"We have some customers," the shop assistant said.
"It's some really hot guys, and they all seem to have a date tonight," he sighed. "Whoever's going on a date with them is fucking lucky."
"Are they that good-looking?"
"Go out and see for yourself. Three of the guys are getting their hair done, and the other four are sitting in the waiting lounge," the assistant said before walking out.
"Let's go see for ourselves, shall we?" A barber said before walking out as well. "Let's go.~"
Mingyu put down his drink with a sigh. "I didn't want to work today."
.
"Alright, what kind of look are you going for... Namjoon?" Mingyu asked with wide eyes when he recognized the customer in the mirror.
Namjoon looked up from his phone and looked into the mirror before his eyes widened.
"Mingyu?" Both Hoseok and Jungkook turned to Namjoons's seat in surprise.
"I didn't know you worked as a barber..." Namjoon muttered, looking back at his phone.
"How would you know? We haven't spoken to each other for years," Mingyu bitterly chuckled. "What kind of look are you going for, sir?"
Hoseok and Jungkook looked at each other when he called Namjoon 'sir'.
"Cut it, but not so short. Something like this, please," Namjoon said, showing him a picture.
"Alright," Mingyu nodded before getting to work.
It was clear that things between them were awkward.
Even the other two barbers could feel something was off. Mingyu would normally conversate with clients, but he kept his mouth shut the entire time.
They had many questions to ask. The two of them wanted to know why the male in the chair called him Mingyu and how they knew each other, but they knew it would be better not to. At least not now.
"Would you like to dYe it? The same colour as in the picture or something different?" Mingyu asked, finishing off. "Is there even enough time for me to dye my hair?" Namjoon asked.
"I heard you have a date tonight... what time is it?"
"We need to pick up y/n around seven, and right now, it's just after one," One of the other barbers said.
"Since your hair isn't long, it'll probably take two hours or less. You should be done by four. That gives you two hours to prepare," Mingyu sighed. "What colour do you want?"

"Uh, surprise me."
His two soulmates' eyes widened. "Surprise me?" Jungkook whispered, leaning forward to glance at Namjoon. "What's going on with our boyfriend?" Hoseok sighed.
"Alright, let me just prepare the dye."
The other soulmates were in the waiting room, unaware that Mingyu was currently doing one of their boyfriend's hair.
"Do you think we should go and check on them to see how far they are?" Jin asked, fixing Jimin's hair.
"Probably. It usually doesn't take this long to cut hair..." Taehyung frowned, resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder. "But let's check on our girlfriend first. I wanted to go shopping with her, but I also wanted whatever she'll be wearing tonight to be a surprise."
"Let's call and check on her. By the way, have you been receiving many notifications of the transactions being made?" Jimin asked. "I wanna see if our girl is a spender like the rest of us," he giggled.
"Not really. Baby might've spent more on the other two," Yoongi chuckled, looking at his phone. "Or she really just hasn't spent much."
"You three talk to y/n. I'm going to go and see what's going on," Jin sighed, getting up from the seat. "Tell her I love her if I don't come back before it ends."
Yoongi nodded before tapping on your contact, pressing call and then putting it on speaker.
"Hey," you sang into the phone. "Hey, princess. Are you guys almost done shopping?"
"Kind of. We've bought everything except for shoes. Prepare for the SMS you're going to receive," you sighed. "Haru's buying everything he thinks looks good on me."
"I'm happy Haru's going with you. That's a true friend, right there," Jimin chuckled. "Minnie? Hey, who else is with you?" You asked. "Tae and Jin."
"Hey, baby," Taehyung greeted. "Hello to you too, Tae."
"And actually, Jin left to check on Hoseok, Namjoon and Jungkook."
"Oh, what're they doing?" You asked, and the boys bit their lips, unsure of whether to tell you or not.
"We were getting our hair done, baby," Jungkook suddenly said. "Kook? You guys were doing your hair? For tonight?"
"Yeah, Seok and I are done, but Joonie isn't. You'll find out why he took longer than us later."

