Life's been kind of weird since we went to Valerie and Michael's wedding. Not bad weird but excited and funny weird. Valerie and Michael ending up getting a divorce a week later because Jahseh's reckless ass wanted to a messy. It was this huge thing. Speaking of weddings, did you know that 3 of my friends have gotten married? I've gone to 3 weddings in a course of 6 months. I remember we all were just lonely little kids once upon a time.

Dimitri's businesses literally went 0-100, real fucking quick. I didn't think he'd really make it as a business man but this guy somehow did. Both his businesses are too 10 in Florida, the psychic place that Kim works at and the bar I work at, went from 1 and half stars to both rating 5 stars and I still don't know how it happened but it did and I'm happy for Dimitri. I remember the day Dimitri came in crying one day, I was sure of the worst thing that was gonna happen. We were all sure. But this nigga was all smiling and shit,

"I told y'all broke ass bitches that I would make it from 1 and a half stars but y'all didn't believe me. We're at 5 and a half now."

I thought he was playing around but he was deadass.

In other blessings upon blessings upon blessings, Jahseh and Miles's relationship is stronger than ever. They went from not acting like they didn't know each other to the best friends they were before.

They've been closer and closer and I think they're hiding something from me, I think everyone in the friend group is hiding something from me. I'm too hungry as fuck to care so whatever. Bitch asses.

Jahseh went off to visit Kim and Jarad because Kim moved out and moved in with Jarad and he says he misses him, and misses Jarad also. Me with nothing to do, I went outside to smoke a cigarette. Jahseh doesn't like me smoking these "cancer sticks" but honestly I don't know what else to do.

About 10 minutes into smoking I feel a tap on my shoulder. I looked over and it's Miles, "Stop all that cancer shit." he says smacking the cigarette out my hand.

"That was my last one-" I whined.

"I don't care, you need to be alive for the next 20 years." He says. "Anyway, I need to speak to you. Privately."

"But there's no one around." I said looking at the empty lot.

"We need to go inside." He insisted, chivering, "It's cold."

"Nigga it is 90 degrees-"

"No more comments, fat, let's go." Miles says starting his walk towards my door.

I groaned and followed. What is so important that he needs to talk right now, and smacked my cigarette out my hand like his name is Tyrone or something. "I'm Tyrone." type beat.

We get inside and I close the door behind me and take a seat on the couch, while Miles stands impatiently in front of me.

"What?" I said shrugging.

"Where's the ring?"

"Ring?"

"Yes, ring, bitch, where is it?"

"Like..engagement ring?" I asked.

"What other ring would I be talking about, Stoke?"

"Oh. Well, why would I need an engagement ring?"

Miles stood silent for a few moments before speaking, "You looked me dead in the face.. and asked me, 'well why would I need an engagement ring?' nigga, to get engaged, the fuck!"

Oh. I know there this is going.

"Oh you want me to propose to Jahseh." I said standing up.

"Ding, ding, ding, nigga. Yes. Where's the fucking ring at? You guys have been together for a year."

"Well.. where's your girlfriend at Miles?"

he squinted his eyes, "Don't you turn this on me, you ding dong. This is about you." He said, "Do you know how many weddings we been to this year? 3 consecutive fucking weddings. Gazzy and Omar got married on New. Years. Day. the first wedding of the damn year. Gazzy Pineiro and Omar Pineiro. Not to mention, Symere and Jordan were already engaged during that time. 3 months later, Symere and Jordan made it official, now it's Symere Woods-Carter and Jordan Woods-Carter." Miles stated. "Guess what happened 3 months later?"

I groaned, "What."

"Kim and Jarad, say it with me,"

"Got married." we said in unison.

"Yes! We just went. And guess who we're all waiting for? Mr. Goulbourne. Who hasn't even bought a damn ring, looking at his bank account.. you could buy two."

"Okay, okay. Miles, please, I get it. I'm slacking." I admit.

