.
"Jin... can you please not go through that journal?" You whined as the eight of you walked to The Golden Cafe.
"Nope. I was planning on reading a book tonight, and I'm glad I've found an interesting one," Jin smiled, and you let out a sigh.
"Not you referring to my old diary as a book."
"Is it not a book? From the pages I read, it's a book of your life, and I guess I could say your mind? The thoughts you had are- well, um, interesting."
You just wanted to dig a hole and hide.
You wrote in that journal during your last years in high school to your first year in University.
As much as you didn't want the guys to read the embarrassing things you used to write about, you didn't want them to read the parts about how you felt after their initials appeared more.
You wrote about how happy and excited you were when they first appeared, but after people began making comments... there was a time you almost hated having seven soulmates.
You couldn't embrace the fact that you had seven soulmates as your mother told you to because people wouldn't let you. And their comments made it seem like being given that many was a curse.
Shortly after the first few weeks of being with your soulmates, you began to feel guilty that there was a time you hated the idea of having them.
That's why you had stopped writing in that journal and hid it away.
Even though you stopped having those thoughts way before you met the boys.
Haru knew how you felt during that time because you'd talk to him about it. Not only because you talked to him about it, but he witnessed it when you two met. But he didn't know that you had written it down in your journal.
If he had known, you knew he wouldn't have told your soulmates where it was because you didn't want the boys to know about that time in your life.
~
"How can she walk with so much pride? As if she's not going to become a whore?" A girl asked her friend.
"You shouldn't be calling her that," her friend frowned. "It's not like she chose to have seven male soulmates. I think she's actually lucky."
You looked at your wrist and let out a sigh.
People were talking about you and the initials on your wrist yet again. As if they didn't have anything better to talk about.
"Imagine being the only girl in a relationship with that many people," a guy chuckled. "Lucky guys."
"Gosh... will she bear all their children?" A teacher muttered. "Poor girl."
"I don't get why people keep talking about her... I have four soulmates. It's not like she's the only one with more than one soulmate," a girl frowned.
"That's because not all of your soulmates are guys. Three of them are girls," her friend explained. "Everyone has an issue with her because she's going to be the woman in a relationship full of men."
"Don't say everyone, Yeon-hee," the girl told her best friend. "I don't have an issue with her. In fact... Why should I? People need to stop making it seem like we get to decide who our soulmates will be and how many we'll have."
You were tired of hearing people's useless comments regarding how many soulmates you had. Whether they were from disgusted people or jealous people... you didn't want to hear it anymore.

And it hadn't even been a week since their initials appeared.
From then on, things just kept getting worse.
People of almost any age would make comments at school, or in shops... everywhere.
And you grew so tired of it, you decided to cover your arms. All though it wouldn't make a difference at school.
"Hiding your arms isn't going to hide the fact that you're going to be the only woman in a relationship of eight people." Someone laughed, walking past your lunch table.
You watched him walk away with a frown because it didn't make sense.
The person who just made that comment had five soulmates. And he was the only male in a relationship full of women.
"Fucking hypocrite. The dude is busy talking as if he isn't the only one in his relationship with a dick." Someone said, taking a seat in front of you. "Hi, by the way."
You only looked at him, wondering why he was sitting with you.
"You know... it's rude to just stare at people who are greeting you. It would be nice if you could say hi," he chuckled.
"Hi?" you said in confusion. "Can I ask why you're sitting with me...?"
"Because I have no else to sit with? My name is Haru, and I just transferred here," the guy introduced himself. "What's your name?"
"You don't know my name...?" you muttered.
You thought everyone knew your names based on how much literally everyone was talking about you.
"I don't think anyone else does, to be honest. Everyone refers to you as the... no offence... but the bitch to seven men or stuff along those lines. Some girl in my class was like... not to hang out with you if I didn't want to get cursed and be put in your position. I told her, bitch, I can hang out with whoever I want to... and here I am."
