a couple of days later or whatever ~

"So tonight we're going to the Golden Bakery, right?" Jungkook asked, closing his book.

"Yup," Namjoon answered. "Be prepared to spend money on expensive desserts."

"What should we wear? Formal? Or casual?" Jimin asked. "I heard the place isn't super fancy... it's just the desserts and stuff that make it seem that way."

"Semi-casual and semi-formal. So not too formal, and not too casual," Jin said.

"Do I even have anything semi-formal?" Yoongi sighed. "I think my closet is either formal or casual. Don't think I have anything in between."

"You probably do. We've been through the clothes in your closet more times than you have. You wear the same couple of shirts and pants over and over again," Namjoon chuckled.

"That's not a problem since a thing called washing clothes exists," Yoongi smiled. "And speaking of the clothes I wear repeatedly... has anyone seen that one grey hoodie? I haven't been able to see it for a couple of days now."

"Guilty," Taehyung giggled. "I took it."

"When can I get it back?" Yoongi sighed. "That's my lucky hoodie. I have a practical exam and need that hoodie when I do it."

"You'll get it back when y/n comes home. Your princess is wearing it now," Taehyung told him. "I gave it to her the morning."

"Isn't y/n busy packing this at her place? Shouldn't we go and help?" Hoseok asked. "I thought she was just going to get clothes."

"She said she'd call us when she needs help. Jungkook and I offered to help, but she refused to tell us she could do it alone," Jimin sighed. "You know how she is with us offering to help."

"Why don't we go and help? Would she be able to refuse our help when we're already there?" Taehyung asked.

"I mean... it's y/n, our girlfriend. She might, but I doubt she would," Namjoon shrugged.

"Do you think there's a reason why y/n refuses our help? It doesn't matter what it is... she always declines at first."

"Wait... does y/n remember we're going to The Godeln Cafe tonight?" Jin asked, and Taehyung nodded. "I reminded her before she left. She even said it was good that she decided to go to her place. So that she could find something to wear."

.

"Haru, my love. Did I ever take the clothes we bought that time from your place?" You asked your best friend as you took out a couple of jackets from your closet.

"I forgot to tell you about that! You didn't. Do you need them? Ah! Are you going on a date!?" Haru asked.

"Yeah... I guess? We're going to The Golden Bakery for Jin to help him with his assignment. But it might as well be a date," you told him.

"You're lucky I'm at home. Where are you so I can bring these to you right now." Your bestie asked, and you could hear some shuffling.

"I'm at my place. No, my old apartment. I'm busy packing things in preparation to move," you sighed.

"Oh- are your soulmates with you?" Haru asked. "Nope. Jimin and Jungkook offered to help, but I refused. I don't need help yet."

"Why won't you let them help you, y/n? I know you've got this thing of wanting to be able to do things yourself, but these are your soulmates. You can ask them to help you. Even with little things like this."

YOu closed your eyes and let out a sigh. "You know why I'm like this, Haru. It's just something I've gotten used to doing things myself. I can ask people I barely know for help, but I struggle asking people I know, and I'm close with... is still difficult."

"I know, but these guys are your soulmates, y/n. They aren't your parents. Have you told your boyfriends about this?"

"Tell them I'm afraid to ask for help because I think it'll be bothersome and shit like that?" You asked. "No way. I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that."

"They might be wondering, though. But if you don't want to tell your soulmates, you don't have to. It did take ages for you to open up to me about it," Haru sighed. "Anyway, I need to know... is it formal? The Bakery?"

"I heard it's semi-formal? So in between?" You shrugged.

"Okay. Nothing too formal, but not too casual either," Haru hummed. "I'll check the clothes we bought and bring you something semi-formal to wear."

"Are you not going to bring everything?"

"Nope. You're in the middle of moving. I'll bring the rest when everything is at your new place," Haru told you. "These are too pretty to be folded and put into a box. Knowing you... it'll take you a while to unpack them."

"Yeah... that's probably a good idea," you chuckled. "Okay, let me finish packing. It'll see when you arrive-"

"Before you hang up, you need to answer some questions!" Haru exclaimed. "Don't hang up yet."

"What is it?" You sighed. "It's not weird, is it?"

"My definition of weird and yours are different. So I wouldn't really know," your friend giggled. "So... are you planning on doing the same thing you did that night? After your date with your lovers?"

You could imagine the face Haru was making as he spoke to you.

"I wish I could, but I can't. I'm going to have to go on my period soon. I'd rather wait for it to be done," you said. "The chances of this happening are low... but I'm scared it'll come in the middle, of you know..."

"Ew... though I heard some people say sex makes helps with cramps-"

"Ew, no. I can't imagine having sex during my period. I don't care how freaky people can be, but period sex is a huge no-no," you cringed. "Let's just change the topic."

