You were now crying, no longer trying to muffle your sobs. Your head was resting on his shoulder. Jimin was rubbing your back and running his fingers through your hair as he softly hummed a song in your ear.
"Thank you," He only hummed in response as he began rocking your body from side to side. Once your cries quietened down, you raised your head.
"Are you done?" He asked, placing his hands on your cheeks, wiping away your tears again. You nodded, and Jimin smiled, quickly pecking your lips. You noticed the wet spot on his shoulder and frowned. "I'm sorry for making your hoodie wet," Jimin looked at his shoulder. "I didn't even realise it was wet, but it's okay. No need to apologise, love."
"Also, is it okay if I call Jin and Jungkook to come?"
Although you wanted to see them, especially Jungkook, to apologise for texting him like that, you wanted to see one of your other soulmates. "Can you call one of the others instead?" you nervously asked.
"Are you sure? I told you they don't mind waiting." You nodded. You were sure. You told Jungkook you were ready the day you two spent time together. Because you overthought things, it made you think you weren't and that you should stay away from the rest.
"I'm sure, but just one. I still wanna take things slow..."
Jimin nodded before pulling out his phone. "I think I know the perfect person to call." He said, flashing you a smile before pressing the contact.
He brought the phone to his ears and looked at you as he waited for his soulmate to pick up. You looked at your lap, fiddling with your fingers as you anxiously bit your bottom lip.
"Hey, Yoon." "Hey, Minnie. Did you talk to y/n?" Jimin hummed in response. "Yeah, I did." "And how did it go? Is she okay? Poor Jungkook is still feeling so anxious. We all are." "She cried-" he paused to look at you, who was now looking at him.
"-but she's okay now. Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to come? She needs a little cheering up and comfort from someone other than me. I'm sure you're the perfect person to do so." "Did y/n agree to this? Plus, Hobi is the one you should be talking to you if you want someone who can cheer her up."
"First of all, I asked if she wanted to see Jungkook and Jin, but she said she wanted to see one of the others instead. And second of all, Yoon, I know Hoseok is our most cheerful soulmate, but I think y/n needs you." Yoongi let out a sigh. "Okay, I'll try to get there as quick as I can."

"Has Jungkook calmed down?" "Yeah, he's okay now, but as I said, he's still anxious."
"Please give him the phone." "Jungkook, baby. Jimin wants to talk to you." Yoongi gave Jungkook the phone, who was resting his head on Hoseok's lap. "Jimin," Jungkook breathed as soon as he put the phone to his ear. and Jimin lightly chuckled. "Hi, baby." "How's y/n? Is she alright?"
"Yes, Kookie. I talked to her. She's alright, baby. She was overthinking things, but I managed to put some of her thoughts to rest."
Jungkook let out a sigh of relief. "Can I talk to her?" Jungkook could hear Jimin asking you if you wanted to talk to him. He pressed his lips into a thin line as he waited for a response.
"Hi..." "y/n..." Jungkook felt like he was going to cry as soon the minute he heard your soft voice. "I'm so sorry-" You were about to apologise, but Jungkook cut you. "It's okay, love. Let's just talk about something else, hm?"
While you and Jungkook were talking, Yoongi was packing a few things into his backpack. "Where are you off to?" Taehyung asked. "To see y/n," He only hummed in response and wrapped his arms around Yoongi, hugging the older male from behind.
"Tae, let go," Taehyung shook his head, tightening his hold around Yoongi. "Tae, baby, I need to go. Jimin and y/n are waiting for me." He whined before loosening his arms around his soulmate. "I promise I'll cuddle with you when I come back. Jimin and I will cuddle with you, okay?"
Yoongi turned around and faced Taehyung. "Promise?" "Promise."
.
You looked around the familiar empty hall. Once again, you were at the back, but instead of being with Jungkook, you were with Jimin.
"I just got a text from Yoongi. He said he's on campus and will be here in a few." You only nodded and cuddled closer to Jimin's side, burying your face in his chest. He had one arm wrapped around you while the other was busy with his phone, texting his soulmates and a few of his friends.
"On your wrist, Yoongi is the initial MYG. Which stands for Min Yoongi. He may come off as cold at first, but he's a softie. He just doesn't show it often. Yoongi acts like he doesn't like it when we kiss or hug him, but we know he secretly loves it. It's on rare occasions where he actually acts all soft and cute."
You nodded again, not wanting to speak much. You couldn't help but feel nervous, meeting one of your soulmates after an anxiety attack or what you'd like to call it was... it was just hard.

