《REQUIREMENTS | DRACO MALFOY》34 | Draco In The Closet

Hermione was able to tie Ron to the bedpost so he couldn't escape and tell Harry what he had just seen.

Which was: Draco falling out of my closet, tangled up in my robes.

I mean, I've seen Ron scared before, but this was definitely a step up from a forest full of spiders for him. He was trying to wriggle his way free wildly, his eyes bugged out of his head, and a hand whipped out towards the Slytherin on the other side of the room.

"Stalker!" The red-head yelled, squirming around, "how long have you been spying on [y/n]?!"

Sigh, this was going to be a long night.

I rolled my eyes, glancing at Hermione in a mixture of disappointment and disbelief, "Ron..."

"How long have you been hiding in her closet?!"

Seeing the boy at such a disadvantage obviously made Draco more inclined to jump in. He pulled up a small chair, placing it at the end of the bed and sitting down with a smirk.

"Twenty seven years," he smirked, "it's become my second home."

I frowned, "Draco, you're making this worse."

"Sorry, love, I can't help it."

"NO, no, no, NO!" Ron squirmed, "why the bloody hell did Malfoy just call you love???"

When Ron was stressed, he lost all sense of intelligence. He clearly couldn't deduct the obvious answer to that question, and Hermione could confirm based on the pressed look on her face. Draco looked like he was about to let out a snort of laughter.

"Malfoy was snogging Pansy in the bathroom!" Ron whimpered, pressing himself as far away from the Slytherin as possible, "and now he's here to kill me because I told you guys the secret!"

"Ron..." I sighed.

"Why won't you two help me?"

"Because Draco wasn't snogging Pansy," I said bluntly, "he was snogging me."

I swear the life drained out of Ron's eyes as soon as I said those words. Maybe not just his life, but his soul entirely. He sat there frozen, a lump of disbelief and a stone rock of defiance. The three of us just stared at him. He needed to accept this for himself.

Finally, after what felt like five whole minutes, Ron spoke.

"Does Harry know?" He squeaked out.

I shook my head, "no, Harry doesn't know."

"Harry's gonna know."

"Harry's not going to know."

"He's gonna know!"

"He's not!"

There was a pause, where Ron just stared at me with horror in his eyes. He glanced towards Draco, then back to me, then back to Draco, and then back to me. It was starting to dampen my mood.

"Draco Malfoy," he muttered to himself, "out of all people."

"Watch your mouth, Weasley," Draco hissed, "I'm still sitting here."

If I was being honest, I think Ron was taking this fairly well. Not the best, but still better than the first time Hermione found out, considering he didn't seem to threaten to bring me back from the dead just to get an answer out of me—not to mention, Draco himself was here to scare him out of his wits.

Ron turned to me, his lip quivering, "is this why you were wearing Slytherin robes that day?"

Blimey, Ron.

"Yes, you idiot," Hermione frowned, swatting him with her hand, "I'm appalled you and Harry didn't figure it out on your own!"

"How was I supposed to know?!"

"How didn't you know?!"

As the two began to bicker like an old-married couple, Draco wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his lap. He was only doing it to tease Ron in front of me, but I didn't mind.

"I think I'm going to be sick..." Ron said, his face flushing pale, "Malfoy is making me sick."

Draco wrinkled his nose, "don't Malfoy me, Weasel."

"I can Malfoy you any day!"

"Wow, clever response, you got me there."

"Stop being sarcastic!"

"Stop being pathetic!"

Hermione frowned, leaning towards me to whisper under her breath. We were clearly both tired of watching the blond and the redhead bicker, and at this point, they might as well wake the entire school with the rate they were shouting.

I planned on using a silencing spell before, but not for this reason.

"He's not taking this well," Mione' sighed, rubbing her forehead stressfully, "I'm debating on obliviating him."

"I'd agree with you there."

Draco finally broke his heated debate, turning towards me with a smile on his face. I cocked a brow in response.

"Twelve quid he'll actually puke if I kiss you in front of him," Draco grinned, "wanna try?"

I rolled my eyes, turning back to the red-head, "Ron, it's okay."

The boy screamed, "NO!"

Tonight is another great day to pitch myself off of the astronomy tower.

"Whatever, then," I said, standing onto my feet, "I'm not going to waste my time seeking his approval. He'll get over it eventually."

Hermione nodded her head in agreement, giving up on the situation and returning to her bed promptly. But this was still a mess. This was a very big mess. I would have begun to scream my head off about it, but I managed to hold my tongue and observe what was happening in the room.

Draco just sat there, smirking deviously at the red-head in front of him.

"Hello Weasel," he said, wiggling his fingers, "wanna hear a secret?"

Ron whimpered, "no."

"I'm going to tell you the secret."

"Please don't."

That just made Draco want to do it more.

"Every night, the Slytherins all gather in the common room and dance in a circle," he said, wiggling his fingers deviously, "and then we start chanting Ronald Weasley, Ronald Weasley, Ronald Weasley..."

"Liar!"

"Ronald Weasley, Ronald Weasley..."

"He's going to kill him," I muttered under my breath, plopping down next to the girl a few paces away, "this is ridiculous."

She shrugged, continuing to finish the book she previously had, "I like seeing Ron scared."

"I agree, it's very amusing."

Draco was still weaving up his ridiculous stories, "then we all run into the corridors to terrorize first years."

Ron started to cry.

"And then we all sneak into closets so we can spy on Gryffindors."

Ron was sobbing now.

"But now that you've caught me, I'll just have to kill you, Weaselbee."

"Okay, that's enough," I sighed, dragging Draco towards the door, "time to go, Malfoy."

And with that, I grabbed the boy's hand, twisting open the door to my room, and dragging the Slytherin off towards the common room door. We'd speak about this later.

I just had to deal with Ron's crying at the present moment.
