Valentines day~

Love in the air~

It was Friday, everyone was going around confessing their love to one another, so that they could have someone to spend Valentines with.

M/n was currently in his classroom, thinking of plans to do with his boyfriend for Valentines.

"Should I surprise him with flowers? Maybe I could take him to a movie..?"

He was pulled out of his thoughts when a classmate of his, got his attention.

"L/n! There's a first year here who wants to talk to you!"

The boy lit up and walked over, thinking it was Kageyama. Instead, he saw a petit looking boy, around Hinata's height.

"Oh, hello," he greeted the first year with a smile, making the poor boy blush.

"U-Uh, hello! My name is Ueno K-Kai! I just wanted to give you this!" He stuttered, handing a note to the second year. "P-Please meet me at the gates after school! Thank you!"

"Uh, wait. I have club after school-" M/n was cut off, when the first year ran off to his class.

M/n chuckled, rubbing his neck.

The volleyball team was currently getting ready to start practice, but there were no signs of M/n yet.

"Hey, have you guys seen L/n?" Daichi asked the team.

They all shook their heads.

"Hm. Well, I hope he's not skipping, if he is, he's going to get a lot of drills when he-"

"Hey look it's M/n!" Noya yelled. "He's with a boy!"

The team looked out of the window, to see their third setter talking to someone.

"What if he's getting a confession!" Tanaka exclaimed.

"Huh..He kind of looks familiar..." Daichi mumbled.

"Called it," Kinoshita said to Narita and Ennoshita, who only nodded their heads.

Kageyama scowled, not liking the idea of his boyfriend getting asked out.

"L/n's finally going to get head?!" Suga yelled.

The team turned to him. "What? Just saying."

The (h/c) male ruffled Ueno's hair as they both waved at eachother with smiles on their faces.

"He's coming! Act natural!"

M/n walked into the gym, only to find it eerily quiet..

"Are you guys okay? It isn't normally this quiet..?" He chuckled.

"M/N HOW WAS IT?!" Noya blurted out.

Not knowing what he meant, he answered. "It was good?"

Kageyama's heart dropped. There's no way his boyfriend would just leave him like that...Right?

"So you have a date for Valentines?" Ennoshita came up to him.

"Uh, well kind of? I guess. If they agree to it," M/n smiled.

"What? I thought he already asked you?" Tanaka wondered.

"What do you mean..?"

"They're talking about the boy you were chatting with," Tsukishima said, bored.

"Ohh, Ueno? He asked me if I could work with him on setting. He said he was planning on joining the volleyball club. Why?"

The team deadpanned.

"So you weren't getting asked out?!"

"No? Here look, he gave me the form he had to fill out to join the club," M/n handed the paper to Daichi.

"Oh right, that's why he looked so familiar!"

The team laughed, joking about how they thought M/n was getting a confession.

Kageyama felt relieved. His boyfriend wasn't planning on leaving him after all. The male came up to him.

"Tobio. You're free on Sunday right?" He whispered to him.

"Yeah, I am."

"Great! I'm want to take you somewhere! On a date, for Valentines." He announced to the younger boy. "I think you'll enjoy it!"

"A-Alright, M/n!" Kageyama blushed. "Where are we going?"

"Secret~" M/n smiled at the blushing boy and ran onto the court.

"Behold! The beach!" M/n exclaimed happily.

Kageyama smiled at his antics.

The beach wasn't that crowded, mostly filled with couples spending time together on Valentines.

"I have a few ideas on what we could do, like swimming, obviously. Eating ice cream. Making sandcastles-!"

"What are you? Five?" Kageyama joked.

"Hey! There's no age limit for having fun!" The other boy chuckled. "But...I think you'll like this more..."

The second year pulled out a volleyball from behind him.

"Where did he get that-"

"Beach volleyball! We could practice our serves and receives, while we're on our date."

Kageyama kissed his boyfriend's cheek. "Sounds fun."

The day was filled with laughter and fond memories.

Kageyama getting his ice cream stolen by a seagull.

M/n trying to catch little fish and throw them back into the water.

Him missing a receive, causing the ball to land in a kid's sandcastle. Which he made up for by building the kid a new one.

The two seeing eachother shirtless for the majority of the date.

It was a nice day.

Soon, it was getting close to sundown, and more people were leaving the beach.

M/n sat down next to Kageyama on the sand. no shirt on and his hair wet from swimming in the water.

Kageyama had already dried himself off, but was feeling a bit cold.

"Here Tobio," the second year wrapped a towel around the younger boy. "Was today enjoyable?"

"Yeah, it was."

M/n smiled. "I'm glad."

"Thank you," Kageyama looked into his eyes, cupping his face, before connecting their lips.

It was a sweet and passionate kiss. Though Kageyama started it, the second year was leading it.

Eventually, M/n pulled away.

"Why'd you stop?" The blueberry haired boy said, with a slight frown.

"I have to breathe don't I?" The other joked, before connecting their lips again.

Kageyama wrapped his arms around the older boy's neck, sitting on his lap. The towel fell off of him, as he shivered a little from the cold.

The (h/c) male smirked into the kiss and held the first year close, deepening it.

They both pulled away, panting slightly.

"Happy Valentines Day, Tobio."

"Happy Valentines Day, M/n."