You were still afraid, afraid of what people would say. Scared that people will only judge you more. And although Jimin's words made you feel better, the anxiousness was still there.
The sound of the door opening caused you to snap out of your thoughts. Both you and Jimin averted your attention to the door. "Yoongi," Jimin greeted. The male looked up and smiled. "Hey, Minnie."
Yoongi made his way towards the two of you as you hid in Jimin's side. He bent down and leaned forward, giving Jimin a soft kiss. "Hey, y/n." Yoongi greeted once he separated himself from Jimin.
You slightly lifted your head and locked eyes with your soulmate, who was looking at you with a soft smile on his face. "Hi..."
Jimin let out a soft chuckle and ran his fingers through your hair. "y/n, love." You turned to look up at Jimin. "I need to go the bathroom, so I'm going to leave you two alone for a bit. Is that okay with you?" You glanced at Yoongi for a second before nodding.
"Okay, I won't be too long." Jimin leaned in to quickly peck your cheek before getting up. Jimin went his way to the door and wandered out, leaving you with Yoongi.
"I'm the initial MYG," Yoongi spoke, taking Jimin's spot next to you. "I know..." "Really? You do?" You nodded. "Yeah, Jimin kind of told a little bit about you before you showed up."
Yoongi raised his brow in curiosity, wondering what his soulmate told you about himself. "What'd he tell you, hm?" "Well, he told me that you seem to be cold but that you're actually a softie." "He also said that you act like you don't like it when they hug or kiss you, but you actually do. He didn't tell me much other than that."
"And how are you feeling? Still feeling anxious?" You weren't sure whether to tell him the truth, that you were still feeling anxious or lie and tell him you were alright. "I'm alright," you whispered.
"Are you still feeling anxious?" He asked again, causing you to glance up at him. Yoongi could tell you were feeling uneasy. He wasn't sure if you were nervous about being with him or if you were still troubled with earlier. You quickly looked away, and nibbled on your bottom lip as you spoke.
"Yeah, kind of." Yoongi reached for your hand, lacing it with his. The spark took you by surprise, causing him to chuckle. "The initials on your wrist. I have your initials, and you have mine. As well as our other soulmates. We all have each others' initials marked on our wrists. All of us have seven initials." Yoongi rolled up your sleeve, exposing your soulmates' initials.
"People will always say something and comment on something that doesn't fit their standard. But remember, it's their standard, not yours. Us having seven beautiful marks on our wrists has nothing to do with them."
Yoongi brought your wrist to his mouth, kissing the now red and itching initial. "We were paired as the eight of us, not the seven of us, y/n. You belong with us, no one else. I hope you know that the seven of us are here for you. All the time, whenever you need us."
"Everyone already cares about you, y/n. Even though you haven't met everyone, we all already do."
"I'm sure Jimin already told you this. We'll wait but don't ever push us away. If you ever feel anxious, come to one of us." When Yoongi went quiet, you decided to look up at Yoongi with soft eyes. He was rubbing his finger along your wrist, tracing each initial.
You shifted your body to properly face Yoongi. As he played with your fingers and traced on your wrist, you decided to admire his features. His dark hair was sticking out of his beanie. His pink lips were carved like dolls. You had noticed his cute gummy smile when you saw him smile earlier. A light rosy tint was spread across his pale skin of cheeks.
The black hoodie on his upper body seemed big on him. He was wearing blue baggy ripped jeans and some black converse on his feet.
"Can I kiss you?" You asked, quickly slapping your hand over your mouth. Yoongi raised his head in surprise, stopping his movements. "What?"
You lowered your head in embarrassment, trying to avoid his gaze. "Nevermind." "No, I heard what you said. I'm just trying to process it." He said with a light chuckle.
"I thought I'd be the one to ask first. But yes, you can. And after this, you'll never have to ask for permission."

No Easy Mode
Reincarnation isn't easy, Sure you might have a status menu but unlike a video game the training is real, the blood, sweat, and tears are real. Unfortunately for Samuel Erasi Fuller he found out that no amount of video game knowledge can prepare you for a world of skills, attributes and magic and even his top notch survival skills only go so far when there are beasts that shoot fireballs or move like a bolt of lighting. Worse yet there are no levels of skills just a name and description and a percentage display! Edit: Yes the poorly done cover is my personal work. Drawing anything using your finger and an app on your phone was not as easy as the tutorial made it look!

The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
