His words dropped me into a shocked state.

Suddenly, the door opened revealing...

Our eyes took seconds to meet each other. I couldn't even blink because of how shocked I was. His eyes should absolute coldness as usual.

So, is this guy my partner now? I guess, I did something wrong in my previous life cuz the punishment is too much. These thoughts took over my mind.

"Jungkook, don't you know the timings? Why are late?!" Old Man shouted as he threw the papers with complete anger shown in his eyes.

I slowly turned to Jungkook, let alone being bothered me...he didn't even pay attention to what Old Man was saying.

He is way too rude.

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!" Old Man shouted again trying to get his attention. Jungkook didn't bother to take a look.

"Jungkook, your partner is Y/n." The In-charge of heaven spoke.

Jungkook's gaze slowly turned to me. I could see him smirk. Such a creep!!

"Come to my room after this." Old Man said to Jungkook and left from here. Jungkook didn't bother as usual. His actions managed to make me sigh.

The class continued. It was boring not to mention. Jungkook slowly got up and left from here. But no one tried to complain.

"That's it for today. Your missions are going to start soon." The Incharge of Heaven left from here after informing.

Jennie and I got out of the classroom. She slowly looked at me.

"I really don't know how I should pity you now." Jennie said while looking at me. I remembered about my partner. I kept my head down.

"I am sure, I will die." I blinked my eyes.

Jennie sighed.

"Well anyways, to set your mood right I am gonna show you an interesting place." Jennie showed enthusiasm.

I slowly looked at her.

AFTER A WHILE...

Jennie took me to the place she had mentioned. I just followed her without complaining.

"Here we are." Jennie said as she stopped walking. I slowly moved to her side and looked at the view.

I gasped as I caught Jennie's hand. There is no ground seen after a few inches. The place infront was covered with clouds. If someone falls into those clouds, there is 0% of survival.

"Hey, don't be scared." Jennie looked at me.

I slowly peeked down through those clouds.

"Goodness." I quickly looked away.

"Hey, why did you bring me here? Do you want to kill me by pushing me down?" I growled at her.

She laughed a bit. "No, not at all."

"What is this place then?" I looked at her with a scared expression. She slowly turned to me. "To do the missions, we need to go down to earth. And if we want to go to Earth, we need to jump from into these clouds in order to reach Earth." She said while pointing down at these clouds.

Are these people for real? I don't wanna die again.

She raised her eyebrow expecting a reply from me removing this silence. I slowly looked down through those clouds again.

"This place is known as 'Entrance of Earth'." She let out the name of this death seeking place.

"Let's go, I can't bear to stand here anymore." I said while looking at her laughing face. "It isn't funny." She still continued to laugh. I glared at her making her control her laugh.

"Okay, okay...I will stop."

I sighed. As per my words, we left from that. Place.

I asked her a question, of course out of curiosity, "Do we really need to jump from that place to go to earth?" I clearly avoided eye-contact. She looked at me and laughed again.

This girl really gets on my nerves.

"Stop laughing and get to the point." I demanded. She cleared her throat. There was a minute of silence. I slowly looked at her.

"We use our wings." Her sentence made me stop on my tracks.

"Wings?" She nodded. This is already a child's fantasy world. And what now, wings? Completely ridiculous.

"No matter how much I try to, I am still not able to believe it." I tried to express my suppressed feelings.

"What do you want me to do if you don't believe it?" She showed no interest in my words as usual.

"Do you want me to show you my wings to make you believe it?" Jennie smiled me. She has wings? "You have wings? I can't see them." I spoke while focusing my eyes on her back.

"I can make them appear when they are needed. Flying is one of the specialties of Angels and Demons." Believing all of these words from her is really too much for me to engulf.

"Y/n, even you have wings. It's just that you will take time to obtain absolute control on your powers." She spoke as she looked at me. She left me dumbfounded with her words.

"Oh, one more thing your wings will decide whether you are an Angel or a Demon." She pointed her finger at me while finishing her sentence.

"How so?" I asked her. "By color, Angels have white wings and Demons have black wings."

"Oh." I replied.

AFTER TWO DAYS....

It's been two days since the partners had been announced. We didn't have classes for these two days cuz our training is gonna start from today. Right, our missions are going to start today.

Jennie told me about it. And I am so tensed right now. My partner is none other than that pervert. It's obvious that this won't end up well. And this is literally driving me crazy.

Jennie started dragging me as we were late again. This time, instead of the classroom, she took me to the The Entrance of Earth.

"Hey, why are we here?" I asked her. "Did you forget? Our missions are going to start from today." She answered me.

"Wait, are we going to Earth with our partners now...to complete the missions they give us?" She nodded. I stopped on my tracks.

Jennie slowly turned to me. "What happened?" She asked me.

"I have some thing to ask you now. So, answer me without wasting time." She completely turned her body to face me. "What?"

"Do I have to go with Jungkook to Earth just to complete our mission? Are we going to jump into those clouds to reach the earth? What if I die?"

She sighed hearing my questions.

"Yea, you have to go to Earth with Jungkook cuz he is your partner. Yeah, we need to jump into those clouds to reach Earth. Nah, you won't die cuz you will use your wings." Jennie answered.

"Jennie, I don't have wings." I made her realise. "Then Jungkook will help you." She spoke while looking at me.

"Are you kidding me? That pervert! No way." I looked away. "You have no choice, sweetheart." I looked at her.

AFTER A WHILE....

We reached The Entrance of Earth after walking for a while. I saw all the students assembled over there. Even Old Man and Incharge of Heaven were there.

But Jungkook wasn't here.

Old Man started giving missions to the pairs. Those missions, I still don't know what they are like and that pervert is still not here.

Jennie and her partner already got her mission. She waved at me as she was about to go to Earth.

Suddenly, I saw her wings rise from her back. The sight was beautiful, her wings seemed to be smooth and silky.

And then, she jumped along with her partner. Lord, She freakin' jumped. I tried to calm down as I took a long breath.

After a while, everyone left one by one leaving me here alone. And that perverted Jungkook guy is still not here. What am I even supposed to do now?

Old Man slowly walked towards me making me look atbh9k as he spoke.

"I guess, your partner is still not here." I nodded making him let out a deep sigh.

And then he spoke.

I blinked my eyes.
