《JAHS/ELEY》Chapter 34: Take A Moment, Count My Guap, Count My Guap

I don't know what Stokeley's problem is but to be honest, I don't care. We can deal with that once Jahseh and I get back.
I know what you're thinking, why the fuck does my lizard looking ass want to get back in Jahseh's life after fucking it up the first time, I know. But listen, I'm not here to win Jahseh back. Or hook up with him or any of that. I'm here because I need to protect him.
So, Jefferey has been trying to get Jahseh back for a while, at first, I was with it and willing to help. But then I starting thinking otherwise, I realized it was wrong and I didn't want to do it anymore. I've known Jeffrey since we were young, and he's never started acting this way since him and Jahseh split. I knew that he was with someone named "X" but I didn't know it was Jahseh, he was secretive about him. Nonetheless, he didn't like my decision and said that he's going to have Shayaa take care of him.
Shayaa served 6 years in prison for kidnapping in the third degree, holding six escaped victims of Jefferey's ring for a certain ransom. I don't exactly remember how much it was, but it was a lot. He got a year for every person, and has steered clear of the law for a long while now. But I'm not convinced he's changed, I'm not doubting Shayaa isn't scared of spending the rest of his life in prison, he's basically Jefferey's puppet. He does everything Jeffrey tells him.
Shayaa is someone to be scared of, I heard Jahseh beat his ass one time but that's not enough to keep him away. We're going to Orlando, and I haven't talked to Jeffrey since we had our disagreement so he doesn't know I might be with Jahseh.

"Jahseh, what's your cousin's names?" I asked him. We've been driving for a while and it's still a bit awkward, especially because I went with him out of nowhere.
"Kentrell, Nicholas and Cordae. Nicholas and Cordae are twins." He responded. "Can I see a picture?" I asked. He nodded, and when we arrived at a red light pulled his phone out and showed me a picture of Kentrell, then a picture of Cordae and Nicholas.
"They look literally nothing alike." I said laughing.
"Well duh, fraternal twins look literally nothing alike." He said pulling away his phone. "How old are they?" I asked.
"The twins are 22 and Kentrell's 24. Be careful of him though." Jahseh said. I looked at him, confused. "Why?" I asked. "That nigga got herpes."
"From what?"
"Hoeing around. Did I not mention Kentrell has 4 sons from 3 different women." Jahseh explains. "Does he..take care of them?" I asked.
"Of course, he's not a deadbeat. He loves his kids and literally never stops posting them. They're quite adorable." Jahseh says giving me his phone again, showing me a picture of Kentrell and his kids. I nodded, smiling.
"What about the twins, what do they do?" I asked placing Jahseh's phone in his lap.
"I don't know. I haven't seen them since they were 16. They liked music though. So probably something with music." Jahseh says. "That's interesting."
"Yeah, but I'm guessing." Jahseh says chuckling. Suddenly we hear police car sirens behind us. Jahseh looks in the rear view mirror,
"Fuck the police, coming straight from the underground. A young nigga got it bad cause I'm brown." Jahseh sings not pulling over for the car.
"Jahseh of you don't pull over." I said tapping him. He groaned and proceeded to pull over. The police car not pulling too far away behind us. Jahseh looks over at me then proceeds to put his hands on the dashboard.

"The fuck you doing?" I said chuckling at him.
"I'm not trying to get killed, especially by police." Jahseh says. Just then the officer, who was fortunately a white man walks towards the drivers side and bends over a little bit to gesture Jahseh to roll his windows down.
Jahseh rolls his windows down and the officer backs up a little bit.
"License and registration, please." He asks looking into Jahseh's car and then at me, then back at Jahseh. Jahseh reaches into his pocket and digs around for a while, then his face going blank as he checks his other pocket and he lets out a sigh of defeat then looks at the officer
"I..um.. I don't have it..with me."
"Dimitri, why did you fire Valerie?" I asked. "Because. She wanted me to." He responds. "Why would she want to be fired?" I asked. "I don't know, but she sucked at making margaritas." He responds chucking.
"Bitch, Royce is still just giving costumers water with lime in it, we all suck at making margaritas." Dex answers.
"Okay, but I think we should be able to make a simple margarita now that it's been literally like 6 months." Jordan answers.
"Oh shut the fuck up. Don't forget to take your pills for your back arthritis, old man." Royce says, making us all burst out laughing.
"I'll have you know, my back does not have arthritis, I'm not old and you guys forced me to sit on the floor." Jordan says crossing his arms. Just then someone walks up to the counter and asks for, you guessed it, a margarita.
"We're gonna be real honest with you, we don't know how to bartend. If you ask for anything on here, all you're most likely gonna get is water with a half peeled lemon in it." Jordan tells them. The person then sighs and nods then walks away.
"Why did you blow our cover?" Dex says slapping Jordan. "Nigga, we have a 1 Star on Yelp, and when you google this place there's literally a half star." Jordan says.
"He ain't lying, this place is trash." Dimitri blurts out.
"You own this motherfucker, 10 head." Jordan responds. Dimitri just rolls his eyes in response.
"We can just..search up how to make the drinks properly. Eventually we'll get better at it. I know someone that's a fast learner. He's not in town though." Stokeley says.
"Is it Jah? Oh yeah. Jahseh just has all the knowledge in the world. He fixed my tv one time." Dex says.
"He fucked you?" I asked.
"No, what the fuck. He just fixed my television that would not turn on. What did you get that from?"
"Oh..sorry. It's just some book I read." I said waving it off.
"But anyway, I can agree with you. Jahseh is pretty good with everything. Surprised you haven't snatched the shorty yet." Royce says, making Dex and Jordan laugh along with him.
I am still thinking about the time where I was going to tell Jahseh I liked him before he left for Orlando, but Jar Jar was there and my dumbass literally blurted out that I didn't like him.
I don't know how I'm going to redeem myself, but I have around a month to go over everything I want to do, and everything I want to say.

His To Keep (COMPLETED)✔️
"What's your name?" He gently asked as he approached me, the rage and hatred that had once painted his features now gone."A-Avery," I stammered out, my body slightly shaking out of fear."Avery," he repeated, my name sounding beautiful as it slid past his lips. The moon trickled through the treetops and illuminated his goldy body as he continued stroking my cheek beneath the soft moonlight. I found myself closing my eyes and leaning into his strangely addicting touch and despite how badly I wanted to pull away, but body refused to and basked in the warm sparks that only my dangerous and feared mate could cause. ***The day Avery's parents decided to leave her and go rogue was the day her once happy heaven became a scorching hell with her demon of an Alpha relentlessly abusing her along with the pack members, being able to have her do whatever they want without any boundaries or limits. One night, the infamous Blood Crescent anti-pack attacks her home, leading to the death of her Luna, the only one who'd cared for her, and creating a new hell for her to endure. But what happens when she finds out her mate is the heartless Alpha of this anti-pack that destroyed everything she'd ever known? Will she be able to keep her head above water or will her mate's dark secrets and past tie themselves to her ankles and drown her in the sea of uncertainty and doubt?