You couldn't help but laugh. The way he spoke and told the story was funny.
"I'm y/n. Choi, y/n."
~
"Why won't you let us read it, hyung," Jungkook whined.
"You'll get to read it once I'm done reading it. I found it first, didn't I?" Jin said, causing Yoongi to roll his eyes.
"I don't get why we can't just sit and read it. Together and shit," Yoongi sighed. "I wouldn't be even nicer if y/n could read it to us. It's her diary, after all."
"I don't want any of you to read it," you sighed. 'Certain parts of it, at least.'
You weren't keen on the idea of any of your soulmates reading that journal.
Though Yoongi mentioning it would be nice if you could read it to them seemed like a good idea.
That way, you could read the cheesy things you used to think about and leave out the parts where you wrote about your hatred towards the universe for cursing you with seven soulmates.
"Why not? I want to know what you wanted to do with us before you found us. I've got too many of my own ideas running through my hand," Taehyung whined.
"Too many ideas? Don't think of anything weird, Tae," you told him.
"I'm not! I've thought about all sorts of cheesy and typical date ideas. Considering which ones eighteen to nineteen-year-old y/n would choose," he told you.
"Well, I think we can talk about all this stuff later. We've arrived at The Golden Cafe," Namjoon said.
"Damn... this place looks more like a 5-Star restaurant than a cafe," Hoseok gasped as the eight of you walked into the cafe. "Are we in the right place?"

"Good evening, and welcome to The Golden Cafe," a waiter greeted. "How may I help you all?"
"Hi. We've got a booking for eight under the name Min Yoongi," Yoongi said while the waiter checked the system.
"Right. Carla," he called for the waitress who was passing by. "Could you please take them to their table? Table Nineteen."
"Sure. You can follow me," The waitress smiled.
You began to look around the place as the eight of you followed Carla to your table.
The ceiling was gold and black. Some chairs at tables were blue, and others were brownish-red. The lights made the entire place look golden.
"I guess that's why they named this place The Golden Bakery," Taehyung gasped. "This place looks amazing. The colour schemes they have going on are just- perfect!"
While Taehyung stopped to snap pictures, you continued to walk and admired the bar.
There were green plants, fake or real- these plants were the ceiling.
The blue walls by the shelves holding the expensive alcohol bottles matched the dark blue bar chairs.
"Ugh, I wish I had my camera with me," Taehyung whined. "The number of beautiful shots I could've taken."
"Don't you need permission to do that?" Hoseok asked while Taehyung shrugged.
"I'm sure I'll be able to get permission," he told them. "Who would say no to this face?"
"This is your table. I'll bring the menus," Carla told you, showing you the eight-seater table.
"Thank you," Jin smiled.
.
"Damn... these desserts look amazing," Jimin gasped as the plates were set on the table.
"Enjoy your desserts," the waitresses said. "Please let us know if you need anything else."
"We will. Thank you," Namjoon said before picking up a dessert fork.
"Before you eat, allow me to take notes. Don't forget that we're mainly here so that I can gather info for my assignment," Jin said, pulling out his notebook.
"Oh yeah," Jungkook said. "Okay, so I don't know if the fact that a lot of their desserts are Japanese desserts will help."
"Japanese desserts?" Jin asked, and Jungkook hummed in response.
"Yeah, I noticed that quite a lot of desserts are Japanese... for example, the Coffee Jelly y/n ordered and the Purin. Those are Japanese desserts. The green tea and sesame cookies that came with our teas, too."
"Did they take all the menus? I want to check something," Jin asked.
"No. I told one waitress to leave just in case we wanted more," Yoongi said, handing Jin a menu.
"Jungkook's right. A lot of their desserts are Japanese Cuisine," Jin said. "Does that mean I should look into more of a Japanese dessert?"
"Not sure," Namjoon shrugged.
