《Rick and Morty x Reader Oneshots》Tickle Fight (Young! Rick x Reader)

I stretched out on the couch and made myself comfortable. I moved the cushions so I had more space to sit and also added a really soft blanket. I messed around with my phone for a few minutes and pulled up Netflix. As I started scanning through the titles, a huge green portal appeared in the middle of the room and quickly closed as Rick stepped out of it.

“Hey, Rick.”

I said, not taking my eyes off the screen. I was so used to Rick coming over by now that it didn’t surprise me. For whatever reason, he really wanted to chill out with me more lately. I tried to ask plenty of times, but he always said he needed a break from the house, or asked if I didn’t want him there. But the thing was, I wanted him with me so much it almost hurt. I just couldn’t understand why he was coming over so much more often… Oh, well.

“Hey, (Y/N).”

He replied in his deep voice. He pulled his flask from his white lab coat and started drinking out of it. After he got a good gulp down, he wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He slid the flask back into his pocket.

“So, what ‘eugh’ are you up to?”

I blushed a tiny bit and looked up at him.

“I’m just trying to get a show up on Netflix…”

“Who needs N-Netflix when you have ‘eugh’ inter-dimension TV?”

He went over to my cable box and hooked some type of invention up to it. He then started digging through the couch cushions and found the remote buried in them. He flicked the TV on and started searching through channels. I turned my phone off and smirked to myself, stuffing the phone in the couch cushions to be found later. I realized that there really wasn’t a good place for him to sit so I scooched over a bit and made some room on the couch. He didn’t seem to notice yet.

“Y -‘eugh’- You okay with Ball Fondlers?”

He asked.

“Ball Fondlers is always good, Rick.”

I said. He turned to me and smiled, putting it on and then sitting on the couch. I felt butterflies in my stomach and moved to the far end of the couch to give him some more room, and also to not mess anything up. After a few minutes, Rick looked at me and frowned.

“You don’t h-have to be so far away from me…”

He mumbled. I felt heat rise up to my cheeks and burn my ears as I got so close to Rick that our shoulders were touching. He smiled down at me, making me blush harder. I managed to smile back. His cheeks got a little pink and he turned away. He put his arm on the back of the couch, right above my shoulders but not touching them at all. I leaned my head against his shoulder and watched Ball Fondlers with him. By the time it was over, we were both laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes. My stomach started to ache, so I rolled down onto the floor and curled up, holding my stomach and whimpering/laughing at the same time. Rick dropped down next to my side and rubbed my shoulder. Our laughter started to calm down a bit and I noticed that he was also holding his stomach from laughing so hard. It made me feel really good to see him that happy. I uncurled from my position and stretched out on the floor. As I stretched my arms, he saw his opportunity and hurried to tickle my ribs.

“F-f-fuck, R-Rick, stop!”

I yelled and squirmed while trying not to laugh too much.

“No can ‘eugh’ do, baby.”

He smirked as he tickled me and I tried to squirm away. I got close enough to the couch that I could grab a pillow. I didn’t waste any time picking one up and I hurried to throw it at him. He stopped tickling me for a moment and I hurried to get up so he couldn’t tickle me anymore.

“Th-that’s it!”

He yelled in playful anger.

“Oh shit!”

I yelled and started running away from him. I still hadn’t caught my breath from the tickle fight and laughing so hard. My side started to hurt as I ran up the stairs. Rick hadn’t seen me, so he started searching elsewhere. I took this time to hurry up and hide somewhere in my bedroom. I silently thanked the people who made the house I lived in for putting in a false wall with a tiny door that was unnoticeable. I giggled as I slipped in there and hid behind the wall.

“Come on ‘eugh’ out, (Y/N)! You can’t h-hide forever!”

He called. I blushed and giggled harder. I realized I needed to keep quiet so I clamped my hand over my mouth and tried to slow my breathing. He kept searching the lower level and never even checked upstairs. I sighed in relief and leaned against the non-fake wall, when a familiar green portal appeared next to me, and again, out came Rick. I started to crawl next to the corner, hiding from his wrath. I really didn’t want any more tickles.

“H-how’d you even find me up here?!”

“I know things that ‘eugh’ others don’t, (Y/N).”

I felt the floor for something to give off light and found a lantern. I pressed the on button and rested it on the floor so we could at least see. Rick was smirking down at me. My neck began to burn. I slowly crawled over to the exit from the false wall and as quick as I could, I left him in there.

“There’s n-nowhere to hide!”

He yelled and started to chase me. My laughter filled the stairway as I ran back towards the couch. He was so close behind me that he tackled me into the couch, making me laugh harder. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close. I blushed and sighed audibly, loving the way his arms around me felt.

“Wh-what was the sigh ‘eugh’ for?”

I blushed even harder.

“N-nothing!”

I turned a bit in his arms so I could see him. He raised his unibrow for a moment, but soon realized what was going on and smirked.

“C’mon, ‘eugh’ (Y/N). I’m not dumb. J-Just say it~”

His own cheeks looked a bit red. I gulped and closed my eyes.

“I kind of really, um…”

I tried. I felt his hand reach up to touch my face. He traced his thumb on my cheek.

“C’mon…”

“I really… really like you…”

I mumbled and buried my face in his lab coat.

“There you go, baby. That’s ‘eugh’ all I wanted to hear.”

I stayed silent, waiting for him to tell me what he felt about what I had just said. After a few minutes of waiting in silence, I realized he actually did say it. ‘That’s all I wanted to hear.’ I repeated the sentence in my head a few times. I looked up at him to see his eyes half closed as he looked down at me. A small smile was on his face. He reached out and started stroking my hair gently. I smiled softly at him. He slowly started to lean down towards my face. My eyes widened as he got closer. His lips gently touched mine in a sweet, soft kiss. I closed my eyes and put my hands around his back. His hands went down to my hips as he held me close. He kept the kiss short and sweet, pulling away pretty quickly. I couldn’t believe how red his face was. I’d never seen him blush like that. I smiled up at him and nuzzled into his shoulder. He rubbed my lower back very softly and he himself sighed.

“Y-you’re pretty damn ‘eugh’ lucky. I like you too, (Y/N).”
