Yoru cradled you in his arms and whispered sweet nothings while trying his best to stop crying. The overwhelming feeling of losing you left his body as he reassured himself that you were with him..for now. Confused, you gathered all your strength and will power to open your eyes. With great difficulty, you eventually did, but what met your eye sight made you want to close them again.
Your eyes met with his ocean blue eyes which glistened because of his tears. You were baffled at his state. He looked absolutely horrible. His eyes were puffy and he looked exhausted. In short, he looked like he hasn't slept in days. "Oh, princess. You're awake!"
Yoru tightened his hold on you, but not enough to cause pain. You let out a sound of discomfort as you felt his skin against yours. You felt so uncomfortable. Yoru's face morphed into sadness as he noticed your discomfort. He carefully let go of you and fixed your pillow to make sure you were comfortable.