"I think you shouldn't," you told him. "I think you should make a Korean dessert, or maybe even something Western. The Golden Cafe is probably looking for something new and different to its menu. I doubt they want to add more Japanese desserts to it."
"y/n does have a point," Hoseok breathed.
"Ugh, I have too much to think about now," Jin whined. "I think I'll just write about this shit at home. Taehyung, please take pictures of these treats before we try them."
"Yes, we can finally taste them," Namjoon breathed, picking up his fork. "Where to start?"
You picked up a fork and took a bite of one of the mini cakes.
"Holy shit, this is amazing," Hoseok gasped, covering his mouth. "Oh wow..."
And Hoseok was right. Their desserts tasted so good, and you finally understood why people loved this place.
While the rest of you happily ate your desserts, Jin sighed as he placed his fork on the plate.
'How am I going to make something to this level?'
.
When you got home, you asked Jin for your journal, and he gave it to you, no questions asked.
"I only read the two pages," he told you. "Sorry."
"No need to apologise. I don't really have a problem with you reading my journal... I just want to read it first, then you guys can see how cringe and cheesy I was," you told him.
"I'm sure it wasn't that bad, babe," Jin laughed. "I bet you the rest will find it cute."
"Let's hope so," you sighed before giving him a smile. "But I bet you guys will laugh at me."
"I mean... I giggled while reading the cute intro," Jin told you. "Dear diary or whatever, this is my first entry. My name is-"
"Don't recite that, noo," you whined, covering your ears. "I don't want to hear it. The fact that I know it's going to progressively become worse-"
You asked for your journal so that you could sit and read it yourself before you decided to go and talk to one of your soulmates about it.
You weren't sure how to describe what you were feeling.
You felt as if you were being too much with this situation, but at the same time, you felt like it was necessary to at least speak to one of your soulmates.
So here you are, standing outside Jimin's door with your journal in your hand.
After mentally fighting with yourself, you let out a sigh before knocking on the door.
"Jimin? Can I come in?"
"Come in!" He responded before you opened the door and walked in. "You know, you don't have to knock. Straight up, opening the door and walking in like rest is fine," he chuckled. "I'm just not used to having someone knock on the door and ask to come in before coming in."
Jimin was lying in bed with his phone in his hand, clearly scrolling through TikTok.
"And I'm not used to walking into people's rooms without knocking asking if I can come in before walking in," you told him.
"That's fair," he chuckled. "Anyway, what do you need? Do you need help unpacking some of the boxes?" Jimin asked, turning off his phone.
"No... I want to talk to you and tell you something, I guess?" You told him, scratching your nape. You weren't exactly sure how to describe what you wanted to say.
The look on your soulmate's face changed, and he slowly began to sit up.
"Are you okay? Is something wrong?" Jimin asked. "Baby?"
"I'm fine," you smiled. "I just have things I feel like I need to get off my chest," you told Jimin, showing him your journal. "Regarding this journal and my past, I guess..."
"Ah... I did think there was something in that journal you didn't want us to know about," your soulmate sighed. "Get in here so you can tell me all about it."
Your soulmate rolled over and opened the covers before patting the spot next to him.
"So... what's up?"
You let out a sigh before you began to tell him everything.
From the reason why asking for help has been a struggle for you... to how you were treated when their initials first appeared.
You told him everything you felt like you needed to say, and Jimin listened.
"So... yeah," you finished with a sigh.
"Oh, y/n," Jimin whispered, placing a hand on your cheek. "Why did you keep that all in you, hm?"
"I don't know. I just felt like... not being able to confidently ask for help because of my parents... is stupid. Other people who've probably gone through what I have are just fine. So why-"
"It's not stupid, y/n. People deal with things differently," Jimin told you. "When you asked for help with simple things, you have pushed aside. And your parents made it seem like you were wrong for asking for assistance since it's apparently something you should've been able to do."
You couldn't help but fiddle with your fingers and chew on your bottom lip as Jimin began to talk.