"Ah, now I'm curious," you whined, causing him to chuckle.
"Why is he taking longer than these two?" Jimin whispered to Taehyung, who shrugged. "We've been here together the entire time. How do you expect me to know?"
"Stop being lovey-dovey with your soulmates and get your big ass feet over here! We need to try on these heels if you're going to slay tonight!"
You couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry guys, it looks like I have to go. I'll see you guys tonight."
"It's okay. We'll see you tonight, princess." Yoongi said.
"I love you guys!" You exclaimed into the phone, causing them to smile. "We love you, too!" "We love you, too, baby." "Love you, too. And Jin says he loves you too."
"So why is Joon taking long with his hair? Is he dyeing it or something?" Taehyung asked as soon as the call ended.
"You're right. Mingyu's busy dying his hair," Hoseok told them as he took some selfies. "Damn, this actually looks good."
"Mingyu? As in the Mingyu, we know?" Jimin asked with wide eyes, and Jungkook hummed in response.
"Lia's ex-soulmate, Mingyu."
.
"What's taking so long- am I seeing correctly?" Jin asked as his eyes moved from Hoseok and Jungkook, who were thanking their barbers. Then to Mingyu, who was putting some dark grey dye in Namjoon's hair.
"Mingyu?" He muttered before walking up to Hoseok and Jungkook. "Care to explain what the heck I'm seeing right now?"
"Mingyu works as a barber, and he's currently doing Joon's hair. But then again... we're also unsure of what we're seeing right now..." Hoseok chuckled.
"Just as confused as you are, baby."
"What have you guys been up to while we were getting our hair done?" Jungkook asked, leaning in, to peck Jin's cheek. "Nothing much, but I think the others are talking to y/n."
"Ah, let's go. I wanna know how's the shopping is going," Hoseok said. "Me too."
"You two can go and check her. I wanna talk to Namjoon... and Mingyu..."
Hoseok nodded before placing a hand on Jin's shoulder and leaning in to give him a quick kiss on his lips. "Love you, hyung."
"Hm, love you too, baby." Jin smiled before turning away and walking towards Namjoon.
"You're dying your hair?" He asked as he watched the other two barbers disappear behind a door.
"Ah, yeah... Do you think this will look good on me?" Namjoon asked, and Jin nodded. "Hm... of course. When have you ever dyed your hair a colour that doesn't look good on you?"
"Yeah... I guess you're right," he chuckled.
"Hey, Mingyu," Jin greeted, finally acknowledging an awkward Mingyu. "Hello, Jin... hyung..."
"When did you start working as a barber here?" Jin asked, starting a conversation.
"I cut one of my friend's hair once, and I guess he recommended me to do it part-time. I now work here on weekends..." He told him. "I have enough experience now..."
Jin nodded before moving his attention back to Namjoon. "Has y/n been going all out?"
"Nope, she hasn't. I think she's shy about spending a lot," Namjoon chuckled. "Or she's using the other two's cards more."
"We're going on a date tonight with y/n," Jin said, turning to Mingyu. "So make him look good, okay?" He chuckled before patting his shoulder.
Mingyu was confused. He didn't understand why Jin was so good and kind to him. Even after everything they think he did.
"Jin... hyung?" Mingyu softly asked. "You can call me Hyung, Mingyu. What is it?"
"Why are you being so nice to me?" He asked. "After everything I did to Lia, shouldn't you all be mad at me? Like Yoongi hyung... And bombarding me with questions?"
Namjoon put down his phone and sighed. "You're at work. And right now, you're not Lia's ex-soulmates. You're the nice guy who's doing my hair."
"Plus, how can we be mad at you for what you did to Lia if we don't know if what she told us was true?" Jin asked.
"And Yoongi wasn't mad at you because you left Lia. He was mainly upset because you left him. You were his music buddy..." Namjoon told him.
Mingyu's eyes widened. "Huh?"
"Tell us, Mingyu. Tell us why you really left Lia when you loved her so much?"

