《The Diggory Sister || Draco Malfoy》41 - A Wicked Idea

I crawled straight onto my bed feeling both humiliated and angry. Silent, angry tears coursed down my face as I curled into a tight ball.

About half an hour later, the dormitory light came on.

"Oh!" Exclaimed Cho, looking shocked at my fully dressed form sobbing on the bed. "I didn't realise you were in here. Draco's been looking for you."

She slowly walked over and carefully perched on the edge of my bed, giving my shoulder a gentle pat. "Blaise told me what happened."

I closed my eyes. The humiliation was real.

"Draco's really upset." Cho continued, gently. "He thought he was doing the right thing. I've told Blaise off, by the way. This is all his fault, you know. He should have told Draco to talk to you before getting him the potion."

She sighed, when I still said nothing, but instead wiped my sleeve over my face and stifled back a sob.

"You could have talked to me about this, you know." She continued. "I've been there. Both with your brother and Blaise. It's not easy taking that next step of a relationship. Especially if you're a virgin. And both you and Draco are, so it's doubly awkward. Luckily for me, Cedric wasn't-"

"Please! Stop right there. I get it." I said, slowly sitting up to face her. "But it wasn't even about sex. Not for me, anyway. Cho, I can't cope knowing that Draco and I are on separate sides of this war. And it doesn't even seem to occur to him, because all he is thinking about is sex!"

Cho just shrugged her shoulders. "He's a fifteen year old boy, Aurora. And his girlfriend just showed him her tits. I'm pretty sure war is the last thing on his mind. I'm surprised he can even walk."

"Cho!" I gasped, feeling horrified at the casual way she was talking about all this.

"All I'm saying is, don't give him a hard time. Believe me, he's probably feeling enough of that as it is." Cho chuckled at her own sordid joke. "The guy is clearly head over heels in love with you, and cares about your feelings very much. Not a lot of guys would be so considerate at this age. I'm not saying jump into bed with him - just give him the benefit of the doubt."

She was right. I had been unfair. I suddenly had the urge to see Draco and apologise.

Besides, I knew my outburst had a lot to do with the guilt I felt about hiding the DA lessons from him.

"He was heading back to the dungeons with Blaise when I left them only ten minutes ago," Cho said, reading my thoughts. "I'm sure if you go now you can catch him before he turns in."

I raced down to where the entrance of the Slytherin common room lay. I prayed and hoped that someone would come along soon enough.

And sure enough, a sixth year boy came along, carrying books under his arm. "Anything for you, pretty," he grinned lewdly, as he agreed to fetch Draco for me.

Less than a minute later, Draco appeared, looking disheveled with a pained expression upon his face.

"Aurora, I'm so sor-"

"No, Draco," I interrupted, placing a fingertip to his lips, silencing him. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have run off like that. You just took me by a surprise, that's all."

He looked down at my finger still planted against his warm, soft lips, and lifted a hand, curling his own fingers around mine, removing my hand down from his face as he pulled me to him.

"Aurora, I really am sorry though," he murmured, relief flooding his eyes as he wrapped his arms around me, resting his forehead against mine. "I should have talked to you about it before going to Blaise. I just didn't think."

"Have you- have you still got that potion?" I asked shyly, my heart hammering as I looked up into his startled eyes.

"Y-Yes," He stammered, looking quizzically down at me.

"I - I think I might start taking it. You know... just in case." I whispered, hardly believing the words leaving my mouth. "I mean, it can't hurt, can it?"

Draco shakily delved into his trouser pocket, pulling it out. "Are you sure?" He whispered, holding out the little glass bottle of clear liquid in his fingers.

"I'm sure," I breathed, my lips tugging into a small smile as he placed it in my hand.

His hand lingered in mine as he returned the smile, both of us holding the potion together.

"I love you, you know," he whispered, his breath tickling my face as he lowered his lips down on mine.

And I love you, too. I thought, as our tongues danced longingly around one another. I love you very much.

...

Pansy Parkinson waited until the filthy creature had disappeared around the corner and Draco had re-entered the common room before stepping out of the shadows.

It hadn't taken a Sorcerer to work out what they had been talking about.

So he was going to fuck her.

The mere thought of it just filled Pansy with utter revulsion. How could Draco Malfoy, of all people, stoop to this?

His whole family believed in the purity of blood. It's all he ever harped on about before she came along. What would his father think if he found out that Draco was potentially damaging that?

And then Pansy had an idea.

An extremely wicked idea.

It would certainly teach Draco and that creature a lesson.

A lesson they'd never forget.
