Who did this to him? "Hey, Jungkook? Wake up!" I tried to shake him hoping that he would wake up. He slowly opened his eyes. And as soon as he saw me, he jerked my hand. And tried

He tried to get up but it was hard for him to do so because of his wounds.

He still didn't let me help him. Stubborn guy!

He managed to make himself lean against a rock.

"Get out of here." He uttered. "You are bleeding a lot. Let me help you." I spoke as I tried to some concern.

He looked at me sternly. "I said get out." He repeated making me scoff at his behaviour. "Don't you think you are being rude? I am trying to help you right now." Seriousness can be felt in my words but I don't think it effected him.

"No one asked for your help. And I am not into repeating myself." He didn't even spare a glance at me while speaking.

"Die here." I stormed out of the cave.

As soon as I got out, the rain attacked me. I forgot that it is raining. I regretted my decision on getting out of the cave. But I can't go in after what I said earlier.

I groaned in frustration.

I looked around hoping to find another suitable shelter. I could no longer stand over there cuz it was pouring heavily. I might instantly catch a cold.

I left from there and searched for a place again but I couldn't find a proper one. I decided to take shelter under a huge tree as there is no hint of a place with a roof.

The rain didn't stop for like 30 minutes and then it slowly reduced.

"Ah, finally! The sun is out." I got up to feel the sun after a long session of cold weather.

I seriously didn't know where I am going cuz I am not at all familiar with this place. And it's a forest on top of that. What if I get lost?

And mainly, I shouldn't have left him there. He was bleeding severely. He might die.

I felt bad for being so rude with him, now he really won't say yes to go to missions with me.

I suddenly remembered Old Man's words.

Uh, I don't want to go to missions alone and die nor I want to abandon myself in the forest and die in the hands of Wild Beasts." I whined like a kid.

Should I go to the cave and apologise? That might work out, I guess.

Hoping that, I hesitantly started going towards the cave. It took me a couple of minutes to get there. But I couldn't bring myself to step in.

"JUNGKOOK!" I shouted hoping to get his response. But I got none. I stepped in the cave with a worried mind just trying to get rid of the 'He is dead' thought.

I searched the whole cave but didn't see him. I was relieved that he is dead and just went out of here. But now where did he go with those wounds?

I exited the cave and looked around. Great, I lost him.

"Hey Y/n, if you don't want to die again, just search for him." I tried to make up mind into a stubborn one.

TIME SKIP...

It's been an hour approximately since I started walking. And no trace of him. I am sure, I must have lost weight by walking all this time.

I heard the sound of swaying water behind these small trees here. And I just realised that I was thirsty all this while.

I slowly moved towards these small trees. I walked passed them saw a small river. And there, I saw a figure. And it was the person whom I am hoping to be. Jungkook.

I moved and covered myself in the long grass as I tried to observe his moves sneakily. As I took a closer look at him, I realised that his wounds are no more on his body now.

His wounds are better? That's impossible were my thoughts. Normally, those wounds take atleast 10 months to heal and it hasn't even been an hour. Did my eyes finally betray me?

"Stop hiding and show yourself." I heard him speak. So, he knew that I was hiding behind him. I sighed and slowly got out. He diverted his attention to me.

"Didn't you get eaten already?" He spoke. "What do you mean? You wanted me to die?" I spoke not being able to believe his words. He slowly looked at me. "Aren't you the one who cursed me to die?" His words made me gulp.

"I w-wasn't serious. I didn't mean it." He raised his eyebrow making me flash an awkward smile.

"Why are you here?" He came straight on point which I failed to do. "Old Man- I mean the Innkeeper of Hell asked me to make you go to missions with me. That's why I am here." I put it as it is without changing a single word.

He laughed as soon as he heard me.

"Missions with you? I would better go alone instead of going with someone like you." He definitely angered me. "What do you mean?" My angry self was visible.

Y/n, calm down. You can't burst out now, your life depends on your behaviour now. I tried to convince myself.

"I don't care what you think of me. I just want you to go to missions with me." I spoke as quick as I can.

"Sure." He managed to give me a shock with just a single word. "You agreed?" I asked him trying to make sure what I heard was right.

"Yes but..." I continued to listen. He came a bit closer to me.

I looked at him.