Swindle
—A Celebration of all things chess... Shounen Sports–manga Style. Anasthese is the current reigning World Champion for the Junior Chess Female Division. For years, she's wanted nothing more than to beat the Male Division Champion, Rei. These two are considered prodigies way ahead of their age; none of their peers even come close to holding a candle against them. But be that as it may, Anasthese too, cannot hold a candle to Rei... She's never beaten Rei once he's serious. Anasthese has always considered Rei the best of her generation. It's her lifelong goal to beat and surpass him. That's why, when Rei's cancer had become fatal after their 3rd year running, Anasthese took it hard. Rei will die, with her never having beaten him, not even once. Things take an unexpected turn when Rei reveals that he is far from the "invincible" player Anasthese envisions him to be. Even he has someome he could never beat, not even if his life depended on it... a fellow apprentice who studied with him under GM Amane. A guy so-called "Net". This enrages Anasthese. A person stronger than Rei should not exist. Because if he did, then what has all her efforts for the past years been for? And if this Net "does" exist, why doesn't he challenge Rei for the title? Rei tells her it's not that simple... Net's playstyle is void. It's an enigma. It's chess that should not exist, and should physically not be possible to play. It goes against all logic, and it's power is not something that can be measured in numbers. It's something that would "absolutely not work" in a professional setting. Anasthese attends Rei's funeral as a last rite before setting off for Japan, bound towards the disintegrating Futenma Shintenkan Highschool chessclub, of which there are only two members left: Mukuro and Net. She has to see it with her own eyes, a playstyle that Rei lost to... And as Anasthese stays for the long-term, various misadventures are started at Futenma High, including rebuildung the club, Anasthese's "Royal Guards" (four girls dedicated to serving Anasthese and helping challenge Rei) coming to take her back to America, and unexpected guests gracing the local Sports Meet chess scene. From a guy who can only play well everytime money's involved, to a girl who plays on a weird "Magical Girls vs Orcs" chess set, get introduced to the quirky playstyles that make chess wonderful. (Disclaimer: I am not a chess pro, I'm only 1400. Expect me to have no idea what I'm talking about at certain times...)

Doctor // Kidnapped Dreamnotfound AU
Why would anyone bother going to the hospital when they have an injury when you can just kidnap your own personal doctor?Dream. A serial killer who often gets into some messy situations with rivals. Those messy situations tend to leave Dream battered, bruised, and shot. He's not the best doctor, but he knows who is. George. A doctor in training at the hospital that he's had his eye on for more time than he'd like to admit.More explanation: Dream's a serial killer & kidnapper who normally works alone. However he does occasionally work with his friends, one of those friends being Sapnap, but we'll get into all of those people later. Dream isn't good at treating bullet wounds or cuts, despite having to do so quite often. So he does something that he IS good at. Kidnapping. Only this time instead of playing mind games with his captive and killing them after, he's going to be kidnapping someone who can help him whenever he gets hurt, which unluckily for the both of them, will be pretty often. Despite George technically still being in training as a doctor, Dream wouldn't dream of passing up an opportunity to not only gain the much needed help in treating his wounds, but also a very pretty boy that would be under his control.TW's! I will explain everything about TW's in the first chapter as well as other stuff in the first chapter.Updates: Once a week. I kind of just update whenever I want though. The reason being for this is because I have actually written a book in the past and I've found that if I have much more time to write the chapters, they tend to be much higher quality and longer. Which means a better reading experience for you guys as well as a better writing experience for myself.I started writing this at like 3am and didn't account for the fact that I have like- no idea how to treat wounds (overall) but uh- too late now I guess...Cover art by wanderlustlily on tumblr

Fayre
Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way."Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."
