《JAHS/ELEY》Chapter 17: Y'all Fuckin?

"Play with you like what?" I say trying from behind the bathroom door. First I wake up and see Jahseh slumped on the floor and now he's talking about how it isn't cool for me to play with him.
I hear the faucet turn on and stay on for a little then go off. He comes out a few seconds later and gathers his things, that only being his dead phone.
"It's nothing..just..let's go home." He says. I really did forget we are still between Tampa and Miami, and I manage to read the clock barely. All I can say it's nine twenty something. I had work in a couple hours and we must get home soon, and I'm pretty sure everyone else is wondering why we're gone so late and haven't gotten back.
"I called Jahseh 30 times. 30! AND Stokeley. He said we was going to get Jahseh from his 2 and a half week walk and that was a day ago. Lord knows what happened to them." I say pacing. Symere, Jared, Omar, Gazzy and I have been worried about them and were puzzled on how long it was taking them to come back. I never go this long without contact from Jahseh, and we've only talked ONCE this week.
They're not as worried as I am, they tried coming up with reasons to why they might be taking so long.
"Chill, Miles. They probably are on their way right now." Jarad says trying to calm me down.
"There's always fucked up traffic going out of Miami, they probably got caught there." Symere suggests taking a hit from his blunt.
"It doesn't make sense to why it's taking this long though, they would've at least made it back after 12 last night if the traffic was that bad out of Miami." Omar says.
"Kim said that they maybe did get caught up in traffic but had to stop because Stokeley's dumbass didn't know where they were and most likely stayed at a hotel not too far out of Tampa. Other than that he doesn't know any other reason." Gazzy says casually.
"Why do you listen to Kim? Matter of fact, he's in jail. For a fucking year, and he's texting us still." Jarad says in disbelief.
"We just need to wait it out for a little bit, I think they're fine. They'll be back soon." Omar suggests.
"Hopefully." I let out a defeated sigh.
"We gotta go." I say, Stokeley trailing quickly behind me. We make sure to clean everything and grab everything we had. The lite old lady wasn't at the counter so we just left without checking out. We made it outside and Stokeley stopped immediately.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked curiously. I look around and notice that the lot is empty.
"Where's your car?" I ask looking at him.
"Oh shit..did it get towed? There wasn't a sign that said it's a towing zone." Stokeley says panicking. I was starting to panic too, his car was the only transportation we for miles.
"Now we have to walk? Only god knows how fucking far..somebody stole my fucking car lord..." He starts ranting but I zoned out, his ranting going muffled as I realized that I don't recognize this side of the hotel.
"Stokeley come here." I say, quickly going back inside the hotel. He follows me as I walk through the hotel. There was an exit on the opposite side and I ran towards there, noticing the blonde old lady from the night before reading the same book. I sighed in relief. She noticed me and smiled. "Have a nice day, you too." She says softly going back to her book.

We walked outside to see Stokeley's car. He ran over to it and started making out with the thing, giving it little kisses and whispering to it. Must be nice.
"You gonna stop kissing the car and drive us home?" I say walking over to the passenger's side. He rolls his eyes and opens the door. He gets in, starting the car and pulling out.
Later on in the drive it's silent. I was still tired, and it was really early. I think. I pick up my phone, trying to turn it on and realizing it still dead. I feel a sharp pain in my stomach which makes me grunt. Stokeley looks at me, "You good?" Before I could answer I feel it again.
I'm hungry as fuck.
"I'm hungry.." I say softly grabbing my stomach and trying to relax.
"Me too, Jahseh." He says simply. This nigga better feed me his kids-
"So what's the real reason you went to Tampa?" He says out of no where. I hesitate for a second not really sure if I should tell him. What am I going to say? My psycho ex boyfriend, who is also a trafficker, drugged me and took me all the way to Tampa for god knows what reason.
If you say that out loud it sounds weird.
"Um..no reason..?" I say unintentionally it came out as a question. He groans, "Stop lying. What was the reason?" He asks turning to me. "There's no reason..I just was..visiting someone." I scratch the back of my head, knowing I can't keep this lie up forever.
"Why didn't you take your car, or tell us then? And take a fucking charger?" He says with slight annoyance in his voice. "B-because-" I start to say, "Tell the truth, Jahseh. If anything bad happened to you, you can at least tell me before you get a lecture from Miles." He says cutting me off.
True, I could just tell him and have him tell Miles but then Miles is going to keep me locked in a cell until I'm 30, then when I turn 30 he's going to pick my husband for me and he's going to be a old ass piece of shit that forces me to drink lean and secretly worships the devil. I going to try to get a divorce on him, he lies to the judge that I sell drugs and that's going to put our adopted child, Jerome, in danger. Then I'm going to lose custody and he single. I'm going to lose my house and all my money with no way to pay child support and no way see him because I'm in jail for selling drugs that I never even had.
Don't you ever just think of these things when you're stressed out? I know I do.
"I-I uh..I was...I just..fuck." I say rubbing my temples. "You remember when I told you about my ex that one tim-" Before I could finish my sentence, he slammed on the brakes making me shoot forward, thankfully I had a belt on so it prevented me from busted my head on the dashboard.
"YOU GOT KIDNAPPED AND DIDN'T TELL US?" I basically shouts looking at me. "Kim was right..Kim was fucking right." He said to himself.
"I didn't think it was a big deal-"
"SO SOMEONE IS GOING TO HOLD YOU HOSTAGE FOR 2 AND A HALF WEEKS ALL THE FUCKING WAY IN TAMPA, FLORIDA, 4 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME, AND YOU DIDN'T THINK IT WAS A BIG DEAL?!" He yells in disbelief. I really thought Stokeley was about to chuck me out the car at this moment so I leaned as close as I could to the window. I never seen him this mad, he's usually a quiet, chill guy.

