forever... And speaking of Mingyu... whatever happened to Lia?"
"She moved to the States, and after graduating, she started her own clothing line. But that's all we really know," you told him. "I heard she fell in love with her butler... but that didn't turn out too well since he prefered waiting for his soulmate."
"I-"
"Mommy! Daddy wants pictures!" Binna said, skipping into the kitchen. "Uh... take pictures!"
"Really?" You asked, picking up your daughter. She smiled and nodded. "Let's go! I want pictures."
"She still learning how to form sentences?" Haru asked, and you hummed in response. "But she'll get there soon."
"I lowkey don't want that day to come," you sighed as the two of you began to walk outside to the backyard. "I find it so adorable when she talks like this."
"y/n!" Jimin smiled, pecking your cheeks. "Thank you for calling your mommy, Binna."
"Daddy!" A little boy exclaimed, running up to Haru and tugging at his jeans.
"Jisung!" Haru gasped, picking up the boy and spinning him around. "How are you, my little prince?"
"Missed you!"
"Child... I was in the kitchen for like- five minutes," Haru laughed. "Do you love your daddy that much?"
The four-year-old nodded, hugging his father.
"Gosh. Where's your sister?" Haru asked. "And say Hi to Auntie y/n."
"Auntie! Hi! Hi!" The little boy smiled. "And, hi, hi! Binna!"
"You two were playing with each other less than ten minutes ago," Jimin chuckled. "Anyway, we called you two to come and take pictures with us. Gossip later."
"Gossip? We stopped doing that when we graduated," you told him.
"We all know that's a lie," Jin said. "We've heard bits of your phone calls. No need to hide it, my love."
"And did you guys taking pictures without us?" Haru gasped, placing a hand on his chest. "Seungmin?"
"Seungmin, what?" His husband laughed. "You and y/n take so many pictures without us. It's only fair if we do the same. What do you think, Taehyung?"
"I agree," Taehyung nodded. "Let's take one now."
Seungmin pulled out his phone and opened the camera. "Say, cheese, Taehyung!"
"Cheese!" Taehyung smiled, holding up a peace sign.
"Everyone, just join in!" Hoseok laughed. "Even though fitting 14 people into a selfie will be tricky. Especially because our children can be a bit restless."
"We can make it work!" Jin smiled. "I'll get Hyeon to focus on the phone. Hyeon, my child. Smile and look at the camera."
You couldn't help but smile as you watched everyone try to get into the frame.
Seeing the people who meant a lot to you... all together... made you so happy. From your closest friends and their children to your husbands and then to your children. Everyone.
You couldn't think of anything better than this.
"y/n! Come on!" Haru said, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"Okay, everyone said cheese on the count of three!" Seungmin exclaimed. "One, two, three-"
"Cheese!"

Brilliantly complex, adoringly rendered and quizzically intense. A must read and one I plan to revisit, and share!"- Amgwatts, Wattpad Reader"This has to be one of the most original and well written novels I have had the pleasure to read, on Wattpad and in general. It was captivating, interesting, immersive and above all, fantastic. I was left in awe of the beings, history and world you created. It was never dull, dry or predicable and it was a nice change from what seems to be the ever popular teen romance with vampires or werewolves or 'bad boys that are actually romantic good boys.' In the end it was a very pleasant surprise."-IridescentLies, Wattpad Readerhttp://dawnoftheepoch.weebly.com
