I nearly broke my phone when I threw it across the room. I already knew that they weren't going to believe me.

You ask why I won't just go to Orlando. I don't have a car, without a car, I can't leave. And Jah is still not answering me so I could ask for his location.

But I still can't sleep and I've got to get to this job interview. This place wasn't all that far, I could walk there and walk back and since it was almost 8 in the morning, and the interview started soon I need to at least pretty my self up.

After taking a shower, brushing my teeth, eating whatever I saw, I finally left and from the from the looks of it, I was going to get there on time.

~~~
I got there just on time like I thought I would, to this large blue house like place that said,
Psychics! Come get your palm read, and your future told! Hiring!
Some corny shit like that. I take a deep breath and walk in. The door makes a little jingle when I walk in that makes me jump a little bit. I see a middle aged woman who's sitting about 10 feet away from the door. We make eye contact and she smiles in response,
"Hello. Are you here for a reading?" She asks.
N-no, I'm Kim." I said.
"Oh! Kimetrius? Right! I remember you!" She says getting up and coming over to me, giving me a cheek to cheek kiss.
"Come right this way! I need to ask you a few questions." She says leading me over to another part of the shop, sitting me down in a room. It was decorated with plaques and monumental pictures of famous "psychics." I think all psychics are frauds. How are you going to lie about you reading minds, or seeing the future? Cool it, Raven.
"Okay, Kimetrius, you are here toda-"
"I'd like to be referred to as just Kim. Please." I asked.
"Oh. Why? Kimetrius is a beautiful name." She says with a smile.
"Yeah, but you're not even saying it correctly." I said.
The whole time she's been saying "Kim ET trus." Why cant people read my name correctly, it's literally Demetrius, just replace the D with a K. It's whatever though, I need a job.
"It's pronounced KIM E TRIUS." I corrected.
She nodded her head, "I'm so sorry. I'm not good with pronouncing names. Kim, okay. I can remember that." She says giving me a smile.
"Anyway, Kim, what makes you want a job here?" She asks.
Because I want money, and I'm broke as fuck. And you're hiring."
I have a deep sigh, "Because I want money, and I'm broke as fuck. And you're hiring."
Her eyes widened and she nodded slowly. "Oh. Okay, n-not the..uh.. answer I was looking for." She says writing something down.
"Oh, and I can feel shit." I said. She looks up at me, "What do you mean feel? What do you feel?"
"I don't know. I have feelings of energy. Like say if you were about to walk through a door, I'd probably open it for you before you could. Oh! And I can predict shit, or describe things that I'm not there for, or wasn't there for."
"Oh?" She responds.
"Without someone telling me of course." I said.
She starts writing down some things then looks at me for a minute before she speaks.
"Okay, very good..alright, Kim. When did you figure out you..had these abilities?"
"I don't know. Recently, I just started knowing everything that was going to happen or had already."
"What's your most recent event?" She asks.
I hope she hadn't asked that. I just forgot, and was starting to feel better. It was the whole Jahseh shenanigan, but I don't think I'll be able to tell her.
"I-I don't want to talk about it.." I said.
"Oh..I'm sorry for asking. Can you tell me any other time?" She asks.
"I predicted that one of my good friends, Stokeley, had feelings for my other good friend."
She smiled, "That's Romantic. How do you know?"
"The one he likes doesn't believe me, but Stokeley had told me, after I put him on blast about it." I said chuckling. "He blew it though." I said, my laughter dying down.
She writes something down, which took a while. I immediately knew what it was that was taking her so long.
"It's S-T-O-K-E-L-E-Y not S-T-O-G-E-L-L-Y." I said. She looked at me confused, then erased what she was writing.
"How did you..know?" She asks.
"I just do." I said.
She nodded and rewrote whatever she was writing.
"Kim. You have given-"
"I've given you excellent information but I still haven't proved I'm worthy of taking me in?" I said cutting off.
"Exactly..yes exactly. I don't know if you're faking or not." She says.
"I am not faking anything. You just don't believe me."
"Kim, there's more to all this than just predicting a few things." She says.
I sighed and shook my head. "You're coffee is ready." I said.
She looked at me confused before she understood what I was taking about and got up quickly. She care back with her coffee, she took a sip before she sat down.
This is honestly a waste of time.
"I think I'm ready to leave now, ma'am. It was nice to meet you." I said getting up. "Wait! Why? I still need to ask you more questions." She says also getting up.
"Look, no one is going to believe me anyway. That's why my friend is in danger and everyone thinks I'm making it all up.. I should've just declined staying with Jahseh and went on my path back to what I did best." I said.
"What do you mean?" She asked me.
I think I need a therapist.
"Nothing." I said. I walked straight out of the place and started running. Not even in the direction of home. I felt tears start streaming down my face to a point where I couldn't focus on where I was going because my vision got blurry.
