"So where did your name come from?" I asked
"Hermione? Oh. I don't know. Coincidence." She replies.
"Do you get any Harry Potter jokes at all?"
"Duh. When I was in school, my teacher would call me Granger."
"That must suck."
"Yes, because I don't even like Harry Potter. I was being called Granger for the majority of my high school days."
"Do you have a nickname?"
"The thing is that there is no nickname for Hermione."
"Yeah, but I like Granger, it makes you sound tough."
"Granger is like..a lumberjacks name. Or a serial killers name."
"Well I like it, and I'm going to call you Granger from now on."
"If you call me Granger, I get you call you Kimmy."
"Why does everyone want to call me Kimmy? Such a fucking sissy nickname."
"It's not a sissy name, it's adorable. Now deal?"
I sighed, "Fine. Granger."
"Alrighty, Kimmy. Seems you have a costumer." Granger says. I turn to look at who it might be and surprise, surprise.
"Jared?" I said shocked. He looked at me with the same level shock as me. Why does he have to be here? What future does he possibly want to hear from.
"Oh hey, Kim." He says.
"You guys know each other? Kimmy you have so much friends."
"Yeah, we know each other. Anyway, you can meet me in the ass room." I said walking into my room and sitting down at the table. Whatever questions this man wants to know, I'm not ready for it. Even though we saw each other yesterday, and I literally ignored the hell out of him, it's like we haven't seen each other in a while. But I need to listen to Jahseh and calm down, he's a friend and that's it.

I hear muffled talking before I hear footsteps approach the room and stop. "Hey." I hear Jared say. I give the most authentic smile I could, "Hey." I replied, gesturing for him to come sit.
He sits down, "I thought you weren't a psychic."
"I'm doing it for the culture."
"So you have Raven visions now?"
"Kinda."
"That must be cool.." He says. I nod and smile. Ok, it's awkward as shit and he's my first actual customer, and I'm super fucking nervous.
"Alright, am I supposed to just ask you questions?" He asks.
"Yeah. Ask away."
"Okay..." He says starting to think.
"Will I ever get married?"
"Um..yeah. I see you getting married."
"To who?"
"How am I supposed to know." I said.
"How? You're the psychic."
"Okay, Okay. I don't know, their last name ends with E."
"Okay. How old will I be?"
"Either 30 or 35."
"How long will I be with the person?"
"Less than a year."
"Seriously?" He says.
"I'm kidding...you're going to be with that person for the rest of your life."
He nods his head and smiles and starts to think again.
"Do you think things will ever be the same with my friend and I ever again?"
This man.
"Sure."
"Sure? That's it?"
"Jared, I don't know. Maybe? It might."
"Kim."
"Look I don't know. I'm guessing you guys will be fine."
"He's been ignoring me though."
"Am I suddenly a therapist?"
"No I just want to know what's going to happen." Jared says.
"He's ignoring you because for whatever reason his retarded ass feels that whatever was done is going to ruin your relationship, so he feels the best way to fix it is to ignore it."

"You're not retarded, it was my fault that I even kissed you. I know you said you don't want to talk about this anymore, and me constantly apologizing but I really don't want to put our friendship in jeopardy. I miss how we'd always go after each other and joke around."
I chuckled, "And how we'd do it for no reason."
"Egg Zach Lee." He says. We both laugh at the response.
"But yeah, I'm sorry, Kim. It shouldn't have happened, and I know you don't like it so it won't happen again." Jared says.
Man. This the life I'm going with now. So many things good have happened after I switched my life around and if Jahseh didn't offer me that day, this all wouldn't have happened. I'm just gonna have to accept it.
I place my hand over his reassuringly, "I never said I didn't like it."
Granger then walks in with female customer, "Kimmy you have another costumer, are you finished here or do you want them to wait outside?"
I look over at Jared who's all flustered by my response. "I'm ready for them." I said. Jared get up, "I'll see you later, Kim." He says. I nodded and he walks out.
The female comes in and sits down. "Okay so quick question." She starts, I nodded.
"I got this drink at Starbucks the other day and I think the lady ripped me out of my money AND she spelled my name wrong. I want to go confront her today but I don't think she'll be there. Will she?" She says.
I roll my eyes and sigh. If this is the type of people being a psychic brings, I'm going to be staying up at night thinking about shit that's not even important.