"THATS ILLEGAL, ONFROY!"
"Okay, Okay, I'm sorry.." I say trying to calm him down. He sighs and starts moving the car again. He shakes his head, "Don't do that again." He says calmly this time.
"Okay..daddy.." I say, I felt him swerve a little bit. He gave me a glare and focused his eyes back to the road.
How do you get kidnapped, you escape and not tell anyone? That's some peculiar ass behavior.
I didn't mean to snap as hard as I did on Jahseh, it's just when he said he thought it wasn't a big deal. I never was too close to Kim, but I thank him for his psychic abilities drugs probably gave him.
The car sat in silence for a while, Jahseh's head leaning on the window, bored.
Half an hour passes by and we haven't said a word to each other. Either because we're too scared to or we don't know what to say. I want to talk about earlier but I'm not sure Jahseh wants to talk right now.
More time passes by without a word, it felt like we've been driving for hours.
I see familiar stores nearby, and more cars, indicating civilization, then I see a sign: Welcome to Miami
I think Jahseh seen it too as he sat right up. "We're home.." He says quietly, with a smile on his face. "We're fucking home!" He says louder. I chuckle as knew the way we were going get back to the apartment complex.
We pulled in and see Jahseh's car, Omar and Gazzy's car, Miles's, Jarad and Symere's car. I knew we had a lot of explaining to do once we get back inside. They're all most likely in my apartment as I gave Omar a spare key for emergencies..he never has emergencies though. He just brings everyone over and then they steal all my weed.
We park and get out, Jahseh excitedly jumps up and looks around. "We're finally home." He says now walking up the stairs towards the apartments. I followed behind him, he goes the direction of his apartment and I just follow behind him. "Aren't you going back to your place?" He says confused, getting to the door and reaching in his pocket for his house keys he surprisingly still had.
"I'm gonna just..chill with you for a second." I I say. He freezes up a little bit but loosens and opens the door. The place looks like nothing ever happened. He gives out a relieving sigh and turns to me. "Thank you so much, Stoke. I don't know if I could ever repay you, man." He says putting his phone on charge.
I look at his nicely sculpted body. I never thought I would ever look at a man and think they're so sexy. I ain't ever looked a girl like this so I'm confused on why I am now. Jahseh is really just a..really good looking guy..wait no, I'm straight. I can't be thinking like that.
"I'm gonna go take a shower, I feel gross." He says getting up. "There's a spare charger here..somewhere. Make yourself at home I'll be down in a few." He says chuckling lightly. I nod and follow him with my eyes as he disappears around the corner and I hear what I assume is the bathroom door shut.
I sigh and look around for the charger he was talking about. I look around even more and spot a white cord hanging from a lamp stand he had in the living room. I walk over to it, I'm too focused on it I bumped into something. Breaking my focus and switching it over to whatever I hit. It was a big box. I didn't pay too much attention to it, he just moved how're a few months ago, he's still packing. It was slightly opened, so my nosey ass thought it was a great idea to look in it.
I pulled the heavy box over to the couch so I can sit comfortably. I really shouldn't be going through his things, that was his business and I had no right to invade but the urge was too powerful to ignore. I completely forgot that I need to charge my phone and opened the box. It was just pictures of Jahseh with friends and family, some pictures of Miles, some shirts, and VCR tapes with words and numbers written on it in white ink.

JO6 - promotion day
There were 5 tapes, the 4th one missing. JO must stand for Jahseh Onfroy, if anything else. What were on the tapes? And what does "promotion day" mean? Obviously Jahseh doesn't own a VCR because who the fuck owns a fucking VCR when it's nearly 2019.
"Stokeley! You still there?" I hear Jahseh's voice yell from upstairs, I forgot I was even in his house. "Yeah, I'm here." I yelled back, quickly put the tapes back in the box, and placing it where it was before. He comes downstairs in new clothes, his blue dreads no longer in the ponytail he often has it in.
Not gonna lie, he looked good in the blue, it was definitely his color. I missed the half black and blonde though, I miss teasing him and saying he looks like Cruella Deville.
"Did you charge your phone?" He asks, picking up his and seeing all the missed calls and messages pop up. I didn't charge my phone, I was too busy being a nosy bitch. "Fuck...Miles is going to kill me." He says.
"Well, their cars are here so they're probably at my apartment." I suggest. He gives me a weird look, "Why would they be there?" He asks. "Uh..long story." I said. He headed out and started walking over to my place, we heard muffled talking coming from my place and knew exactly who it was. I unlocked the door and let it swing open, all discussion stops and it was completely silent.
I see Omar and Gazzy who were sitting on the couch fairly close to each other, Jarad who was in the kitchen with the fridge open, Symere who was smoking a blunt, and Miles, who was standing up with a nervous look on his face, all snap their necks to look at us without saying a word. I could hear the silence in the room.
"Um..you guys miss us?" I say nervously, my voice echoing from how quiet it was. They all stayed silent for a minute,
"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YALL BEEN?" Jarad yells from the kitchen.
