Condition with a Condition: A technique to make your Nen more powerful. You put a condition on your Nen and then make a rule to always follow it. This technique comes at a risk of losing your Nen or even life. For example, Kurapika gave his Chain Jail a huge amount of Nen and the power to force someone into a state of Zetsu. His first condition is that he can only use it on the Phantom Troupe. As a rule, he will die if he doesn't follow this condition.
In: An advanced form of Zetsu that conceals your aura when in use.
Gyo: Focusing your Nen on a certain part of your body. Using Gyo on your eyes allows you to see through In.
En: An advanced form of Ten that allows you to widen the of your Ten. You can sense anyone who is in that range.
Shu: The process of expanding your Ten to other objects to make them stronger.
Ko: Focusing your aura on a part of your body to make it stronger,
Ken: Combining Ten and Ren. This is an appropriate defense against Ko.
Riyu: Using Gyo in order to change the percentage of aura in different parts of your body.

Using the highest technology of the their era which was labelled """"Black technology"""" which was banned to regular civilians and only allowed for military use , they wiped their only son's memories and instead implanted memories of the greatest martial artists and styles of combat that Earth had ever recorded in hopes he would be able to survive the new world that would be created by the exposure of radiation, placed him in a cryogenic stasis craft and sent him out of the Earth's orbit. However, the test reactor went above their expectations and completely and thoroughly destroyed Earth. The cryogenic stasis craft had been blown into a wormhole and after a few hundred years, it's autopilot had been finally once more been engaged.

Furthermore, as of the beginning of this novel, my intention with this novel is to explore negative emotions and use my writing as a form of meditation/therapy. When I am sad, I will write sad things, and when I'm happy, the story will be happy. Lastly, there will be religious undertones every once in a while. Hopefully nothing too heavy handed though.

This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