I don't know why no one will believe me. I don't THINK Jahseh is in danger, I KNOW he is. I don't care what anyone thinks, I am going to Orlando.
I don't remember anything. I don't know if I'm home, or not, I probably got too wasted. My head hurts like a bitch though.
I tried to get up but hands were bound to my back, and I couldn't see a single thing because something was covering my eyes. I wiggled and felt other bodies near me, hopefully not fucking dead. I am kidnapped. And I'm in a moving vehicle, so I am definitely being kidnapped.
Where's Jahseh? Kentrell? Nick and Cordae? Shit. Are they the ones near me?
"Jahseh.." I whispered loudly. "Jahseh.." I said again.
"Michael?.." I heard a whisper back, it was Nick.
"Nick! Nick. Are you okay?" I said still whispering.
"I'm fine." He responds.
"Do you know where everyone is? Where's your brother?" I asked.
"I checked. They're still passed out. I see Kentrell and Cordae's body, but I don't see Jahseh's. He's probably in the front." Nick suggests.
"I hear that y'all awake now. Y'all was gone for a long ass time, g." I hear a familiar voice say.
"Shayaa?" I said.
"What's up, Michael. How you liking Orlando?" He says.
"Where the fuck are you taking us?" Nick asks.
"For a visit. Y'all woke up at the right time, we here." He says. I couldn't see where he was pulling up for obvious reasons, but I didn't need to see to know where we are.
My eyes fluttered open, all I heard was people yelling at each other. I don't remember anything up to this moment. I'm in the front seat of a car though. My vision was going in and out until I finally focus on where I was and who was yelling at each other.
It was Shayaa who was turned back, having a screaming match with who it sounded like Michael and Nick. I weakly tried to unlock the door and get out but I was stopped by Shayaa firmly grabbing my arm.
"You're awake? You hear they Michael? He's not fucking dead!" He says yelling behind him.
"Jahseh! Are you okay?" I hear Nick call to me.
All I could get out was a bunch of slurred speech, what I even couldn't even understand.
I see a figure approach my side the car, it was blurry at first but as it got closer, I saw who it was. Jefferey. I started screaming, and tried to move the opposite way but I remembered I'm sitting next to Shayaa who isn't going to let me leave.
"Calm down, Jahseh. I'm here." Jefferey says.
"I told you just to bring, Jahseh. Why are they here? Matter of fact, why are they here and ALIVE?" He says.
He was trying to kill them?
"J-Jefferey, they were I-In a public place. The club! I can't just open fire on people, I wouldn't have gotten him." Shayaa explains. Jefferey sighs then opens my door. I try scooting away but he yanks me out the car with him.
"Whatever. Get them inside, I'll deal with Jah then I'll get to them."
Shayaa nods as he gets out he car and gets to the back to get them. I tried to call out to them but nothing came out. I heard them yelling and tying to fight back to Shayaa, I didn't want them to do that because Shayaa could hurt them.
"Let's go Jahseh. You'll see your friends soon. Hopefully." Jefferey says grimly in my ear. I move my head away, he sneered at me.
"What do you want, Jefferey." I asked intimidatingly.
"What? I can't see the love of my life for a little?" He says chuckling coldly.
"How do you know I was here? Who told you?" I asked raising my voice.
"Relax, Jahseh. Your phone, is my phone. Therefore, I know where you might be at all times." He says.
"You tapped my phone? Are you fucking insane? You've been listening to my calls? And seeing my messages?" I asked horrified.
"Yes, my love..who's Stockly?" He asked me.
"Stokeley you mean?"
"Yeah whatever. Who is he?" He asked me.
"That's..my boyfriend, Jefferey." I said.
He gives me a dirty look and goes silent for a second before sighing and tugging me aggressively towards his hellhole of a place.
I was about to leave to go to to work when I got a call from Kim. I sighed, not this again.
He's been worried sick about Jahseh it's kind of weird.
I answer, "Hello, Kim."
"Stokeley." He says, sounding upset.
"Kimetrius." I responded. "What's up?"
"Oh nothing." He says, sounding like he's wiping his face from crying and sniffling. "I just need a favor from you." He says.
Please it not be going to Orlando. Please it not be going to Orlando. Please it not be going to Orlando.
"I just need you to take me to Orlando." He says.
"Kimetrius come on, you're being extra about this. Plus I have work."
"Stokeley please, I need to prove a point."
"Kimetrius, no. Jahseh is absolutely fine. Remember I told you? He's fine?"
"Stokeley please, please just do this one favor for me." He begs me over the phone.
Kimetrius sounds real upset, and I think he has a mental disorder and needs to see a therapist because this is getting out of hand.
But a part of me really wants to help him and see what's bothering him all the way in Orlando.
"You know what? Fine. I'll call in for work and..I'll come get you. Be ready." I said.
"Thank you so much, Stokeley. Thank you." Kim says excitedly over the phone.
I hummed in response then hung up.
If what Kim is saying is true, I don't know if I'll ever see Kim the same way again. But if it's not, he's paying for my gas money for the next month.