"And it started when you were young... so the way you are now is reasonable. It may not be that deep for others who've probably experienced the same, but it's different for you. And that's totally okay."
"You think? The others won't think it's stupid-"
"No one of us would think of this stupid, baby," Jimin told you. "And I can promise you that the boys won't be disappointed or mad at you for thinking seven soulmates was a curse at some time in your life. I thought the same."
~
"All right," Jimin sighed, closing his laptop. "Finally done with the assignment!"
"Gosh, why won't my wrist stop itching?" He frowned, scratching his wrist. "Are the initials going to appear soon? I think they are."
Jimin was actually pretty excited.
He had been anticipating the day his soulmate's initials would appear on his wrist... Since a lot of his friends were already walking around with their soulmate's initials on their wrists.
"I hope this itching is because my soulmate's initials are going to appear and not because I'm coming up with something," Jimin muttered before rolling down his sleeve. "Anyway, let me get ready for bed."
.
"Oh my fucking gosh, what is this?" Jimin gasped as he looked at his wrist.
Running his fingers through his messy bed hair, the male shook his arm before looking at his wrist again.
Instead of one initial... There were seven. Seven initials showing that six out of seven soulmates were males.
As confused as he was, Jimin was more excited that the initials appeared. He just had to tell his family.
"Mom!" He exclaimed as he rushed out of bed. "Ma!" He continued as he practically flew down the stairs.
"What is Jimin? So much noise in the morning for what?" His mother sighed.
"Look! My soulmates' initials!" he smiled, showing her his wrist. "I think they appeared over the night!"
Jimin's mother looked at his wrist with a frown. "What is this?" She asked.
"My soulmates' initials! Isn't it interesting that I have more than-"
"No... this isn't interesting, Jimin. This is a curse. How are you going to... oh my gosh, I just can't," his mother sighed, fanning herself. "Lord, why have you done this to us?"
"What do you mean a curse..." Jimin frowned. "Is finally seeing my soulmates' initials a curse?"
"No... it's the fact that you're saying soulmates is a curse. You're supposed to have one! I don't care if it's a boy or girl. As long as it's one. How are you supposed to love like that?"
"Morning! Oh- what's going on?" Jimin's father asked, walking into the kitchen. "You don't look too happy, sweetie."
"The initials appeared on Jimin's wrist," his mother sighed.
"Really? I'm so happy for you, Jimin! I remember when your mother's initials first appeared-"
"There's more than one initials. Seven different initials are on your son's wrist. Fucking seven," his mother spat.
"What? Let me see," his father frowned.
Jimin weakly raised his arm to show his father his wrist. And when the look on his father's face changed, he felt even weaker.
"What the hell..."
~
"I was always excited... even when I found out I had more than one soulmate. I didn't know how the relationship would work and shit, but I was still looking forward to finding y'all," Jimin sighed.
"From that day, my parents looked at me in disgust... It wasn't just them. Soon my friends and other family members looked at me weirdly and acted like I would spread the curse of having so many soulmates. I quickly became an outcast. And that's what caused me to hate your guys' initials. I often asked why I had to be the one to be like this. Why did I just have to be cursed with such..."
"How did you feel when Yoongi found you?"
"Ah, right. I didn't go through that shit as long as you did because Yoongi found me a month after the initials appeared. Lord, I was so cold to him that day..."
~
Jimin looked at his hand in shock. "What was that spark? I swear I just bumped hands with someone..."
"It's because you bumped hands with one of your soulmates," a male said. "That one of them being me..."
"You're one of my soulmates?" Jimin asked, and the male nodded.
"My name is-"
"Honestly, I don't care who you are. Why should I when I don't want anything to do with any of you?" Jimin huffed before turning around and walking away.
His soulmate's eyes widened. "Wait! You can't just walk away like that!"
"Why not?" Jimin glared. "You have no right to tell me what to do. Being one of my soulmates isn't anything but a curse."