"We'll talk when I come. Enjoy packing, my love," Haru laughed.

Just as you ended the call with your friend, there was a knock on your bedroom door.

"Come in," you sighed.

"I thought you were joking when you said you were moving out," Chaewon said, leaning against your door frame. "You're actually packing shit."

"What do you want, Chaewon?" You groaned. "You can see I'm busing."

"Your boyfriends are here," she told you. "That's so weird to say. Boyfriends..."

"It's not. One day someone will say: "Your girlfriend is here." Is that weird?" You asked her, raising a brow.

"Girlfriend- how did you know my soulmate was a girl? Their initials are covered," Chaewon frowned, removing the bandage from her wrist.

"I bumped into Wendy at the ice cream parlour she works at. How are you homophobic when you're a woman... and your soulmate is a woman? I mean... I understand if you tried to do stuff with her and realised you two would be better off as platonic soulmates," you began. "But come on. Give Wendy a chance. If you think about it... the girl is hot. And you're not so bad yourself... I guess. Anyway, you two could be a powerful couple or whatever."

"y/n... what the fuck?" Chaewon asked, slightly cringing. "Are you being nice...?" You rolled your eyes. "I'm always nice. It just depends on how you act."

"Don't think I'm doing this for you, by the way. This is for Wendy," you said. "Anyway, if you're done... can you please see yourself out? I have things to do."

"I came here to tell you your soulmates are here. They said they came to help," Chaewon. "They want you to let them in or whatever."

"Really? They didn't tell me they were coming," you frowned. "Thanks, I guess."

You rushed out of your room to see your soulmates in the living room.

"You guys didn't tell me you were coming," you said, causing them to look at you.

"We figured you wouldn't want us to if you knew we were coming to help you pack," Yoongi smiled. "Hello, princess."

"I see..." you chuckled. "Even though I refused... you guys decided to come anyway? Eh... I guess I can't refuse now that you're here."

"Told you she wouldn't send us back," Namjoon said. "Anyway, where's your room so we can get started?"

"You're actually going to help?" You asked as your soulmates slowly began to get up from their seats.

"Isn't that why we came here?" Taehyung asked, getting up. "Did you think we came to sit with your roommate?"

"Speaking of your roommate... I still can't see why Tae didn't like her. She didn't do anything weird like he said she was," Hoseok said. "You're not the only one," Jin told him.

.

"Are you done looking through my photos?" You asked as you placed some more books into a box.

"No. Look at how cute you were. Baby y/n looks like she was such a total sweetheart," Hoseok smiled. "And a total baddie too. Look at that pose!"

"Let's see!" Jungkook exclaimed. "Pft- You look like those kids who appear when you search mood memes on Pinterest."

"She does," Jin laughed.

"You guys will get to look at my childhood later. When I've moved in," you sighed. "Now pass the album. I need to pack it in this box."

"We've surprisingly packed a lot," Jimin said as he folded a shirt. "I don't get why you didn't want us to help. This would've taken longer if it was just you."

"Yeah... why didn't you want us to help, y/n?"

"I just didn't. It's not like I can't do this on my own," you told your soulmates with a chuckle. "Plus... I guess I prefer doing things by myself."

The boys could tell by the look on your face there was something else you weren't telling them.

"You're lying," Jin sighed.

"Huh? What do you mean?" You asked, not looking at them as you packed more books into the box. "The look on your face tells us there's something more to this, princess," Yoongi said. "Look at us, please."

"Why do you think there's something," you giggled, looking at them. "I just prefer doing things on my own."

The smile on your face dropped when you realised the look they were giving you.

"Really... I do..." you muttered, looking back at the box. "Really."

"y/n... baby, what is-"

A knock on your door interrupted Namjoon, and you mentally let out a sigh of relief.

"Come in, Chaewon."

The door opened, revealing Chaewon and your best friend. "The gay one is here too."

"Was it necessary to say the gay one?" Haru asked, Chaewon, eyeing her up and down. "Bitch, as far as I know... there's a chance of you being gay."

"How- y/n did you tell him?"

"Nah. Wait... she did. But, your soulmate's initials are on full display. So even if she didn't tell me... I can see," Haru giggled. "It's okay to be gay, Chaewon."

"What the hell!" Chaewon groaned before walking away while Haru laughed.

"Anyway, y/n baby! I'm here," your best friend smiled, raising a bag. "And I have two possible fits for you."

"I can see that," you smiled. "Come in and close the door.

"I'm surprised ten people can fit in here," Haru said. "Anyway, let me help you guys. Where do you need an extra set of hands?"

Haru looked at your soulmates before frowning. "Damn... what is the mood in here..."

"Nothing," Jin smiled before looking away from you and taping a box shut.

'This is definitely not nothing...'
