And making it your mission, you did.
It was the next day, and you walked into the massive library with a cup of coffee in hand. Your books pressed against your chest, glasses on and sitting on the bridge of your nose.
You headed towards one of the many tables situated around the place and placed your books down, taking a seat. You brought the cappuccino to your lips as your eyes ran past the many students in the hall.
You had no idea what Namjoon looked like. Your memory from the night you stayed over was hazy. And Jimin and Yoongi had never told you anything about his appearance, so you depended on your instinct to find your soulmate.
Knowing that Namjoon majored in Literature and English Language, you decided you would head to the section where all the English books and books required for your Literature assessment first.
There were a few students seated between the large bookshelves. Some were talking to their friends, and others were reading and taking notes.
Finding Namjoon was going to be a lot harder than you imagined. But you were going to find it regardless of how hard it would be. Based on the number of students you had seen seated between the many tall bookshelves in the library.
But you knew deciding to look for Nmajoon in here first was a good idea. If you, in case, failed to find him, you could get the books you needed for your assignment.
Pulling out the list your professor gave you, you headed to the section to look for your required books.
You had managed to find two out of the five books, and the third was giving you a struggle. The title of the book was just too long and not mention the ridiculously long name of the author.
You ran your eyes across the many books on the tall shelf that towered over your small figure, eyes squinting as you tried to read the titles.

"Oh my gosh, finally!" You happily whispered to yourself as you found the book you were looking for, but that happiness quickly disappeared as you tried to reach for it.
The book was too high for you, and the tips of your finger were barely touching it. Stopping to look around for a step ladder, you frowned when you realised that another student was already using it.
Letting out a sigh, you decided to reach for it again, huffing as you hopped on your toes.
"Here, let me help," a voice said, and you felt the presence of someone behind you. You quickly turned around only to be looking at the man's chest. The unknown male reached for your book and pulled it out.
"You must major in Literature," he said, handing you the book with a smile on his face. You couldn't help but notice the dimples on his cheeks.
"Uh, yeah," you said, whispering a soft thank you as you took the book from his hand. "My name is Kim Namjoon," he introduced himself, causing your eyes to widen.
You were looking for him, but it seems like he had found you instead. "So this is what you look like," you mumbled, but the male was able to make out your words.
"Do you know me?" You nodded, a smile growing on your face. "Yoongi and Jimin told me about you. I was actually hoping to find you in here."
The boy's face scrunched in confusion before his eyes widened. "y/n?" he asked, and you nodded again. "No wonder why you looked so familiar. I can't believe I couldn't recognise you. Tae showed us the pictures he took of you yesterday." "And wait, you were hoping to find me here? Does that mean you were looking for me? Oh-" he cut himself off and nervously smiled.
"Sorry, I'm rambling, aren't I?" He asked, and you shook your head. "No carry on, it's adorable. But let's carry on once we've taken a seat."

Instead of the table you had chosen earlier, Namjoon had decided to take you to a more secluded area of the library.
Taking a seat, you noticed it was just the two of you in the aisle. If Namjoon had not helped you get your book, you definitely wouldn't have found him.
"I like being away from the chattering students. Although they speak don't loudly, the murmuring and whispers are a bit irritating." You nodded as you took a sip of your coffee.
"So you were looking for me? Why?" He asked, and you smiled. "Why else would I be looking for you? To meet you, of course." A pink tint spread across his cheeks, causing you to giggle.
Namjoon was surprised that you were looking for him. He expected to meet you via one of his other soulmates, like Yoongi. But no. You were looking for him yourself.
"O-oh yeah," he whispered, lowering his head. He was hoping he would've been more confident, but he just wanted to melt and disappear. He felt so nervous and shy under your gaze.
"You're cute," you giggled. The pink tint on Namjoon's cheeks was now spreading across his face. He bit his lip as he tried to suppress his growing smile. The sound of your giggles was like music to his ears. He slowly looked up to see you silently laughing.
Your eyes had disappeared, and there was a big smile on your face. Namjoon took this moment to take in your features, examining each one.
"Why don't you tell me about yourself, hm?" You asked once your giggles died down. "Only if you tell me about yourself in return," he said, feeling more confident in himself.
The two of you spoke for probably a total of two hours. You started talking about your likes and dislikes and until you eventually shared some of your favourite books.
"I'm glad you decided to look for me today. I couldn't wait to meet you," Namjoon said, placing your hands in his. You felt the spark between you two, causing you to wince. The burning, itching feeling quickly followed after.
"It's itchy, isn't it?" He asked, bringing your wrist to his lips. You hummed in response as he began to place soft kisses on the mark. "Is yours not itchy?" "It is." You frowned. You noticed that none of your soulmates would ever complain about the itching on their wrists.
"But it's not as irritating as yours. Yours are itchier because you're interacting with all of us in two months. We interacted with each other over a few months or even years." He explained before gently lacing his fingers with yours.
"You're beautiful, y/n," he whispered as he stared into your eyes. Namjoon felt himself inching closer to you. The sound of distant chattering drowned as he focused all of his attention on you. His eyes alternated from looking into your eyes to looking at your lips.
The sudden urge to kiss you was growing, and you seemed to notice that. A small smile grew on your face as you whispered: "You can kiss me if you want."
Namjoon looked at you with his mouth slightly open. "I can?" He asked, shifting in his seat as he moved closer to you. He placed his free on the back of your head, bringing you close to his face. "I can?" he asked again.
Instead of responding with a yes or nodding, you placed your lips on his, initiating his long-awaited kiss.

