《JAHS/ELEY》Chapter 38: IM GOOIIN' THROUGH CHAANGEES
Advertisement
It's now 2 in the morning and I still cannot close my eyes for even a second. Im really sleepy, yet I can't even sleep. I got an application for a stupid psychic job near here, and I have a interview soon from now and I'm still up. I am literally doing this for fun and to prove I'm not a mind reader, or a psychic. I'm still in Jahseh's room, and can't leave. Maybe I should call Stokeley, or I should text the group chat and see who's up and tell them. But they aren't going to believe me.
I could try to wake Jahseh up? Or Michael maybe? I really don't know if Jahseh might be up right now, but I don't give a fuck. I'm calling him so I can satisfy this feeling I have in my gut.
I dial Jahseh's number and wait for it to ring. It rings about 5 times before he answered.
"Hey Kim! It's almost 3, what are you doing up? Don't you have an interview in the morning?"
"Jahseh. Are you okay?" I asked frantically.
"Yeah. I'm fine..why?"
"Where are you at? You're at a club right? Who are you with?"
"Yeah..I'm at the club- how do you know I'm at the club? And I'm with Michael and my cousins. Why are you asking me all these questions?"
"I need you to leave, with everyone else. It's getting late anyway." I said.
"Kim, why?"
"Because! I have a bad feeling about you being out so late at the club, and I feel something bad is going to happen, Jah."
"Kim, nothing bad is going to happen. I'm fine, you have nothing to worry about."
"Jahseh. I do have something to worry about, whatever it is you're doing is making me nervous and I can't sleep. You have to leave." I said trying to convince him.
"Kim I don't have to do anything, I told you I'm fine and that's that." He said
"Jahseh, Just list-"
"No Kim. Look, I love you and thank you for worrying, but I can take care of myself. Now go to bed." He said. Before I could answer, he hung up on me. I sighed and put my phone down.
God, if you have really given me the gift of psychic abilities, let this not be what I think is going to Jahseh.

Kim is worrying over nothing. I am going to be alright. I love Kimetrius, but sometimes he over exaggerates.
I probably had ordered 10 drinks the whole night, yet I still wasn't feeling anything. It had been hours. It's probably going to hit me soon but for now, it's ass. I had dodged a couple of dudes, using all types of excuses: "Sorry I have hemorrhoids", "I have an STI", "I have a boyfriend", "Sorry, I'm married" etc. but the worst one I used was, "I'm straight." I shudder every time I say that.
I didn't know where Kentrell, Cordae, Michael or Nick was. We all kind of split the first hour we were here. I'm now sitting alone at the bar, watching the bartender make drinks for wasted ass people. I don't know how Stokeley, Dex, Dimitri, Royce or Jordan can't make drinks. It's the easiest thing ever.
Stokeley tried making a simple "margarita". He said it was the most popular at his work. Moral of the story, don't ask Stoke to make you a drink. It's finna be iced faucet water and a lemon. Not even a perfectly sliced one, he stuck his finger in it and ripped it open to it own sit on the rim of the glass. I see why thy place has a half star rating, the bartenders don't know how to bartend.
I miss everyone. I miss Stokeley.
I was getting a bit tired, I guess Kim was right. It is late and I do need to leave. I went back to the quiet lounge and dialed Kentrell's number. It rang and rang and rang, but he didn't answer. I rolled my eyes. He's probably fucking bitches right now, or too busy spreading his ick. I dialed Cordae's number. Cordae usually answers really quickly, or texts back immediately. It was weird when I called him he didn't answer, it went straight to voicemail. I called twice, and he didn't answer again. His phone must be dead, which is strange because he never lets his phone die.
I called Nick. Nick is on his phone 24/7, recording about everything and everyone. He's a mini Jared. He's most likely on his phone right now. He didn't answer either. I texted all of them multiple times but there wasn't a reply. I finally called Michael. Michael has been kind of weird about tonight, but he should be around here somewhere. It went straight to voicemail.

I don't know what these niggas are doing but I'm tired as fuck and we got to go. I'm obviously not going to abandon them, I have to go look for them. The place wasn't too big so it's not like I have to be searching high and low, it's not that dark either. I'm going to try to find Michael first, he's the easiest to spot since he stands out so much.
I pushed through the crowd of sweaty, drunk dancing people, trying to find anyone with red dreads. Or at least red hair. I about scoped the entire dance floor, lounges and bathrooms. I asked the security guards if they saw 3 light skin and one darkskin leave in a group at all. Or if they saw anyone that looked like Michael Kentrell, Nick or Cordae leave alone. They said no and I about gave up and thought they might have wandered somewhere without letting me know.
I went back in and went to sat near the tables where the dancers dance on, and you could throw money all that bullshit. I sat down and felt something poke my ass. Something hard and rectangular. I got up and felt what it was, because I could barely see that well. I picked it up and it was a phone. I feel sorry for anyone who loses their phone in a packed club.
I pressed the home button and it was an iPhone, but it was Nick's phone. The screensaver was him and Cordae when they were toddlers. The fuck is Nick's phone doing over here alone? I could see all my missed calls and texts. I put it in my pocket and got up to go outside. I don't know here these kids left to go, but they're leaving their things. A club isn't a good place to lose things, because I ensure you, you're never going to get them back.
I decided to just go leave and walk over to sit in my car, maybe they just are too turnt and will get back to me soon. We all came here in my car so it's not like they were able to drive home. It was packed when we got here so we had to park in the back of the club because there weren't any close spots, which now, isn't very packed anymore. It was pretty empty.
It was cold, very cold. It was Halloween finally, but I'm too fucking old to be walking around asking for candy, too old to be eating candy too.
I was almost to my car when all I remember is a familiar voice calling my name. Before I can turn to see who it might be, it felt a strong grip around my neck from obviously a taller man from behind, a white cloth pressed against my face. I struggle but I fell unconscious.
I haven't done this shit in forever. Kidnapping people harder than I remember. The little one, Nick, for some reason was the hardest to get. He's one strong kid. I got him in though. I finally found Jahseh too. Now, to get him back to Jefferey. I can't let him down again like I did that one time I fought Jahseh.
I don't know why Jefefrey wanted me to kill the niggas, but I..couldn't do it. One, that would draw too much attention and two, I just am not about that life anymore. I'm just going to bring them all and see what Jefferey does with all of them. Jefferey isn't the best when I don't do the plan exactly how he wants it, but he's going to have to deal with it himself tonight. I'm not killing people I don't know. Or Michael.
I made sure nobody was around, or looking and pulled his unconscious body into the back of the van I rented. It sucked because I have to get this van back or I have to pay extra. I don't give a fuck though, I used a stolen credit card so whoever's credit card that be, that's your problem now. I laid him near the others, who were going to be in pain when they wake up because they're in terrible positions.
I shrugged it off though, they'll have enough one to stretch when we get to Tampa. I shit the back, got in the drivers seat. Took one look back at what the fuck I was doing, which was crazy, but, Jefferey needs me to do this, so that's what I am going to do.
I started the van and sped out the lot.