"You are. And Jahseh is not materialistic, he's not going to hint you or ask. Jahseh and I haven't talked about it but I know for a fact he thinks about it." Miles says. "I, myself, am not going to rush you into anything, take your time, but I just wanted to let you know and make sure you were aware."

"I am fully aware now from your rant." I said.

"Stop, fat." Miles says.

"Stop calling me fat." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I got it from Kim."

I never really thought I'd make it this far into getting married. I spent a long while in jail and never did getting married cross my mind those nights where I lay there in bed in my cell thinking about how when I get out I will do the same thing that would get me back in jail. I never thought, 'when I get out, i will get a job, get a house, get married, and live my best life.' not even close.

I always had a feeling that would never happen but I stuck to it. My feelings were right though.

"How's the married life for you, Kimmy." Granger said, touching my shoulder.

"It's fun." I replied, "It's kind of weird though."

"How come?"

"You're kinda like, 'what now?' after."

"Oh, yeah I know exactly how you feel. Except since I've had like 8 husbands, I anticipate the end of the relationship."

"Oh shit." I said. "We need to find you a man."

I heard a familiar sound, meaning there's a costumer. I have been tired all day, Jarad and I just came back from vacation and I still have jet lag.

"Hey, Kimmy." I heard, I looked up and saw Jahseh and got this sudden burst of energy. I gave a big hug lifting his small body off the ground. "I haven't seen you in like a year."

"Well yeah, it feels like that because you fucking left me." Jahseh corrected.

"Okay, i'm sorry Jah but what's a married couple that doesn't live together."

Jahseh sighed, "You're right. I still missed you though. How's life now that you're married?"

"It's cool, I never thought i'd get to say 'I'm married' if anyone asked." I replied.

"I'm so happy for you, Kim. Seriously, you really built a life for yourself."

"Okay, but I would not be here without you if you didn't give me a place to stay, make me flush those bags of cocaine down the toilet and pushed me to get a job."

"Those are just simple things, you did the rest." Jahseh said.

"No, I would've had a whole relapse if it wasn't for you. I'd probably be in jail all over again. You helped me even though you really didn't have to and I appreciate you so much for it. You probably would've never saw me again if you didn't say you had an extra room in your place."

Jahseh smiled and looked down, "You're gonna make me cry. Thank you, Kim."

I pulled him in for a hug, "You're welcome."

"Anyway, hows your life going?" I asked him.

"It's been awesome, I've gone to a handful of weddings this year."

"Right, and not one of them was yours." I said. Jahseh seemed to choke a little bit, "Excuse me?"

"When are you getting married, Jahseh, that's all everyone's wondering."

"Kim, these things I don't know, we're going to have to wait and see what life has planned."

"Jahseh, come on. 6 of your friends are married."

"Okay but Dex, Dimitri, and Royce are single."

"And you're not. You're in a relationship that's been going on for a year and some months and you're telling me that man hasn't got down on his goddamn knees yet?"

"Calm down, Kim. These things take time, and I don't like to ask for things. I have to let him work at his own pace and if he really wants to propose then he can."

"No he WILL fucking propose."

It's been getting on my head, and everyone else's, that Jahseh and Stokeley aren't married yet. We all thought that Jah and Stoke would be the first ones from the group to get married but it seems like they might be the last ones. I feel like i'm on a reality TV show and i'm doing a cut scene interview every time I think about how Stokeley snd Jahseh haven't gotten married. Like i'm on the Kardashians or something.

"Kim, getting married isn't really what I want right now, yes it would be nice, but I'm still trying to figure out my life still. And i'm happy with the relationship i'm in with Stokeley, I wouldn't settle for anything more if we stay dating forever."

I sighed, so stubborn. "I guess you're right.. We

just think it's kind of weird how you guys haven't gotten engaged yet. After everything, we were sure you guys would've gotten married by now but you guys proved otherwise."

"It's okay, we'll see in the following months, or years, or decades." Jahseh said.

"If you guys are together for a decade and he hasn't popped the question, I will be back in jail."

Jahseh rolled his eyes and laughed, "You're funny, Kim."