Apostle of the Goddess
A disappointed man dreams of leaving the confines of Earth and living adventures in fantastic realms...Suddenly, his wish is granted... Albeit in a far different way from what he could have expected. An isekai genre story with a few elements from LitRPG. The overall tone will be jumping back and forth from light to dark. Expect a lot of references to anime, manga, games, etc.It is written in first-person view and will contain a side-story using a "real-life" character. Initially, the MC will be writing the story as a true journal, so the prologue and first chapters may appear a mess of things that already happened, journal entries, and afterthoughts. A few chapters in, it will change into a normal, first-person manner retelling of what happened (storywise the character "Records" what happened to him). This is a side project of mine, so I will be uploading a few chapters per month. Chapters may have a severe difference in length (albeit I will try to maintain them around 3k), but expect the overall monthly word count to be not less than 15k words.Author recommendation, if you intend to follow the story, read the new updates once a month (counting from the day the first chapter is uploaded). Content Warning: I do intend to include a few disturbing moments to emphasize the darkness of the human (and other beings) nature, so please consider that even though some chapters (especially the starting ones) are kinda like a comedy routine.

Patchwork System
Notification (cannot be ignored): For being the first being to kill another of its own species after Sublimation, Lyam Aldren is awarded the Title of Cain’s Successor. Let all fear the Kinslayer!!! Lyam Aldren, killer for hire, was just going about his business when he suddenly received a notification from something called the System. Apparently, the entirety of Earth, its denizens and its matter were transported into the world of the System, planted in 'patches' all throughout the infinite world. The world of the Patchwork System is one of challenges, where life is cheap, power is king, and Classes and levels are a thing. In a brutal world, there is perhaps room for a killer with bloodstained hands to find his own way, free of his past. However, his Title and his inherent nature plague him, his fragmented personality laid bare to those with the eyes to see, and if he doesn't become powerful enough to defeat or escape those who would use or destroy him, he will quickly be devoured by the merciless world created by the System. Compared to my previous work, this is a more 'classic' litrpg setup, with clear (if somewhat complex) progression through levels and skill gains, with a 'system apocalypse' setup. Unlike most system apocalypse story protagonists, Lyam is neither a leader nor is he particularly interested in saving his fellow Earthlings. This is a story of a man who is both endangered and set free by the destruction of his old world, as he finds both power, new discoveries, and adventure in a place where his past matters not at all and power is the only language most speak. Later in the story, there will be harem elements, but the first volume is dedicated to Lyam's first months in the System. For those who are more interested in the Heirs of the Hooded King, I am putting it on hiatus as I rework the setting and future story developments a bit.

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com. This piece of work, after all, is only a first draft and by no means an end product by an amateur (beginner) writer. Mistakes are bound to happen. With that said, I will strive to improve as I write. Feel free to point out errors and inconsistencies as you read. I thank you for your time. Finally, I pledge to not rewrite this novel until the first draft is completed.
