《•A Beautiful Sight• ~Kageyama x Male! Reader~》✨ Christmas Special ✨

Ahh...Christmas.
The holiday filled with joy and cheer.
The volleyball nerds were very excited and wanted to do secret santa. They were currently sprawled on the gym floor giving and receiving their gifts.
"Thank you, Suga!"
Next up was L/n. He got Tsukishima for secret santa.
"I heard that Tsukishima accidentally broke his headphones.." He said holding the festively decorated bag. Tsukishima perked up. "So, I hope you like these."
He took the gift from L/n and calmly pulled out its contents. There, were wired headphones much like his old ones, except a darker colour.
Tsukishima noticed something else inside the bag and pulled it out...A new MP3 player. He widened his eyes for a second. With a slight blush, the blonde haired boy gave a small bow and said. "Thank you, L/n."
"That's so nice of you, L/n!" Hinata yelled.
"Bwahaha! Tsukishima's blushing!" Tanaka exclaimed.
"Ahh, it's nothing...Yamaguchi helped me pick them out," he said bashfully.
Kageyama watched those two interact and felt self conscious about his present. He got L/n.
"Who's up next?" Daichi asked.
"Kageyama is!" Nishinoya responded.
Then, he felt the team's eyes on him.
"I- uh...I got L/n," he said. "It's nothing much."
He gave the small box to his upperclassman and watched as he opened the gift.
"Woah," the team chorused.
It was a small music box that played the tune to (y/f/s). L/n started turning the handle and smiled softly.
"Thank you, Kageyama. How did you know this was my favorite song?" He asked.
"U-Uh..Lucky guess?" The first year said, not wanting to tell L/n about his trip to Nishinoya's classroom. "Oh, I also have this," he added as he gave him a card.

L/n opened it carefully to find braille engraved onto the paper. On it was 'Merry Christmas' in braille and something else.
He started turning pink at the note, which did not go unnoticed by the team.
Tanaka and Nishinoya gave each other a look and nodded.
"Mistletoe!" Tanaka yelled.
Kageyama looked up and there was Nishinoya on the viewing stands holding a mistletoe tied to a stick.
"Now kiss M/n!" Noya shouted.
"Kiss kiss kiss!" Suga chanted.
"Pfft- King has to kiss his Queen," Tsukishima laughed.
"O-Oi quit it!"
"What did you even write on it?" Hinata asked.
"Nothing! You wouldn't even be able to read it anyways," Kageyama huffed.
L/n was left a blushing mess but eventually collected himself again. "Come on guys, quit it. I was just surprised that's all." He said and turned to his underclassman. "Thank you, Kageyama," he gave a small bow.
"No problem, L/n."
Kageyama...Though disappointed, was glad he did not have his first kiss in front of his teammates.
__________
It was Christmas Eve and Kageyama was at the park, going for a run.
He noticed three figures. One was on a bench close to the other two. Out of the two, one was a little girl and the other looked like a familiar looking teenage boy.
Kageyama got a better look and realized it was L/n. He didn't want to bother them and was about to go run again when the little girl yelled. "Look! There's someone there!"
He froze.
"Woahh! He looks pretty," she said.
"Uhh, hello L/n," Kageyama said.
"Oh? Hey Kageyama," he responded.
"Whaat! You know him?!" the girl, who Kageyama presumed was his upperclassman's sister exclaimed. "Is he your boyfriend?!"
L/n started feeling heat creep onto his cheeks. "Ah- no- He's a friend of mine."

"M/n! Who's this?" An older man came up to them.
"Oh dad, this is Kageyama. He's a first year and also goes to Karasuno."
"Nice to meet you, Kageyama," L/n's dad said as he stuck out his hand.
"Nice to meet you too, sir," he responded.
"Sir? I like this kid," D/n laughed. "How about you and M/n hang around for a bit," he suggested. "And I will bake cookies with this little rascal," he said as he picked up S/n.
"Dad, I think Kageyama is busy-"
"Sure!" Kageyama said, a bit too quickly.
"See? Come on! You need to get a relationship sooner or later!"
"Dad!" L/n said flustered. "Alright! Come on let's go, Kageyama," he said giving a small laugh.
__________
The two of them walked for a bit, L/n's arm hooked in Kageyama's. They both settled on a bench.
"Are you spending Christmas with family?" L/n asked.
"My parents weren't able to make it," he responded.
"Oh, I'm sorry for asking. I didn't mean to bring up something like that."
"It's alright L/n, I get to spend it with you for a bit, so it's not all bad," Kageyama looked at the slightly shorter boy with a blush.
L/n smiled.
"Bold," he chuckled. "Thank you for that gift, Kageyama. It was really sweet."
"Your gift for Tsukishima was nice too," he said. "I swear I saw him smile."
They both laughed.
"Does your sister and dad know about you-"
"Liking guys?" L/n finished. "Yeah, they do. They were really sweet and accepting..I'm very lucky to have them."
A comfortable silence enveloped them. Kageyama checked the time and it was currently two minutes past midnight.
It was officially Christmas.
"Merry Christmas, L/n," Kageyama said softly.
He looked at L/n, who closed his eyes tightly.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
The second year opened his eyes and looked at the younger's faint shadow. Suddenly, Kageyama got lost in his eyes.
"I made a Christmas wish," L/n replied. "It's this stupid thing I do every year."
"What'd you wish for?"
"Same thing as last year...to be able to see properly again."
Silence enveloped the two of them again...Kageyama spoke up.
"Hey..L/n..." he started. "I know this isn't your wish...but I have another gift for you..."
"Hm? Another gift?"
"Yea."
Kageyama put a cold hand on L/n's cheek, causing him to shiver a bit. Again, Kageyama got lost in his eyes.
The both of them started to blush, but not from the cold.
"May I?" Kageyama asked.
The other boy nodded.
Kageyama started moving in slowly. L/n's breath hitched when he felt his underclassman near his lips.
Then...
...Their lips connected...
Sparks were flying everywhere.
It was a sweet kiss. L/n held onto Kageyama's jacket while the younger held onto his cheeks.
L/n smiled into the kiss. It was clear Kageyama was inexperienced and he was no better, but he still enjoyed every moment.
They both pulled away, gasping slightly for air.
"I like you a lot L/n.." Kageyama said.
"I like you a lot too, Kageyama." L/n smiled.
The blueberry haired setter held the (h/c) setter close to him.
They both stayed like that, feeling warmer than ever despite of the cold.
